Makoto is an investor of ripples even before so this kind of statement is not surprising. Beside that he doesn't represent the whole Japan meaning that the Title should be " Japanese Supports XRP" and not "JAPAN". XRP is still a great project but shouldn't take this news as a reason to invest if you aren't ready for what's coming.

He's an XRP investor. I would be surprised if he doesn't show support.

XRP has a multi-country real-life infrastructure and usage, and it will survive the SEC case and so on. Still, I don't like it as it's centralized.

I have been hearing about Japan when it comes to Ripple. I don't know if one investor's view about a project is the view of a hold nation that is more than 150 million people. I know most of these XRP army want the project to succeed but there are a lot of red flag when you listen to ripple side of things.

Not bad. but I don't like the "cause" why he doesn't sell his XRP. not because of technology or usecases perspective, but because of the large fan base? c'mon man. Indeed the fan base is quite important, but I guess if his opinion on technology was like that, I wouldn't support it

Japan Support XRP
Makoto, a Japanese entrepreneur and XRP investor told ...

One guy is not a country. Japan will follow whatever USA will dictate. All securities USA will delist from their exchanges will also get delisted in Japan and EU and all countries where USA have influence. Rulles are simple. When you start a security you have to launch it by SEC rules and not by your own personal rules like Ripple did.

Makoto, a Japanese entrepreneur and XRP investor told Coin base that he is not selling his XRP share. There is a couple of reason for that,
the most common is that it's a popular crypto coin in Japan. Kayamori also said, "XRP has a strong global fanbase, and a lot of people see this lawsuit as an attack on virtual currencies in general".
Soon the XRP will gain a good high and the predicted price for the XRP is $1 in the upcoming time, but the current market situation is very un-stable and un-predictiable.

I like that XRP has a wide usage around the globe, a lot of people strongly believe in it

I also firmly believe that XRP can hit a price tag of $ 1 or more. but it is not easy to get there. should be with such a huge community, XRP can do that easily. but why every time you want to go up to the highest price always fail ?!
there seems to be a party that doesn't want XRP to fly to the moon.
Well there are reasons why xrp cant reach $1 value sooner. Its because of some exchanges delisted it and the issue about the lawsuit that affect the price of xrp.

Is that the only reason why it's hard for XRP to go up, sir?
I'm not really sure if the lawsuit case affects XRP's price movements sir. which exchanges are delisting XRP?

Kucoin made a good decision not to delist XRP on their exchange when the news of the lawsuit of SEC  to the Ripple team comes out on the public, right now its making a gain again and proving its worth even have campaign its helping xrp community to build it up again and make it worth it even more
Several other exchanges also did not delete the XRP token permanently, because it was only made in the form of suspension, and this was only intended to maintain the reputation of an exchange at that time, even though now the Ripple token is more valuable than ever.

I think that was a good move from KuCoin, and the exchange has been really supportive with XRP even before the lawsuit happens actually. Those other exchanges could've atleast done something to keep the XRP holders stay and don't let them sell their bags due to panic.

XRP is doing better right now, yes.

For awhile, because at the moment XRP is slowly dumping again, hopefully this is just a correction of the major pump that has happen today.
We have to observe the market, we can't conclude that XRP is already back with just few days of pump, it needs to be stable first.

Well, even with the lawsuit I still know people who hold dear to their XRP. Is this wrong, I think the answer depends on what their long term goal is. XRP indeed has a large userbase and it might persevere despite the lawsuit. It is at all possible that it could reach its ATH... and for people like me, I have no problem with the crypto itself, its all about usability at the end of the day, the name of the coins doesn't matter!

Buying XRP on kucoin as they also have a trading campaign to all users trading xrp

It basically implies, that regardless of the issue many actually have faith in XRP.

Truth be told it surge by 81.2% in the week ending the 31st January.

Even in our country there are people who are supporting XRP despite the existing lawsuit. I just hope that the current pump on XRP is not temporary. A lot of people had been jumping on XRP to take advantage of the pump, but this is scary at the same time because the price can go down anytime.

