this is Ltc not Btc which is an altcoin called litecoin why you say it is BTC?

and litecoin price have always been moving up with bitcoin but with a little bit of delay and now we are seeing LTC price after that delay to react to bitcoin price movement.
and these rises int litecoin have always been mostly manipulations and pumps performed by the Chinese.
Thats what i just want to say to OP that it is not BTC but LTC/USD and as you said litecoin price is increasing its price and i dont know whats the true reason behind it and maybe theres whales who would like to pump and switch to litecoin thats why its tending to go up into this days.

You have to ask yourself: Is a 14 billion marketcap prone to manipulation? I would say yes, if you believe there are whales big enough for that. Im pretty sure there are very wealthy people out there, but it would take a big group of big whales in order to move the market at will and we would be looking at synchronized action.... very hard to pull. I think its just supply and demand and some manipulation.

I may think if the eth whale who place a buy wall over 2k btc isn't mean something for the price of ETH. It's will need over than a person for controlling 14 billion market capitalization. every whale had a thousand btc in their pouch.
