I never imagined that Arabia, which is partially covered by desert, is now snowing. I can imagine how excited the citizens would be to see snow in a tropical country like them.

This earth keep changing its ecosystem since the day it was created so only fittest will survive that is why lot of organisms are not present now which ruled the world for thousands of years. Eventually humanity also will come to an end but this was sooner than expected because humanity is just adding more fuel to every changes so they make it more worse than how it actually supposed to be.

^^^ Well, in Siberia and other places, they find mammoths frozen inside the permafrost. Some of them actually have grasses that they were eating, still undigested in their stomachs. They froze that fast!

In a few years time, i will not be surprised to see that it has started snowing in places where originally had no snow activity. The world's climate is really changing fast due to global warming. Snow in Saudi Arabia is just a first of such changes

^^^ Oh, that's right. Saudi Arabia is in the northern hemisphere. And the two hemispheres don't trade off winds between themselves very much. So the southern hemisphere will remain warmer.

This turns my problem into a personal one. I'll be heading for the southern hemisphere so fast, that I hope I can stop before I get to Antarctica where it really gets cold.  Grin

Cool

yes badecker. go do a ted cruz
make the decision get out your basement and take a ride on a plane for once
go explore. the world is more random and full of so many new experiences your 4 walls cant provide you.

maybe even go to tabuk and talk to the locals. and realise they get snow regularly in winter

TED cruise means watching TED Talks. If you watched a few TED talks that TED banned, you just might find out what the world is really about - Rupert Sheldrake - The Science Delusion BANNED TED TALK - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKHUaNAxsTg.

I was so looking forward to global warming, so I could lay out on the beach. By the time I retire, all the world's seas will be frozen over. Lol. Cheesy

Global warming doesn't mean that every part of the world will always be warmer than it was previously. It's an average. The most obvious manifestations are things such as summer heatwaves, droughts, flooding, yes... but also increased unpredictability as warming disrupts normal global weather patterns.

Think about the extreme cold and snow that has been battering Texas. Think about the warming of the Arctic and how this might affect air flow. The cold air is normally contained in the polar vortex around the north pole. Consider how warmer polar air might interact with the jet stream to create unprecedented cold weather further south.

i know you might see TV and movies where it shows saudi arabia as deserts. but thats the limit of your experience

its like most people think that ethiopa is just shanty towns and everyone needing to walk 5 hours to get jugs of water.. again thats not what ethiopia looks like.

As a Saudi Arabia citizen, the closest thing we had to snow was a hailstorm that happened many years ago. To see this news, I'm pretty happy to know that maybe we'll get snow here at the city as well, that'd be interesting to see Grin

It is Snowing in the Desert in Saudi Arabia

It is snowing a lot in Saudi Arabia. This has nothing to do with CO2. The sooner we start to listen to great research instead of propaganda that has been manufactured to covertly allow the United Nations to dominate the world, which by the way, they have been lobbying for a Carbon Tax worldwide to be paid to the UN.

Meanwhile. even NASA had to admit that just perhaps the Milankovitch orbital cycles may indeed play a role in the earth's climate cycles. Excuse me, but I really think Biden should be sent back to the basement. What he has done so far by simple decree with respect to climate change denying any hearings in Congress is outright tyranny. I also believe this is bordering on Treason for it is aiding a foreign power, namely the United Nations, to exert power over the entire world economy.
