How can these pirate stuff create such a volatility?

Because he used OUR 500k BTC to crash the market, so that he could cause a panic and buy back coins cheaper on the further down slide......

Thats pretty impressive. But, we are in an unregulated market where, as i understand it right now, everybody with this abilities could initiate huge pump and dump scenarios, what in the end is a liquidity problem due to the low market cap. I wonder right now but never really looked into it, how a investment like this where nobody knows where exactly the money comes from gets a license or whatever to trade officially or is it a bogus exchange?.

However, situations like this will either proof botcoin solidity or its failing but also scare normal people where one more time the shady image is confirmed.

The only thing you addressed of mine was that I did not address one of your comments? Good Job.

And honestly, with the same proof you have of pirate being a ponzi, I could say that bitcoin magazines products are a cover for a bigger scam

Wow...nice job still avoiding the topic. LOL...good job buddy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

The topic that bitcoin magazine has failed to deliver when pirate hasn't? no I covered that one.

The topic of bitcoin magazine's business model vs pirate's business model and the transparency of both.

You don't know what pirate does but you have a pretty good idea what bitcoin magazine does.

That's what you failed to address. Cheesy
I have no idea what bitcoin magazine does, if the magazine was the main point I would think they would on time and the people that paid for them would have them.

If they can't afford to print magazines that people have paid for, what does that make them?
If they can afford to print the magazines that people have paid for, why don't people have them?

Yes you do know what bitcoin magazine does. They sell magazines. Pirate does what? Pay out interest?

LOL you are so ignorant to see the fact that there is a bigger level of transparency with bitcoin magazine and the people behind it than pirate. Cheesy Cheesy

You are so quick to believe that they just "sell magazines" I guess you must be a sucker. They are obviously going to run away with all the magazines and bitcoins and build a paper mache island as a tribute to Elvis. There is as much evidence of that as pirate running a ponzi.

Keep telling yourself that pirate isn't running a ponzi....i'm sure it is very therapeutic for those invested with him or a PPT.

At least I have faces that go along with bitcoin magazine and also personal information about Matthew and Vladimir. Pirate is a wussy having to hide behind his avatar.

Oh right he went to vegas...wow....lol

Every time, when I say something on this forum and it is immediately followed up by a personal attack, I know that I said something wise.

Lol, so you can attack pirate as much as you want, but get called up on scamming people yourself and its a personal attack?

I wonder if Bitcoin magazine cannot afford to print enough magazines for everyone that ordered one, sp they rely on new customers to pay for old customers magazines

♪~a ponzi ponzi ponzi ponzi....~♫

How is a delay on delivering a magazine a scam?

They have delivered and i believe they will.

At least we know their business model unlike Pirate's.

LOL!

BTW How many bitcoins did you send to pirate or a PPT?

Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
There are a fair few stories of people not getting their magazine, or ordering more than one and only getting one, There has only been one problem with pirate in 8 months, this one, and as you said of bitcoin magazine "They have delivered and i believe they will. ", Well pirate has always delivered (on time at that) and I believe he will, apart from that I was (mainly) joking about the 'scamming' part, just a reference to the fail of team ponzi yelling scam with no proof, but bitcoin magazines practises have been worse than pirate on all counts from my pov.

My balance is, my business :p, lets just say 4 figures, none of which will be sold when I get them.

I like how you didn't even address my comment about the business model of bitcoin magazine vs. pirate's and the transparency of us knowing what the bitcoin magazine is doing to turn a profit. Good job. Selective reading I see. The sign of a true follower of pirate.....or i.e. a sheep. lol Cheesy

Yet I still don't have issue 1 Roll Eyes.  Nice proof.  I want to read the magazine, that's the problem.  Also, every other fucking thread has had offtopic posts about pirate, I think this one can afford a few about your magazine.  I have sent yet another email to your support staff and if they don't give me a better clue about when it will be shipped I will ask for a refund.  But if I can't get my full BTC amount back, you will be no different than pirate in my eyes (assuming he defaults).  If he doesn't default, you will be much worse.

There are only two kinds of people "invest" into ponzi:

1. Suckers, who do not get it.
2. Scammers (fraudsters), who want to "get in early" and liberate money off of suckers.

There are no other options. Now note how many of self-confessed scammers (as per above classification) are on bitcointalk.

these threads are hilarious, honestly, when bitcoins up everyones all buying cars this to the moon that but as soon as it starts dropping a few dollars from its 2012 high everyone is thinking the worst

regardless of the price going down and the ridiculous volatility there are people out there who run operations on bitcoin, this isnt the first time price has gone down and im sure it wont be the last, but also the latter probably not the last time its going to go up either

I for one am making money either way but am holding a big sum of BTC cause i know it will bounce back, someone said yesterday about the shakedown and all the weak hands are leaving, I still see that as whats going on, all the weak are stirring up forum fud  Tongue

You can gain on it when you jump in early. That what most people hope for I think.
Just like the bitcoin imo.

A symptom does not define the cause.  You "gain on it when you jump in early" when you are offered options for startup companies for example.  I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir here but clearly it needs to be said again: the difference between a ponzi and bitcoin is that bitcoin is machinery that massively reduces the cost and time for international money transfers (and other advantages) whereas a ponzi adds no economic value to the larger system.

I think bitcoin is doomed (in the traditional sense) to redo the last 500 years of economic development but in "fast-forward".  We'll see all the same mistakes.  But the good thing is the tape stops right before currencies were divorced from externally enforced scarcity, and starts recording an unknown future.  Regardless, its a great education!

Not at all like "the bitcoin."
Bitcoin has many valuable functions regardless of whether people make money by realizing that before other people, and investing. That said - it's still early.

I still don't understand how people keep falling for these schemes. I think they all know it's a scam but they think they'll get their money out before everyone else so it won't be them losing out. Then they get butthurt when they lose out.
