The high rise of joblessness in most African countries or Asian countries is becoming alarming. This is what most country governments are unable to put a stop to due to the rising population growth in the country, the recession, inflation, and technological advancement.

For someone(most especially the youths), not to be affected by being jobless, they should upskill themselves because nobody will come for them and their family to feed and cater for them all in today society that everyone is managing, cutting their coat according to their size so that they will not fall into depression of not being able to provide for themselves.

Unemployment, a negative indicator of the economy, and a factor that has a negative impact on the economy. Unemployment in normal countries is a big burden on the budget, when part of the money from the taxes of citizens has to be given to people who do not bring taxes, and not to solve real problems. But in the developed world, the problem of unemployment, at least today, is more a “tribute to fashion” than a real problem. The biggest problem is unemployment in poor countries, where for one worker (who brings income), there are 2-3 or more people he has to support. The third option is rogue countries with totalitarian regimes (North Korea, Iran, Russia,...) where on the one hand there is no unemployment (at least according to propaganda), but the level of income of “employed citizens” is low, to put it mildly, if not to say “work for food”.
Now there is a very unpleasant picture in the Chinese market - the collapse of the economy, the collapse and bankruptcy of companies, leads to a huge increase in the unemployed, provided that the state is trying hard to hide the real picture, doing its best to subsidize production to support the economy, but China's reserves are not eternal, and the outflow of capital, investment and withdrawal of production in other countries, this process (unemployment) only worsens. The problem of totalitarian regimes with growing internal problems is that, according to the common practice of such regimes, they can, to divert the attention of their own people, start a “small victorious war” somewhere on their borders. And given the very strong ties in the modern world, this could escalate into a full-scale, world-scale war.

the level of joblessness In The Countries is becoming very bad

You need to be a little more specific, in which countries?  In many European countries it's actually the other way around. The unemployment rate is at an all-time low, and a major problem for companies is the lack of qualified labor.

I did not know this could happen or is happening somewhere. I also find it hard to believe that the entire continent of Europe has a low unemployment rate. Surely there are also other countries that are struggling as much or at least close to how other countries outside of Europe.

It is the same with how in Asia, there are many third world countries struggling but there are also countries in Asia that are doing well.

the level of joblessness In The Countries is becoming very bad and it's becoming unproposal and bad making the youths of today engage in bad behaviors.
to the youths out there my opinion to you is that you get an online skill aquire it and use it positively.
Unemployment is a national disease; it affects almost all the countries in the world. No matter how the government tries, there will still be some who won't get employed. They can just focus on reducing the numbers but can't completely eliminate unemployment.

Being unemployed does not give one the license to engage in doing bad things; those are personal decisions, and one should not be blaming the government completely when they can use that same energy to focus mainly on self-development instead of thinking about the level of bad things they can do.

The government owes us, but we owe ourselves big time. If the government fails to provide employment opportunities, we should focus on creating one for ourselves and help one another; an entrepreneur sees a solution where others are complaining of the problem.

Unemployment is at a widespread rate but then the youths of this age have made themselves unfit for the task at hand so how would there be an opportunity for them and again joblessness us not found in all of the countries like you have just said and talking about skills, it's easily said than done because this generation of youths don't plan to acquire or learn a skill, they want to make it so fast forgetting that everything it's sure a gradual process, and you must go through it all, so the negligence to involvement has made the youths jobless thereby creating some repulsive attitudes they posses in the society.

In the context of joblessness In our country which has made the youths of this generation engage in bad behaviors,
The government has become very nonchalant towards making a positive impact on improving the current state of joblessness in the country.
the government should create skills acquisitions programs to engage the youths to enable them become resourceful and creative in various fields.

You should be more specific by "skill" because nowadays most people are seeking meaningless and low paying jobs just to make ends meet. Specially in the West with the ongoing recession. In fact that is why the unemployment rate is going down rapidly! People flip burgers, become social media influencer advertising crap, etc. and all that employment while they make less than minimum wage!!!

Skill should be something proper and useful. As far as "online" and computer skills go, such proper ones include programming, website design, digital security experts, graphic designers, ... and all of them can only be counted as skill if the person is actually good at them. For example someone who copies wordpress ready template and calls that "website design" is not categorized as skilled although they can make some money.

Agreed. Online skills is now important since most of the country offer work from home jobs which you can earn from companies on different country. Online job is kinda popular these days due to existence of technology that can do a remote work.

But I think sooner or later online jobs will still decrease due to potential tough competition with Chinese that offers low salary manpower. Temu is one example that can kill e-commerce of different countries.

Unemployment rates will vary from country to country because economies are not the same. You need to provide more information and what countries you are talking about, you can't just rely on what your country is going through and assume the world is going through the same thing.

According to the International Labor Organization, the labor market has not yet fully recovered because the world economy is growing quite slowly due to geopolitical instability. But overall, the unemployment rate remains stable at 4,9% in 2024 compared with 5% in 2023, so it cannot be said that the unemployment rate is rising sharply.

You need to be a little more specific, in which countries?  In many European countries it's actually the other way around. The unemployment rate is at an all-time low, and a major problem for companies is the lack of qualified labor.

This is the reason why the rate of migrants from Africa, and poor countries from other continents are trooping into Europe and the US. Unemployment is a very big issue in developing and underdeveloped countries where there's manpower but no work for the majority of the masses. These countries lacks proactive leaders that will tap into the potentials of their economies and turn it into wealth creation where the citizens will have jobs and be productive. Majority of the citizens in these unproductive countries will have to create means to empower themselves so that they can make money and take care their responsibilities.

It's ironic that the opposite is the case when it comes to industrialized countries where manpower and skilled labor are in high demand. Some people especially the youths will out of desperation enter into crime to survive, although there's no genuine excuse to be involved in crime, but if there's sufficient employment opportunities it will make crime rate to drastically reduce. But the way it is now, many leaders of these countries with high rate of unemployment opportunities don't care about the welfare of their unemployed citizens. It's now left on the ordinary citizens to either get second jobs to make ends meet or learn skills that their services are in demand to avoid poverty.

I don't believe in joblessness, but I believe in not worthy jobs.

There are so many jobs out there, it just the effort and time spending not worth for the reward. Like if the minimum salary in the country is $1K per month and work for 8 hours in 5 days per week, but many vacant jobs are only able to pay $500 per month and work for 10 hours in 6 days per week.

Usually people will reject such offer because they only want to work in jobs that pay at least minimum salaries, hence it make unemployment rate keep rising.

Another one is entrepreneurship which attracts a lot of customers if you know how to market your business. You can sell your own products or even offer your services online if you have special skills and talents that could cater not only the nearby community but globally.
but the question is what to sell?

it should be something unique and something that would attract people’s attention and most importantly it should be something you can afford to buy or create the thing with people who wants to get into entrepreneurship is they do not have the capital to start the business

This is also a big problem in our country that until now the government has not provided working solutions. However, when traditional jobs are no longer available and the country’s only offering limited jobs, hence this could be the perfect time to develop in-demand skills that will cater globally like software development, digital marketing, data analysis and even language proficiency. If you can’t gain an income offline, then do it through online.
