That's quite an unusual issue. I haven't seen it before (though i haven't really checked) not sure how widespread it could be.

They're not the same, you got phished, op used official links to fund the forum. Look at the link in the OP (click quote to show the OP as text or right click>"copy link address"). Seems like another case of an old off-site avatar (specifically this user's: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/mranderson-16414) on an unsecured domain. PMed theymos about it.