Still have good news with this coins after delisting from many exchange market, but this correct information or not when have companies wanna support with ripple after delisting from many exchange market and investigating by SEC commission, I think some project will getting careful by adopting some coin during have bigger problem, I think this way did by ripple how to get back investor trusted after ripple coin dump last moths and now still have lower price.
I'm not sure the news was made by the Ripple team, I don't even see the news as big news, it's just ordinary news that happens to be a lot of people sharing to many groups and think it's good news.
Cryptocurrency is very sensitive to news, even news that is not important can sometimes make the price of a coin go up, such as news about Elon Musk writing Bitcoin on his twitter account.

Well, we can't blame him, he is an investor of XRP so it's just normal to see that he is bias with XRP.
Thats true , and not only in xrp but in general. If you're holding a certain coin its quite obvious that you'll going to support it and make a positive statement because you're a believer.

I also firmly believe that XRP can hit a price tag of $ 1 or more. but it is not easy to get there. should be with such a huge community, XRP can do that easily. but why every time you want to go up to the highest price always fail ?!

well, it's only natural that he supports XRP, because I think he's a big investor for that. however, I agree with the statement which says that XRP can go up to $ 1, but I feel that it can happen when this problem is solved. however, in this condition, I think it's still impossible.
Like this time, if XRP price was growing a lot and he will be feeling good. The ripple investors are arguing to safe the demand from the crypto market. They try to make the investors and supporters feel confidence with what happened with the crypto market. This is not something new in crypto history.
This what we have called that as shilling. The big-name will always try to do that. Even ripple executives are always shilling its garbage coin.

They believe that XRP team can get out of this situation. Actually, XRP is really good for payment purposes because of its low fee as compared to bitcoin. However, the XRP team should resolve their issues first with SEC.

According to my friend who lives in Japan, there are indeed many large banks in Japan investing in XRP. So it's only natural that Japan supports XRP,
because their money is in XRP. Since no big investor wants to lose, that's why the article in the opening post doesn't change my view of XRP. I still
consider XRP as a risky asset to buy, because negative news related to XRP has also spread in many articles. So there's no way I would dare to take
the risk of investing in XRP.

With many investors waiting for this XRP saga, I believe the team is doing their best to rectify this problem.

The XRP project is a very expensive project and the team is very strong. For a long time, this project has been able to hold its position firmly in the market. But the current situation of this company is not so good. Everyone should stay away from investing in this project until there is new good news. There is no barrier to investing in this project when the good news comes. But given the current situation, it would be much wiser not to invest here.

So this guy invests in something not because it has a use or a groundbreaking technology but because he believes in the dedication of fanboys, who recently became bagholders.

That's a great strategy! Cheesy

In all seriousness, I don't see why anybody would listen to this guy.

If they did after that crashed, for sure they are enjoying now. those who managed to buy after that are simply enjoying the
pumped now.

For them who sell too early  chasing time again as the value was already pump too hard, placing an entry might need another good research

As you can be trapped  if ever another SEC issue or something like that happened, knowing
the nature of this coin and those who behind it, they are good in playing the emotion of those
weak holders.

This is a good news for XRP holders as there are still big investors who are willing to support XRP even after facing some serious problems. Hitting a $1 price for XRP is not impossible knowing that they have the capability to do it especially if they can put and end to their current problems.

In my case also, the price of XRP as of this moment is very affordable and it can surely give us a good amount of profit if we will continue to buy it but it will only  happen if XRP can turn the tide in their favor. But I am sure that the team behind XRP are already doing what they need to do in order to regain their rankings.

Most likely, Ripple will be forced to leave the territory of America. Because of this, everything that has been achieved will be canceled, and the team will have to start from the very beginning. Can you imagine how long it will take? If large investors are ready to invest in XRP, then only if the judicial story is successful.

Japan and Makoto consider XRP to be a cryptocurrency because it decentralized in nature, its partnership with reputable before now, and the security with the innovation may provide to their country. However, Makoto has no right to said the attack on XRP by the US SEC which XRP was guilty of was an attack on all cryptocurrency because XRP has no benefit to the crypto community but to offer service to the centralized organization and if I am not right to crypto communities would have supported the coin during its trial.

I believe that XRP will come out victorious in that lawsuit case filed by SEC and despite all the negative attacks there are people still holding their coins without riding the panic selling by the majority of it. It's true that lawsuit was already a threat and attack of crypto currencies as a whole. With that support from Japan, we have high hopes in the future for XRPs.

Makoto, a Japanese entrepreneur and XRP investor told Coin base that he is not selling his XRP share. There is a couple of reason for that,
What @Makoto said, it's his right and decision in this matter, indeed XRP has experienced its heyday with the highest price, that's right.

