I don't think Jack should apologize because Twitter is his...
Jack should do that because I have noticed Trump using Twitter for black campaigns and hate speech. Twitter is one of the biggest free speech media in the world but for Trump, he should be banned from Twitter. Cheesy

This should not be a big issue since Dorsey can do whatever he wants with his centralized platform. If you love Trump, simply uninstall twitter and use another platform. I heard Parler is a good alternative, but "canceled" by amazon et al. <- this is the real problem because of the antitrust act.

I don't want to comment anything on Donald Trump. Whether he deserved the ban or not is entirely another subject. My problem here is that Dorsey and his ultra-leftist moonbat friends such as Vijaya Gadde doesn't have any problem with people like Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Mahathir Mohamad, who make genocidal threats through Twitter. Once in a while Twitter deletes these posts, but these people are still having their Twitter accounts.

This is what Mr. Mahathir Mohamad tweeted:

Quote
Muslims have a right to be angry and to kill millions of French people for the massacres of the past

If any of you feel that this is not as bad as Trump's tweets, then you are downright retarded.

Kind of agree (although not convinced by the moonbat bit). But yes, the reason for the Twitter ban is obviously self-interest. Dorsey would only have blocked Trump once he felt it was in his personal (and Twitter's) best interest to do so, influenced no doubt by how his actions or lack thereof would be perceived by the incoming Biden team. The fact that Erdoğan etc are not banned speaks volumes. Anything about Trump being banned because his tweets incite violence is a smokescreen. Whether Trump tweets do or don't incite violence is from this perspective moot, and has zero to do with the reasons for the ban.

Once this is over and done with Twitter will no longer exist. All sorts of alternative pop up's like powping where everone is his own moderator

I'm sorry, but I disagree. Twitter will exist as Myspace exists
Heck i did not know Myspace still exist

Edit
Did not facebook replace myspace?

While some conservatives may leave the platform, I highly doubt this is going to be the end of the platform as we know it. Maybe Parler and some of these other conservative networks will gain a little bit of steam, but it’s not going to be able to take over twitter as they’re really only catering to conservatives.

I really hated Jack Dorsey just bringing up Bitcoin randomly — guy is only doing it cause he knows he can make some good money on it if people use his Cash app to buy it/sell it / etc.

Jack Dorsey (head of Twitter) makes excuses about blocking Trump.

I read the big thread and highlighted the most important points from what they said:
- He's sorry that this happened.
- It had to be done.
- Heated controversies on the Internet can lead to violence in real life.
- If you don't like the rules, you can leave.
- I do not believe that the act of blocking was coordinated. Everyone decided for himself
- We need to take a critical look at the discrepancy between platform policies and legislation.
- More transparency is needed.
- I love bitcoin because it is freedom.
- I am trying to contribute to the development of the decentralized Internet (in this place an advertisement for the project is inserted)
- Purpose: to disarm as many people as possible so that there is peace in the world.
- The Internet is a tool for achieving world peace.

The Twitter head's statements are very vague and vague. In some places, they sound mocking (for example, at the moment of advertising your own product in the form of a link to an account without a description).

However. You can enjoy it here: https://tinyurl.com/y339nkmk
