People who think they can buy Ferrari with 10 btc have unrealistic view of btc.

Only see it possible if there is a new technology that come along to reduce the price of car or make car obsolete. Then maybe they can buy Ferrari from the junk yard or antique store with 10 btc.

2020 is 6 years from now. 10btc is now $4800. A pessimistc 100% per year would make that 4800*2^6= $302000 a 500% per year would make 4800*6^6=$224M

I voted a castle because I want one Wink

Probably in 2020 there will be an altcoin much better than btc which will take its place.

You don't understand fundamentals. In order to be successful and widely accepted cryptocurrency it takes TIME and requires BIG (trillions USD) market cap.

Bitcoin will have the longest history (11 years) and will have biggest infrastructure and will be proven as safe haven.

No shitcoin will be able to accumulate bigger market cap and gain bigger trust without history (trust is building step by step, looong time).

What is really going on is that I simply enjoy playing a crazed conspiracy theorist.

I tried finding that book online, pdf, audiobook, youtube videos --- everything --- but I did not find anything. I now give up and probably won't get to read it as I'm not going to buy it. Heck, I even tried pirate bay Cheesy

However, what I did find accidentally was this: http://www.cracked.com/blog/5-ways-youre-accidentally-making-everyone-hate-you/

Turns out it's a very interesting read although total off-topic.

So you're saying I pushed my claims to the extremes, and instead of that making you recognize it as worth further research it made you less likely to take the argument seriously?

I see what you attempted but you did it in a flawed manner by introducing puppet masters to the equation. As a result, a perfect argument is ruined in the eyes of a perfectionist such as myself. You had all the time you needed to come up with one polished reply and you screwed it up by sucking irrelevant claims out of your thumb. However, this debate is worthless to begin with because it does not reflect my true position on the exaggerated tinfoil hattery. What is really going on is that I simply enjoy playing a crazed conspiracy theorist. There's no hidden agenda of attracting people to do their research on these topics. If anything, a fellow conspiracy factist could find food for thought.

Ha, do you think so? I guess if we really need improvements when it comes to Bitcoin, we will be integrating those improvments into or on top of Bitcoin, instead of replacing it with one more altcoin!

We have to make it through 2017 before we can even think of 2020. 2016 is the final chance for the illuminazi to execute their plans or they will miss the boat completely. Expect a false flag alien attack, possibly featured by triangular shaped UFOs (sauce: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Igs5LahKkIQ).
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Poeslaw

I personally don't give a shit if such insights are taken seriously or as parody making people less likely to take similar arguments seriously. I like to push my claims to the extremes so that in the worst case scenario my thoughts are interpreted as a joke associated with batshit tinfoil hattery. However, people with natural interest for knowledge will recognize the content that I provide as worth further research naively serving my puppetmasters.
FTFY Wink

naively serving my puppetmasters?

For a second I almost thought your fix was plausible but you ruined it in the last sentence.

In 2020 you could buy a castle with a single bitcoin, in that year all the major companies will have adopted bitcoins.

In 2020 things will be exactly the same as they are now, except hershey bars will have been renamed to something else, and bitcoin will be worth a bit more.

There's a bit of a gap in your options...

10 BTC will buy you more than a $latest_gaming_console, but less than a $super_expensive_car, imo.

Not a ferrari, but 10 btc can probably buy you a decent car or a smallish studio apartment in 2020. Remember that fiat goes down in value, and if the world's government are able to maintain the value of fiat which is inflationary, in which bitcoins response in a deflationary way, a ferrari that would've cost 10 billion may have only cost 10 million , and I think 1 million per btc may be a bit far fetched for 2020.  Maybe at 2040.

Well a 328 is not that expensive, i mean for sure for a guy like me its impossible to buy but its not like it has a supercar price imo:

I see.

Yeah, that's my guess then. I can see 5k to 10k USD per BTC in 6 or so years, if things go well.

Ha. I mean if we go up another 10000% or so, 10 BTC may be more than $500000 and thus at least get you a small Motel or something. Depends on the area, of course, but it isn't completely insane to predict that. Who knows?

I'm going to play it kind of safe and say a Penthouse in LA as I feel that the price will rise and will rise a considerable amount in the coming years. I wouldn't say that an entire hotel would be affordable by 2020 but it may come close.

A penthouse in LA? That surely would be great! But I don't think that this is a certain bet, really! But hey, it could be. If we see an increase in price like we've seen over the last few years, this may become reality!
