Wen I first join dis forum and come understand di value and benefits of holding Bitcoin, I de so excited to di level wey I de tell people wey de close to me. But after some failed attempts I just give up because many think say Bitcoin and all di shitcoins wey full for di crypto market na di same. If I see newbie wey show genuine interest for Bitcoin matter, na dat time I fit to share my experience and encourage am say na correct asset to hold on the long term.

Dem no suppose to force person to know better thing, with time dem go take dem eyes to de see di manifestations. E be like wen dem create Bitcoin new, most of us think say na Ponzi scheme, say one day e go crash, and people wey enter dat time na too much money dem be today. In di future people wey still de skeptical now go regret why dem no hold some wen di price still de within $100k range.

When I saw this I smiled, although dealing with people who don't accept your advices the intrest and the knowledge you are trying to share with then is very annoying, dealing with nomies is so fucking hard and very challenging,I still see many reasons everyday for not forcing anyone into bitcoin, although some people will never accept the fact that bitcoin is the greatest and the most reliable cryptocurrency for investment, in my own perspective if someone introduce you to bitcoin the Person has really helped you in life, however nomies will continue to realize and still be wondering how did all these bitcoin investors making it in life, one thing in life is, when you choose to be poor in life you will remain poor forever....so get up and made up your mind in positive ways.

Convincing people to join in investing in bitcoin isn't a good idea aasome times because some persons do not really understand and may still not comprehend regardless of how much you try to educate them. But if you see someone who's willing to learn and also bear the risk involved, the chances remains that they are most definitely going to be better investors so teach or introducing them to it will not be a bad idea at all.

Probably op is scared he won't earn some merits on other board Cry.. he can literally submit it on this [Request] Report Unmerited Good Posts Here. thread and earn a few. I wonder why he is scared, when he actually made a good post..

I reviewed his posts in general and it doesn't seem like this is his goal, he might be more comfortable with the local board. Overall I'm happy that the local section has become more interactive.

It can be challenging to convince someone to invest in Bitcoin, especially since it's a unique investment opportunity that doesn't offer immediate returns like some other businesses. Many people today prefer investments that generate quick profits, and they're often hesitant to wait for long-term gains.

In my opinion, wealthy individuals may be more easily convinced to invest in Bitcoin. Since they already have a financial cushion, they may be more willing to take a chance on a potentially lucrative long-term investment.
On the other hand, it can be much harder to convince someone who is not interested in investing in Bitcoin at all.

One thing that is certain is that people will always have doubt over things they have not seen, heard about or use, which is normal due to fear of the unknown, and as such, the best way to tell them Bitcoin is the best asset for long term investment is not by telling them, but by showing them truly Bitcoin has actually been the best asset for long term investment. And the second advice I will give you is to not force anybody into investing in Bitcoin, but rather don't fail to create the awareness, and let them decide on their own.
That's the honest truth. Forcing someone to invest in Bitcoin without disclosing the risks is wrong. If things go awry, they may develop negative feelings and even blame you for their losses.

I take a different approach. Instead of pressuring others to invest, I educate them about the risks involved. This way, they're well informed and can make their own decisions. If they still choose to invest and en encounter issues they can't say they weren't warned.

Bitcoin has turned from a decentralized coin that gives it's holders financial liberty free from 3rd parties and other institutions but it seems like it has become like a poverty alleviation scheme..

Don't you think we are spreading a terrible message about Bitcoin, it shouldn't be seen as a currency that elevates people from poverty.

What you need to know is not bitcoin that makes you rich but bitcoin can help you become what you always wanted to become. Instead of saving your money in fiat that will depreciate in a long run bitcoin can do you the favour of instead of lossing value it will increase the value even though it's volatile.

If you have the intention to begin to convince people to invest in bitcoin because you want them to be rich you're probably putting yourself in to some kind of trouble that when there is a dip in the market you will be heard responsible for some kind of irrelevant issues. that's how it works.

Try educating people on how bitcoin works but not what they can achieve if only they invest in bitcoin because they will be driven by greed instead of natural interest. be guided and guide the people well.

Investing in Bitcoin alone will not make you rich. It is true that it will improve your living conditions, but unless your view of money changes, even if you make $100 million from Bitcoin, you will return to being poor within 10 years. To understand what I mean, you can read what happened to some people who won the lottery or were famous stars.

I could definitely add to this, if your total investment during bull season spike up to $150k from $10k invested, could you tell yourself that you are rich? I think NO because during bear season, all will depreciate and loss value if you refuse to take out your profits. If bear season last for 5 years then you are poor in as much as there is constant decrease in profits and prices.

I can only say someone is rich if he receives steady inflow of income from different streams either during bull or bear season. Richness actually comes from little drop of income consecutively without ending.

