I guess it was not too late last week. But now? Now it is surely too late.

Oh wait, it just went up a little!
Ok, now it's too late.

As everyone is saying, it's not too late.  At the moment, BTC is going up in advance of the potential hard fork events to possibly take advantage of splits.  Maybe think about slowly buying a small amount of BTC each week or month to average out the market for you?

Also related to the upcoming potential hard forks, people seem to be selling their altcoins to bulk up their BTC.  So the altcoin prices are going very low.  Investigate some and consider buying them now while low.  I'm investing in MRNG on novaexchange right now while it's low and we wait for the electrum and android wallets to be developed, at which point (and probably after the fork when things settle down), the price will rise.

Good luck!

It is not to late. But be aware, that not all projects out there will survive. Only a few of them will survive, but this will be good investments.

I always say that it is never too late to enter the business. True the earlier the better, but also better late than never. I would not consider it any longer and start acting. Try it!

in fact many more coins will die out. Have you guys notice that there are so many more new coins and upcoming icos in recent months compare to a year back? It just means more opportunity to profit but do a decent amount of research before going into a coin

people will ask the same question in three years, when BTC will be hovering around 50k. "Is it too late to buy?"

It's just the way it is I guess.. people are afraid to lose their money, which is natural and they try therefore to find excuses (like it's too late) to talk themselves out of buying anything.. they prefer to live in their own bubble and just miss the plane while it flies by them

Not too late, but certainly your profit margin will not be as good as those who invested much cheaper. It is definitely possible for you to either buy a portion of one bitcoin and use that to invest in other coins that your research and feel have strong potential for adoption in the future, or wait for the price of bitcoin to drop and invest then.

It is definitely not too late for bitcoin. Even though alts have seen a 9700% rise since the beginning of January of this year,
If you look at the market cap of bitcoin, you would realize that it is dwarfed in comparison to that of the stock market which is in the hundreds of trillions, bigger institutions are only beginning to enter the field and there will be even more opportunities if they do.

about this. Scope of activities are increasing in this segment. When the more people will join, the market will be more effective.
One day this bit coin will be used evrywhere as a medium of exchange. So aquire enough knowledge and start working . be optimistic.

There's no such things as too late in crypto...it's just a matter of entry timing when everything was up theres no other way but down. Knowledge in charts or trading view would help a lot in timing your entry to bitcoin or altcoins. Crypto currency has a lot of room to expand and adaption is still newly established.

No, Bitcoin will most likely keep increasing in price so it's never going to be too late to buy. However, the longer you wait, the lower your potential to make money.

Bitcoin was designed so that the number of mined coins gradually decreases over time and there will never be more than 21 million Bitcoins in existence. The coins will become more scarce as fewer are mined and more are lost. As the coins become more scarce the price is just going to keep rising.

I am a newbie too and i think that we are not late but at the same time i think we have lost some of the big trains like eth. Litecoin monero.
We have to choose some good altcoins for a short-term investment to make a good start so we can go for the big ones.

As many people above said, it's never too late to invest it Bitcoin. If you had invested 2 months ago, you would have a 2 times profit. Pretty good deal, isn't it? However, we can't predict future Bitcoin price. Most people here are optimistic about it and we think it's going to be worth a few times more in the next few years.

I started hearing about Bitcoin in the summer of 2016, but I waited until this year to start investing, and thought I was too late to the game. But since I bought my first Bitcoin (portion of a Bitcoin really) the price keeps steadily going up month over month, and if you are paying attention to the swings, you can buy at more favorable times (like right after governments and CEOs say and do things that introduce FUD). Not suggesting day trading crypto - you might as well learn how to count cards or go play Poker at a casino - but if you're in it for the long game, realize the price has been rising at levels which far outpace the stock market and other investments available to those of us who don't invest full-time or have millions to invest. So, no, I don't think you are too late.

It's never too late ! However, since it's a new Era for cryptocurrency, and that it is not just Bitcoin anymore, I advise you to diversify what you buy. It's investment, as always !
You could buy between 25% and 50% of your investment in bitcoin, as you might be sorry if you locked everything and missed the chance to invest in a new promising token Wink

Good luck and welcome, I guess Grin

Even though you may have missed out on some big gains, I think we will still see big gains in the future. I think the key is to start accumulating as much Bitcoin as you can and maybe one or two major altcoins as well. Just store up as much as you are able to buy or earn and in 10 to 20 years, you may still be wealthy. I think Bitcoin will be worth a lot more as the supply starts to dry up and there are fewer mined. People will just hold on to what they have for retirement or major purchases.

