Some hints for the next time: don't offer to send first right away. That makes you look vulnerable and prone to be scammed. Second: use escrow. There are lots of users doing escrow (even I would do it, if I'm asked). Some for free and some for a small fee.

Using escrow is a must if there's no trust being established before.
