not at all, you can have an antivirus for these situations and also when you download the torrent from a known source which is a known website like piratebay or kat.cr and also download it from a known uploader you can be sure there is no bad thing going on with it. because if there is a virus inside the torrent file will be removed fast.

Eh...pirated software or videos often have encrypted botnets attached to the files. So it's not so good unless you just have some throwaway laptop that you can do all that sketchy stuff on and not worry while you keep your desktop or main computer safe. Really not worth pirating anything imo

If you want to make a quick buck with Java, hop onto codementor.io, apply as a mentor, and you'll get far more than the $6 or so you are charging after your first session (BTC payout). Or, do some work for someone that needs a program written, and have them pay in BTC.
