It will be because you have several inputs making up your total balance... each input will add 148 bytes to your transaction size when you want to spend coins...

at the moment, recommended fees are over 350 sats/byte... and getting close to 400 sats/byte (https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ and https://btc.com/stats/unconfirmed-tx)

148 bytes * 350 sats/byte = 51,800 sats (0.00051800 btc) fee PER INPUT. which at current rates is almost USD$1.50 per input... (Then you have 34 bytes PER OUTPUT + a fixed 10 bytes per transaction...)

If you have 5 inputs in your wallet... that is currently going to cost you ~USD$7.50 to use them all in a transaction (ie. spending all your coin), because Jaxx doesn't let you specify your fees, it sets them for quick confirmations by setting them at the recommended levels.

Okay so all of my transactions are confirmed but the spendable amount is the same...

any Ideas ?

Then it comes down to the number of transactions you have. You say you have 3 in total, and I need to know where do these transactions come from. If for example they come from mining, or from faucets then they have quite some inputs and the fee is correct to be 8 Euros in such case. If this is not the case the only option is to contact Jaxx.io support and tell them your problem.

A glitch? okay.

there where 3 transactions. So do not wonder if the amount of the tx id down here is only about 23$.
That is the tx id : 3ea546a91c7cd737c4d48ef1895b41ff09a460f6a78156c0212e1636903795e7

All of the transactions had bout 225 bytes. Nothing special right?

A glitch or it is because you have 0.008 btc unconfirmed yet because of the extremely low fees that you have paid. Paying 65 satoshi/byte fees you have a big risk of your transaction not confirming when the official recommended fee is near 500 satoshi/byte now.
So I say this second possibility has higher chances of being true, while Jaxx wallet cannot spent an unconfirmed parent.

I recommend you use the Viabtc transaction accelerator website in order to have a chance. Check it every first minute of every hour to make a spot for your transaction.

Okay , now I see what I did wrong.

Thanks a lot , specially for the link. I will try.

Have a nice day dude.

Hey guys,

so I transferred about 28€ on my JAXX BTC Wallet. JAXX is showing the Balance correctly but the amount of spendable cash is wrong.
I thought maybe some fees but its about 8€?
Are fees that high nowadays?

Here is a picture of it

hope you can help me.

thanks!

I believe is a glitch on Jaxx wallet as there are being many lately but to be sure care to post here the transaction id so we can judge if it is big in bytes and therefore resulting in high fees or not ?

Post the tx id and many more people will help here.

I checked the bitcoin address from the pic but it shows 0 transactions.
