E-commerce giant Rakuten has announced today that it has publicly launched their own crypto exchange supporting BTC, ETH and BCH. This is a pretty progressive move for the country. They're also taking precautionary measures as an exchange and have enlisted Ciphertrace for anti-money laundering protections.

That will be great news for us because now, we have another crypto exchange, and it's ready to compete with the old exchanges. But there are many things that Rakuten needs to do to compete with a competitor, especially Rakuten is a newcomer in the crypto exchange. But if they can prove that they are very good, and fhey can give good services to the member, I am sure that Rakuten will be a new exchange can compete with the other exchanges. I think they can gain more people to join if they have good services. In the other thing, they are supporting cryptocurrency, and they will help cryptocurrency to grow more in Japan, and that will help the adoption too.

I would normally criticize exchanges allowing for forkcoin scams but if you think about it, they are platforms that allow people to dump them after all. Same goes for Vitalikcoin. I just feel bad for the little guy that's new and decides to buy the assorted altcoin instead of Bitcoin because "it's cheaper and has higher ROI potential" which is the reason anyone still buys altcoins, to bad in 99% of cases they are hodling permabags.
