Bitcoin transactions always slow. I prefer to use enother coins for transactions. For example, you buy Eherium Classic, than do transaction and after buy bitcoin again.

you might want to check the mempool next time first before sending your tx. https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#1,24h
also add a bit more fee to get your tx faster through, check this https://bitcoinfees.21.co/api/v1/fees/recommended

I have been waiting for confirmation on a transaction since july23th and i also have a big transaction waiting for confirmation but it is *** RBF Flagged ***.

An RBF flagged transaction (Replace-By-Fee) can be 'pumped' with a second transaction to increase the fee.

I use armory ,when i go to VIABTC and type in the transaction-id it says transaction is already confirmed. Why isnt it showing in my armory then?
Plz help me im worried something is wrong.

If viaBTC says your transaction already is confirmed, it most probably is.
I would suggest you head over to a block explorer (e.g. blockchain.info or blockchair) and enter your transaction id there. If it shows confirmed, it is confirmed and you don't have to worry.

Do you have core running and synced? Armory requires core to be downloaded and fully synced to show the current status of your tx's / balance.

Then, read the previous replies.
Most of us had experienced a stuck transaction longer than 4 hours and it's pretty normal during busy days of the week or different factors.

Please stop replying to a week-old thread with a generic response like that, it's nonsense.

my transactions on etherscan already 1 day ago unfinished (pending)
its estimation time is not clear, because it increases every minute.
I have asked their marriage but they are only bialng to raise the cost of GAS. but I use 50GWEI.

But man ethereum has nothing to do with Bitcoin. Ether txs where congested because of a Chinese exchange Fcoin made a voting system to list through deposits. One deposit equaled to 1 vote so most of coins promoters where massively depositing to get their coin listed.

Regarding Bitcoin I don't really know what the issue could be. I did a Transaction yesterday and took me.like 20minutes to confirm.

I send a very small amount of coins to a friend to "demo" Bitcoin, today < SegWit to SegWit address > and the transaction

went through within a few minutes at a very low fee, so everything seems to be normal now.  Wink

What you are telling is about todays network position, and OP started the thread for July 3rd transaction and it got confirmed long back. So i think this thread should be closed so that unwanted messages should not be posted.

i got my 0.32 btc today while i withdraw it from an exchange last yesterday funny because i badly need the cash yesterday which is why i quickly send some money to cash out. all the hours of waiting and so i figured to send out ETH instead and my eth arrived in less than 10 minutes, i cashed it out and sit back to my job without worries.

It actually depends on the volume or weight of transaction. The more the transaction that is being process, the more time you need to wait and also depends on the price you paid for that transaction. That is very similar to ETH blockchain. Because of huge number of users to its blockchain, the transaction time taking longer and also asking for a higher fees that usual.

probably so. a lot of us cashout yesterday and today too if you look at the trend.

It actually depends on the volume or weight of transaction. The more the transaction that is being process, the more time you need to wait

The transaction size/weight doesn't influence the amount of time it takes until your transaction is being included into a block.
All that matters is (1) the fee rate (sat/B) and (2) the amount of transactions in the mempool waiting to get confirmed.

Because of huge number of users to its blockchain, the transaction time taking longer and also asking for a higher fees that usual.

Nothing and noone is 'asking you' to pay a higher fee.
1 sat/B transactions do get accepted. If you aren't in a hurry and can eventually wait, the cheapest fee rate is enough to get a tx confirmed.

Often the network is loaded or a small commission can be selected. I once when the network was loaded translation took 11 days. But all is well received.

Not true, often, the network is very well-managed. Blocks have even been not full for the past few days, in the times I looked at, anyway. I know they have been spikes of over 5k transactions waiting to be confirmed, but this is perfectly normal even, especially when there have been few blocks found in a period of time... everything evening out when many blocks are found together. Bitcoin has been scaling properly according to demand. You've to be really unlucky to have to wait 11 days if you paid a fee that matched the state of the network, and with RBF and CPFP options, or even Antpool "accelerators", urgent txs can be pushed easily.

For a Segwit transaction that may be a bit surprising. that's why Segwit was made for fast and making micro transactions faster and cheaper. well i think Bitcoin's network is on a traffic again..

Since when was Segwit for micro transactions? LN is for micro transactions, not segwit itself. Also, to take advantage of segwit's faster speed, the wallet should be using a segwit address. Whereas the sender wallet is using a non-segwit address as seen on the transaction link.

You used a transaction fee that's pretty low, but that transaction would still get through. It's just that we currently have unconfirmed transactions on the blockchain that's higher than normal (currently at 9433 Unconfirmed Transactions as we speak). Make it a habit of how congested the blockchain is before deciding on your transaction fee; as times like this, you definitely would want to use higher fees.

No. I never get to put the transaction fees myself. I made the transaction from the cryptocurrency exchange - CoinBene!
Oh. Yikes. There's pretty much nothing you can do about it then. Anyway, your transaction now has 2 confirmations.

It's better to pay for a higher transaction fees a services will become faster we can be sure of our processing method that is safer and reliable we should give to our customers a good and nice accommodation for them always trust us.
It depends. You want it asap? Pay higher fees. You don't mind waiting longer? Pay lower fees.
The transaction finally went through after waiting for over 6 hours at last. Angry

Welp. Just take note that that's a huge downside on using exchanges. Most of the time you really can't choose your withdrawal fees on exchanges. So unfortunately that's something you just have to deal with.  Undecided At least you already have your BTC though.

I think there is a problem with your digital wallet or bitcoin wallet, maybe there is a maintenance or something that doing or updating in your online wallet. Don't be mad if there is problem in your digital wallet, it is online and anytime maybe there is malfunction. Always think positive, don't upset yourself. Use other online wallet than waiting for your digital wallet. There are many digital wallet, make sure that you are using legit online wallet.

You obviously don't know whats happening here. The transaction is already on the blockchain, just as OP said as he/she provided a transaction ID link. It's just not confirmed yet.

Same thing happened to me before and I just got tired of waiting so I just waited until it appeared on my wallet the next day. Control your emotions because worse things could happen if you cant control it or if you can contact the support that might help too.

I'm going through it fast. I am using a xapo wallet / Perhaps this is the reason. I and at the end of last year when the waiting queue for confirmation of the transaction was large there were no problems with transactions but the price was really high. I guess it always does. To win one, you have to sacrifice the other.

Patience, I have experienced this kind of thing, it takes 2 days to be able to transaction. these occurrences usually to holding dump from people, therefore transactions experience obstacles. Things like this serve to keep the price of coins in the market.
so be patient, your Bitcoin is sure to arrive.
