WASHINGTON — In a long-sought victory for the gay rights movement, the Supreme Court ruled on Friday that the Constitution guarantees a right to same-sex marriage.

Justice Anthony M. Kennedy wrote the majority opinion in the 5 to 4 decision. He was joined by the court’s four more liberal justices.

The decision, the culmination of decades of litigation and activism, came against the backdrop of fast-moving changes in public opinion, with polls indicating that most Americans now approve of same-sex marriage.

I don't think this guy is serious, I think he is just trolling us.  Look at his avatar!  Are there still people out there like this?  I don't meet any of them, but I guess there must be.  This is why I like to live in a blue state where the necks are not red.  People don't care if oyu live your life, they tend to their own life without trying to force an antiquated set of rules that they themselves do not follow.

And I was shocked to see that 4 of the justices feel that the constitutional right to freedom of religion is no longer something that this county has.  Think about it , and how close we are to a religious state, and it is really scary.
if i got him wrong i am sorry if not then DIE plus there is no god Wink Wink

Homosexuality is like albinism but apparently more common. Just a natural 'aberration' to the norm, and nobody's 'fault' or 'decision.'

If it makes you angry, blame your god ...

The deciding vote came from the Associate Justice Anthony Kennedy. He was appointed by President Ronald Reagan in 1988 and was supposed to be a conservative member of the SCOTUS, and was initially against the legalization of gay marriage. But recently, he defected to the pro-Democrat faction, as evident from his vote in many of the recent judgements.
