Itbit stopped supporting Texas like one year ago for some reasons. It's usually not that they don't want to support it but mostly because of the laws that the U.S has. I was able to find Gemini[1], which is the exchange of Winklevoss twins so It's reputable, I don't know about the fees though.

Just tried to sign up over at itbit, to get away from coinbase and their high fees. But wait! I can't because for some reason, they don't like Texas. Below is a screenshot of this. So can anyone here recommend me a good place to buy bitcoin that:

1. Has low fees. Coinbase is too expensive

2. Is based in the United States

3. Will freakin' accept us Texans

I could probably overlook it, if they are not based in the U.S. As long as they have a very good reputation.