The problem about xrp, in my opinion it is very difficult to recover in the crypto market in the near future, need to reorganize the management of Ripple.

They are going through the current times of trouble since the allegations against xrp by the SEC and the US Securities Commission at that time "despite objections from xrp" by publishing that they have done something bad outside the exchange with a fantastic price of 1.3 billion more.

This is where the problem about Ripple arises, so that many investors come out and switch to other coins, also many who used to believe that XRP is developing well, it's the opposite.

If XRP's price is to increase it will take time to complete that period, because the confidence in the market has diminished, doubts arise, The problem here is not because of xrp, Japan and investors, trust in the world crypto market that determines the current price of xrp, not predictions.

XRP support in Asia is still crazy tbh. Recently, this pairing got a huge up boost since the exchange which is based in Singapore made a giveaway capitalizing on the delisting of XRP from other platforms. This could be one of the few things why XRP isn't doomed yet and has recovered by quite some margin lately

We are talking about some people who would not be against XRP in Japan, this is not all of Japan that doesn't make sense. I personally think that it is obvious XRP is not going to be doing great anytime soon unless they fix their problems. Obviously they are in a big trouble for now, but I am sure they are going to probably fix it one day soon enough.

I am not saying let's all crash xrp and make it worth zero but it would be smart to get out right now, it already went down so much during whole investigation process and the news, think about how much it would go down if Ripple gets banned to work in USA ever, if they do get a punishment like that, it would be quite impossible for XRP to ever recover. I wouldn't hold a single dollar worth of XRP right now if I were you, getting out would be smarter, Japanese businessman will not be saving the price.

This is the opinion of individuals in Japan. However, I agree that over time, ripple will regain its position after the leaders of Ripple Labs pay off large penalties. Apparently, many people believe in a favorable outcome of the SEC lawsuit, since this coin no longer falls in price and even rose slightly in a relatively stable market.
In some countries, ripple is very popular as a means of payment. Some confidence in her is inspired by her support for the banking system, and she practically did not react to this legal scandal.

This is just an entrepreneur in Japan, he cannot represent the whole of Japan, for the XRP cryptocurrency, he holds the cryptocurrency, of course he also recognizes XRP. For XRP, the price of XRP can only be seen after the SEC issue is resolved.
it's clearly stated by OP if he was a part of ripple investors. That makes sense if he was shilling for his own invement. I do believe if he has gotten very big lose due to the dump that happened with ripple.
This is an old trick that has been doing by so many investors. Even the ripple executives are still shilling for his ripple coin.

It doesn't matter if there are supporters in Japan that will keep XRP into their portfolios. The only matter is that XRP is badly affected in the US. And that's why many exchanges are delisting it for their traders in the US.
A few entrepreneurs and investors in Japan doesn't literally say that the whole country of Japan supports it. The title is quite misleading and a reader that will just come might expect that it's entirely Japan supporting it.

Sure, XRP has a lot of global fanbase but we all know that you really can't compare XRP to any cryptocurrency out there. It's a centralized virtual currency so it doesn't really affect the cryptocurrency ecosystem in general. I think he is just trying to exaggerate this because he's desperate for a comeback, he's an investors so it's expected but the damage has already been done.

I was not surprised to know that Japan supports XRP, because Japan is one of those friendly to crypto. Even in Japan a lot of merchants accept
crypto payments. Including several banks in Japan that support XRP. As it seems, Japan does not care about the XRP case that was prosecuted
by the SEC, maybe because XRP has been around for a long time in the crypto world. Still has some pretty strong fanbases in various countries
around the world, therefore XRP is unlikely to die. It is possible that the price of XRP will skyrocket if the court finds XRP innocent.

There's no problem with sharing this news but I suggest you change the title, it's not actually JAPAN as nation that supports XRP, it's just one person or a group of investors supports XRP, and this is a good news for XRP as despite of the legal battle, there are still some investors that XRP will win in this case and the project will continue to exist and develop.
Of course, to make the news more marketable and able to influence many people, the news will be made in such a way as to make it appear as a big institution to make many people believe more. at least it could be a resistance where the news so far continues to corner, which is clearly not good for xrp itself.
If you look at the market cap of XRP, it is still quite good and indicates that it is still trusted even though the ranking is shifted by others.

