There should always be checks and balances in any well-established, developed country. No one party should be too powerful that it is able to create a dictatorial regime. Countries with corrupted armed forces do exist, and you are right, it could be disastrous.

Your saying is 100% true, sometimes armed forces in developing countries behave like organised and government supported criminals, situation become more miserable when it comes to women. They don't wanna even complaint against crime because they feel insecurities to approach police etc. Even sometimes we get news that some prisoners got pregnant in so called custody. Armed forces don't work for public they work for politicians and system also supported by them.

Armed Forces is in a simple term a group or organization permitted to use weapons to protect the live and properties of its citizens

This entity are permitted by the government and provided with licensed ammunition to go about there duties but it's so sad that this group which where suppose to be protecting it's citizen is in reverse oppressing them because the man behind the trigger is lord.

There is no country in which this menace is not felt but the rate at which it happens in developing countries is quite much.

I was in a taxi the other day when we where stopped by men of the Armed Forces and where searched from person to person with out a legit search warrant then a man was asked to unlock his phone(which obviously is his private property) when he refused he was shot right on the spot and we where forced by this men to leave immediately leaving behind with them the lifeless body of that very young man.

The news agency and some time the government cover up for this complete injustice my twisting the story(act of
self defence and so on)  in other to favour them

In developing countries men of the Armed Forces who are positioned at check points to tackle criminals on the road rather forcefully collect money(brides) from commercial drivers before the grant them passage

It's pathetic and requires attention that they organisation tasked with safe guarding it's citizen inflicts them with pains, fear oppressing and uncertainty.

"if you are attacked by a criminal you run to the Armed Forces
What happens when you are attacked by the Armed Forces themself"
