Hello guys, how are you? I have a doubt. It is possible a transaction not be annotated by Blockchain? It is today 12 hours UTC, I sent 260,000 bits for another my wallet. But so far not arrived, I seek the transaction id in blockchain and says: "Sorry We Could not find any blocks or transactions matching this hash", but I seek the same id in tradeblock and says that the transaction has not been confirmed. I check in my wallet in blockchain and shows no pending transaction, but in tradeblock shows that the value I sent is pending. Can someone explain to me what happened? It is normal that happen?
You're right, wallet online are quite unsafe compared the wallets desktop. But the amount sent was just my wallet XAPO for my wallet on the desktop
Has this resolved itself yet? Is the transaction showing properly now?
From what I see, you sent 260,000 bits from Xapo to your desktop wallet... and the transaction shows on Tradeblock explorer, but it is not showing on Blockchain.info explorer?
For those who mentioned it, I doubt the issue will be a fee problem. You can't specify a fee when using Xapo, as it is actually Xapo who are sending the bitcoins on your behalf. They tend to collate transactions, if possible, and send them out in one transaction from one of their addresses with "proper" fees attached.
Speaking from experience, this is also why searching for your Xapo wallet address in the blockchain probably won't show the transaction. The bitcoins don't get sent from your address... they get sent from one of Xapo's main addresses that they control (this is why Xapo is not a safe place to hold large amounts of Bitcoins... because you don't actually 'own' them... Xapo do and have full control over them). I had the exact same issue when I first moved from Xapo to Mycelium. I started freaking out when I couldn't see the transaction on blockchain.info explorer. Then I did a search for the receiving address and it showed up as being sent from some strange address that I didn't recognise.
Anyway, TLDR; what you need to do when looking for "send" transactions from a Xapo wallet is to search the blockchain for the receiving address that you sent the bitcoins to. This should show the pending inbound transaction.