Just to be clear, the market is always unstable and unpredictable, and just to clarify things, Japan itself does not support XRP, nor the government, entrepreneurs such as this guy definitely supports XRP but not the country 'Japan', I do agree that the price would reach $1 in the future for sure.

Japan has supported XRP. This is definitely good news for XRP.
I invest in cryptocurrency by visiting the cryptocurrency market.
I also think the future of XRP is bright.
Don't be too hasty in judging when someone is still holding XRP tokens at this time, because it can't be mentioned entirely by Japanese citizens or the Japanese government in general, try to think more logically in this case.

If someone or investors are supporting XRP it is a good news to us because even this have facing the issue right now they have people or country who support and we are blessed to have that as investors of the XRP I dod not like to see the price od the XRP to dump because it is not good for us if the price dump because we will lost money for sure.

Your topic sounds like XRP is backed by the country Japan where as the speech is from a Japanese man who is just XRP fan, the way you out the news together is very misleading, anyways it's good that XRP is a top altcoin and those who can't handle losses already dump their coins, the remaining investors are true XRP believers

I agree with his opinion US SEC was after all cryptocurrencies in general, but for now, SEC was focus on Ripple's XRP coin because XRP is one of the top-ranking cryptocurrencies today, And if the SEC was successfully destroyed the XRP I think there will be next or another cryptocurrency that may be targeted again. by the way it's just my opinion and I'm not so sure about it.

If I'm not mistaken Japan and UK are the country that XRP people are looking to move because of a strong regulatory framework on the US. Japan didn't look at XRP as securities, as compare to the US.

So it make sense for this Japanese investors not to sell his stash of XRP because they think otherwise. We don't know, maybe after the lawsuit, XRP team will move to Japan because they are welcome with open arms.

The title is a bit misleading. A single person (Makoto) does not not represent Japan in general. It is his personal opinion and decision regarding his support to XRP and not Japan. I believe he is just trying to shill XRP despite the issue XRP facing right now. This kind of news is not a big deal anymore.

They trust XRP and even though they are experiencing some problems right now, there will be loyal supporters of XRP and they believe that the coin will rise up in the future.

We can't blame them if they really want XRP to hold since its their own money and to be honest, I don't really think that the coin is dead. It just went go down very hard because of the news and the case they are facing right now and if they succeed on that then XRP is back on track again. Not a XRP holder here anymore (I sold my very few holdings already for short term profits) but I believe that XRP will still be on top despite the challenges that they are facing. One thing is that they are already challenges like this throughout the years.

Please change your subject title though because its misleading.

This is one man doing the talk, why said japan supports XRP as if it's Japan digital currency? There may be many XRP fans in Japan like the man said but your point is talking about two different things here, there are many XRP fans in other countries as well and this won't safe XRP from the lawsuit

Maybe what he did is because he wants to get more support for XRP, so he invites more people to invest back on XRP. Without any update from the team, it is hard for XRP to get a new investor because the investor does not want to invest in a coin that will not have a future. They prefer to search for the other coin which has the potential to increase.

For all those who aren't ready to see their money go way down this isn't a green light to start investing in XRP, I believe that those who are still holding their XRP are true XRP fans, don't take this news as a reason to invest if you aren't ready for what's coming, things might be more cloudy for XRP in coming days as the lawsuit still stands, you've be warned

Japan isn't the home of XRP fan base only, we have XRP fans all over the world and SEC was able to go after XRP because it's centralized project, for how big the project is means it can get out of SEC trouble one way or the other, we shall see who will win the war, SEC or XRP only time will tell eventually

please Don't Mislead people because of your title and when checking the Body it implicates different thing.

That Makoto don't represent the whole Japan meaning that the Title should be " Japanese Supports XRP" and not "JAPAN" because that Implies misleading title just to Gain viewer.

That is a statement that XRP is not really dead and will never be dead knowing that there still plenty of major investors of this top rank cryptos who is firm in hodling their xrp and seeing them make us small time xrp hodler to have a more faith and trust on it.

Well, we can't blame him, he is an investor of XRP so it's just normal to see that he is bias with XRP.

of course not everyone panic, reason why XRP still has a good value until now, and the lawsuit is only in the USA, it does not kill the entire project because this is a global one, however, we will see some decline of support as some exchanges have delisted XRP already.
