This was his last rant in Shasan's Lending service thread.
It got deleted, but it's in my archives. It's kinda amazing, I don't know what this guy is using, but it's good stuff!
I think the guy has bought/stolen the account that's why the guy doing this behavior. The guy posted a long story on my thread which has been deleted by the guy as you have already mentioned. And it is obvious that the guy is lying.
I agree , the emphasis on "This is Hero User" is another sign of deceit imo. I don't ever see people mentioning forum rank. The terminology sounds like someone who bought the "Hero" account and has that mindset while posting.

I agree it's not an logical explanation. As I said I'll wait to see if he shows up again and shed a bit more light on that. I don't think the negative feedback is so big issue to be fixed. Just ranting in the trust feedback is not the right thing to do.
With the evidence and requests for him to sign messages from his other addresses presented in this thread, I doubt if he will show up to prove his "innocence"
This was his last rant in Shasan's Lending service thread. Nothing in it clears his negative reputation in any way except attacking people who left him negative feedback.

this is/was my old address from my multi-bit Classic Wallet
i have moved all funds as well as switched into more modern / better wallets after 2016
and burned the wallet as well for security reasons...
He knows how to burn the wallet, but he doesn't know how to sign messages properly. Is this some new breed of geeks?

Nope.
Sorry mate, impossible...
Okay

For security reasons, feel free to send me a PM for extra confirmations / verifications if wanted...

Burning a wallet is the opposite of securing it.
Well, just playing devil's advocate here, he may have meant security in another context and not necessarily security of the wallet/address itself.  By that I mean it might be an address he no longer wants to have anything to do with for whatever reason, i.e., he wouldn't want to be caught with the keys to it...again, for whatever reason.

I think the negative trust Jannn got is valid, even if it's harsh.  Those kinds of tags are exactly what Vod would leave to warn the community of a potential scammer.  It's absolutely true that an account waking up after a long period of time and immediately asking for an unsecured loan is sketchy, and if you can't sign a message from an address you staked on the forum?  Double sketchy IMO.

I assume you guys were right, he is maybe trying to pretend that he has control over the address so he can fool someone to lend him money.
That doesn't make sense: why would anyone ask for money on an address they don't own?

Am very sure Jannn's account isn't under the original owner

1. If some of you recall, May, June, July 2018 was a time when there were massive account hacks by someone who would change emails using a temporarily service known as yopmail.

I know this because I was a victim too

and?

2. Posting style changes immediately after the password change after a 4-month posting gap - https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/jannn-814754

3. They also tried to ask for a loan before the hack. This is the post the current owner doesn't want us to see because it contain an address of probably the first owner

Burning a wallet is the opposite of securing it.

Listen to this guy:
Sigh... why delete a wallet instead of moving it aside and keeping the old copy just in case?  You should never delete a wallet.
Unless, of course, it wasn't his wallet to begin with.

The problem is that he is asking for non-collateral loans, probably hoping that "his" address can fool anybody.
That's why he got negative trust feedback, not because of that address staking.

Yeah that's why I made this thread to not derail the Addy staking one.

I did check his previous tradings and he has done this before and paid back the loan. I would give the guy a chance at least to explain what's going on.

At least he can provide proof of ownership of the account, like sign a message from the vanity address above.

Leaving negative feedback back to those who tag you won't do any good for your situation.
Let's find a better solution.

Mostly scammers wake up and ask for loans and staking new address without signature from an old one, so tagging old account without activity in the past few year who woke up and the first thing was to ask for loan is a common practice until the owner of the account provide proof that he is the creator of the account. You have a chance to get the tags removed.

I suggest Jannn to remove his negative feedback he left to DS_ and icopress and focus on providing proof that he is the original owner.

Addresses you previously owned :

Can you provide a sign message from this address > 1HALVEAuiBkHhdJy4CZUDxg7H4cVFbrSrY used here
It's a vanity address and you should have access to the private keys yourself.
