Well I guess you had fun, but next time just use Electrum. It's way more simple. You just need to remember 12 words. No need to print and cut anything!

i hath finally create an offline wallet using ubuntu live cd offline.

I am amazed that it detected my printer instantly i didnt even hath to install anything i was so proud of myself.

my hands were shaking, my heart woz pumping and the sweat stung my eyes the struggle much continue.  I tested the BIP38 key over 10 times and will try it again in about a week and when I am finally so satisfied I will coll forth my investment to the physical world using the printer wont be long now.

I cut many 3 wallets using a pair of scissors i felt i woz at school again cutting shapes u no that wallet that folds over with the pretty colours it now feels like a sucj golden check in my hands that will determine my fate in years to come i will cherish it with my life.

i will now put 1 wallet it in a jar and bury it deep below the soils of old until it matures and many years later i will come and return it to its place of creation to cash in my investment and live in a free er world where no one will suffer povertay

Decentralize All The Things!
- Use a laser printer if you can instead of an inkjet, and laminate the paper as already mentioned.
- Be sure that the word "bitcoin" is nowhere to be seen, you don't want someone who stumbles upon your treasure to know what they've found.
- Be sure to seal the space between the jar and the lid with wax.
- Don't use a metal lid, if you do, the seal it entirely.
- Put a plastic bag around the jar and seal it tight.

Of course one could go on and on Smiley

Good luck, Mr. future millionaire. I found a picture of you in 50 years.

I haven't made a paper wallet purely because of the fear of screwing something up in the process. Good to hear it wasn't your case.

I got a few private keys etched in steal.

metal rusts.. plastic lasts forever. hence the laminate statement but maybe have both a laminated paperwallet and etched metal in the same jar,, as backup

laminate it first..

inkjet and moisture seeping in the jar from the soil doesnt mix
and bury it in a set place that can be found later. dont pick a random spot in your back yard.. know where it is buried.. and describably when your too old to dig it up yourself, and starting to get alzheimer's
