It seems like a legit effort to create a local currency.
All other local currency efforts have been a either a scam or a failure. So it's interesting to see someone try to do it right.

I personally don't like threads like these because it makes the coin look scammy. Sorry Tami even if your intentions were noble.
Like with any coin you need to do the research yourself, my views will be biased since I do own some coins.

Whats its current value compared to BTC?
It was 70 about 2 weeks ago but is currently trading around 400 sat. I even expect a pull back in the price because I never seen a coin just rise gradually like this. It might have to do with the first alt to release a standalone iOS wallet next month, but they have also added like 14 merchants in 2 weeks or something. So the coin is made to be used.
Don't try explain things to the scamcoin fodder.