It may not be too late, but it has certainly gotten more expensive to join the party. Nobody really knows the direction that bitcoin will take in future, it could crash down again at any moment or it may take a steady rise up to $10,000 - it is all guesswork. However, if you have got the money available it might be worth investing a small portion of your portfolio.

I think yes, because you see the price of the bitcoin now and some of altcoins? Its almost so high even in a month you cant buy 1 bitcoin not like previous years.

It doesnt work like that anyway, people dont have to own 1 bitcoin to use it.   The whole world is billions of people and so there will never be enough coins to give 1 to each person and there are only millions of bitcoin, the scale is off to ever say I want 1.

The answer really is any fraction or small part of bitcoin useful in transmitting value, since its allowing global use in any country and fast easy to access balances its relevant even in small amounts.    The answer to the question has to be given by yourself really, I guess it varys by your own community.   In general across the world, on average the usage or need for bitcoin is rising.   Most of the billions in the world really have small amounts of money, so can bitcoin help them.   If you think bitcoin is useful then its not too late.

Same question I had when bitcoin reached the first ATH of $1200, "Am I late to the party?" Those times it seems that everything is already at the peak, simply because everyone is so happy and selling their bags. Fortunately, it's just a massive pump orchestrated by Willy and his friends. If there's one thing I learned about holding bitcoins that is you hold it for a long time since there is always a high possibility that you'll gain profit by just holding those coins.

I thought it was too late when I was buying bitcoin at $400, $500, $600. Turns out it wasn’t.

If your intentions are to turn thousands into millions, then maybe it is too late. Nobody can answer that question.

But if your goal is to invest in Bitcoin, with hopes of investing in an appreciating investment. I believe it isn’t too late. I can see Bitcoin hitting $10,000 or possibly $100,000. Anybodies guess.

If you want to invest in something to potential make massive multipliers, then get into altcoins. For that it is definitly not too late.

As most people have said... Not at all!

In terms of where we all want bitcoin to go... this is still very early days.
Out of a speculative industry (even though I don't think its going to stop) bitcoin definitely remains the most stable and most promising (primarily due to the first mover advantage I'd say).

But as you spend more time in the scene you might even find more and more 'alt coins' that catch your eye.

Whether its Privacy (Monero, DeepOnion)
De-centralized CPU renting (Golem)
Immutable Data-storeage (Factom)
Programmable Decentralized Application platforms (Ethereum, Neo)

Those I've listed aren't even the tip of whats available.

So definitely don't write off the scene, start with bitcoin and go from there!

It might be too late to become a millionnaire with Bitcoin but it most definetly isn't with Altcoins. You might want to check out my signature and take a look at Atlant. They are facilitating the process of buying and selling real estate. There are many other real estate projects but this one is the most promising in my opinion.

I am a newbie and i want to know that, has it been too late for me to involve with bitcoin?

It's never too late to get involved in Bitcoin. This is the greatest revolution of human history and we on this forum are still the early adopters... so, bro, start mining, trading, buying, do signature campaigns, sell your stuff and your skills for Bitcoin, use faucets, do whatever you want, but do yourself a favor and start using Bitcoin! And also don't be afraid if Bitcoin price will rise or will go down, and the same way don't care too much about FUD and fake news which try to undermine your faith in Bitcoin. Just have faith and we'll conquer the world!

I agree, it's never too late to get involved...I was actually involved in bitcoin 4 years ago before but already sold mine quickly in higher value of it but it was a mistake. then i buy again of this 3times of the price of bitcoin i sold before..

no its not. we all people are confusing on the things that we knew on a late time, but its not necessary. to invest/buy bitcoin its not too late. although the price of this bitcoin is so huge, but its more profitable to you to have this bitcoin, as you can see in the market, bitcoin is more getting bigger and bigger in its own price. so when you invest in bitcoin its not too late to have.

Well I feel the Same way with bitcoin I want to invest in them but with 1 bitcoin being like 4500 usd how can 1 buy it? I saw some other ico to invest bit idk them.

You don't have to buy one whole bitcoin. You can buy in smaller decimals, depending on your budget. (e.g. 0.05BTC). The best website to buy bitcoin depends on what country you're in.

Definitely don't go the ICO path if you don't know what you're doing. You can possibly lose the money you invested.

Why would you be late? If you still don't see bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies being accepted almost everywhere, then you're far from late. People were asking the same question when bitcoin reached $1000. and $2000. and $3000. etc. I can see it happening again in the next $1000 increments.