Having an intelligent conversation with someone who is though not interested in investing in bitcoin but is curious is acceptable. I do not hold it against them is someone is genuinely curious and just want to engage me in all aspects of bitcoin knowledge. However, for those who are do not know and do not know that they do not know, and do not want to know but rather want to pull me into their foolish arguements just to justify whatever their anti-bitcoin beliefs are, then I do not every spare them a second.

If they are the type of people who are enemy to patience, it will be very hard for you to convince them to learn BTC or invest in BTC because they will be looking at the long process they will follow or face before they can start earning profits from BTC than to remain poor in the society. I don't force people to learn BTC, but what I will do in your presence, it will make you to look for me for financial help or the source of my income, which it will give me the opportunity to introduce BTC to you, and there is no way you will not submit to me to learn BTC and start investing in BTC to change your financial life, because he or she have seen some positive results from me at the moment which is enough evidence to believe in BTC.

But if there is no evidence to prove to them that BTC is reliable and dependable in profit making, they will prefer to remain in poverty than to take a risk to learn and invest their money to what is not control by the government .

one thing about this matter be say, you don't owe anybody the role of teaching him/her about bitcoin and if from your church mind you decide to teach the person, your part na to tell them the thing when de need know and if them de wait make you drag them and push them until them know everything, na at that point you fit comfortably cut off the helping hands. the issue de always be say if the person de always disturb you for money and you wan show am the way, you go only fit do your part by teaching the individual the basics, anyone when de find who go baby sit am teach am about bitcoin, na OYO be the person case be that.

a lot of us when don sabi things for the forum and about bitcoin, na just based on the discipline and the dedication when we put into the stuff help us gain these knowledge when we don get so, if any novice no ready to sacrifice small of him time take learn, then that person no de qualified to even earn in the first place.

Well in regards of this topic, I don't see any reason I will be convincing anyone to buy Bitcoin. Bitcoin has already spoken for itself and I don't think anyone would be so dump not to have seen what Bitcoin can do now and in the future. Having Bitcoin now is like owning a treasure for the future. If anyone is still waiting for others to come convince him then he should keep playing. Bitcoin is the future currency and we are heading somewhere..

If i can remember correctly i think there is a thread started by @Giftedman that say no one should pressure anyone to buy Bitcoin. Then why do we still feel we need to convince people to start buying Bitcoin out of their own will.

You are very correct, firstly I do not think it is only about Bitcoin but the saying goes to every other business, no one should pressure anyone to invest in Bitcoin or any other type of investment unless the person shows interest in the investment. Do not get me wrong, there is a big difference between letting people know what Bitcoin is all about and telling them to invest, you can lecture some one who has interest to know more about Bitcoin and you can also assist them if they develop the interest to invest but before doing that they must have a little knowledge of what they want to invest and do not promise them instant profit because they will definitely be on your neck when they don't make quick profit.

Every investment that involves money should be a thing of interest so that when the there is loss or reduced profit the investor will understand and not panic much. Nobies should not be encouraged to invest in Bitcoin because must of them are just interested in Bitcoin because they think they will rich overnight after investing.

Not because we are opportune to get some knowledge about Bitcoin in this forum that has made  it a lot easier for us to invest in Bitcoin then we now feel those who haven't start their investment chooses to remain poor. To be honest there are several reasons why many persons are not yet interested in Bitcoin investment. Some are valid reasons while most reasons are procrastination. I will mention this in my next topic so that we wont have a wrong perception on those who have not yet invested in Bitcoin.

D best way to go about dis na to make sure sey you let ur close friends know about ur involvement in Bitcoin and try talk dem into it. D reason na so dat none of dem go fit blame you tomorrow sey why you nor tell dem wen you hit am big from ur involvement in Bitcoin. People like to blame ordas for their misfortune. Na wetin me I do wen I started and none of dem go get dat boldness to sey I nor tell dem years ago.

@B-BossMan first and foremost, you need to understand that their is a way a human brain is wired, if for any reason you have always work hard for everything you have all your life and nobody has ever given you something for free, if you tell such person that they are giving free food or money across the street, he will see you as a joker, because he believes that nothing is given for free.

That's how it is even as a Bitcoin investor, most of these guys believes that it's only true hard work they can earn a decent living or grow rich, they actually don't know that the rich remains rich because they usually makes their money work for them.
These hard workers has believed that they will only get rich by working more harder, because that's all they are used to their whole life, so you telling them otherwise makes no sense too them, so I would advice that in such case, if they aren't listening, just withdraw, and besides it's not good to be telling someone like a total novice to invest in Bitcoin because if anything happens to his investment, you will be the first person he is going to lay the blame on.

It's actually not easy to tell someone about bitcoin, especially someone who hasn’t heard anything about bitcoin before. Regardless of what you will tell them, they won’t agree with what you are trying to impart to them. However, don’t advise anyone to invest in bitcoin but rather educate them, let them know the risk involved in bitcoin investment before they invest in it, so that if anything happens to their money, they already know that something like that will happen, but with time and patience, they will definitely make money out of it.
