What a ride it has been the past 24-48 hrs! Definitely fun if you were smart enough to buy the dips

Good idea. I bought some dips in BTC, LTC, NEO, Ethereum

These free falls are occurring over shorter and shorter durations, who has time to sell?!

The irrational exuberance of a free press and a leader of Bitcoin's primary competitor (Wall Street) are nothing.

I didn't sell a single satoshi. What kind of idiot sells into an epic dump any way?
You might have to wait a while for the price to recover, but you won't make losses. With bitcoin the long term trend is always up.
Tons of weakhanded  wannabe traders do exactly that, and you know
it. Every time there's one of these panics, who do you think is selling? The ones
with no nerve for the topsy turve.

I did nothing during this roller coaster ride, so no regrets for me.

One of the few lads who believed that the recent bounces weren't that of a dead cat's, and I silently bought on $2900 (even though my girl was against that idea) which now gained almost $800 in value after 12 hours lol. As I've said, the Chinese wouldn't be out of the scene, check LBC stats, plus the fact that the big players, Japan, SoKor and India are the ones now pushing the price without China's guidance. Just keep on holding and not mind the previius days' crashes and small dumps.

I am in for the long run and I am not worried at all, even if it goes down more than 90%. There are Bitcon believers and those who just want to make some quick money. Guess, the last ones are panicking.  Cool

Me!

Like you, keeping it no matter what. I'm just trying to accumulate as much Bitcoin as I can right now.
Using this dump to earn more and enjoy more profit from the incoming rebound. Cheesy

Well, I'm more like a panic person, but I'll try to hodl it as long as I can.
I really hope the price will recover soon.
It's all because if I sell now, I don't even dare to know how much losses from this price later on.

OK, hold on, you're setting yourself up for disaster. You're--don't take it badly--way out of your league here.

"It's all because if I sell now, I don't even dare to know how much losses from this price later on" is the kind of reasoning that ends up getting people to jump from skyscrapers. Do not make decisions like this.

You should be asking yourself only one question: How much money that is currently tied in crypto do I need in order to survive. The right answer, if you want to play with crypto, is 0. And this should let you live without panic.

If you live on the fear of potentially lost future profits, you'll act poorly. Make decisions based on strong reasoning, and a plan.

pretty much, yeah. I've Always followed the concept of keeping the crypto part of my Investments completely outside of my fiscal planing. In any calculation I make, they are Worth 0.

Leads to making far better decisions, and is a lot more fun.

I've managed to grab a bit back. Just the other day I ordered roughly 2200$ of gold and silver coins for about 0.55 BTC

I paid back my 4 grand investment back in 2012. Sure, today that means I am a lot less well-off than I could have been, but it also means my "investment" in bitcoin is essentially free. In fact, I've since taken out a few more thousand dollars here and there.

I'm not a huge holder (as I did sell most of mine in 2012-13 rally), but I'm not moving my 1 in a million position. If it goes to zero, then so be it. it's "toy money".

1 in a million is pretty big in 2017.  So you havings bitcoin is like a a goose that lays golden eggs for you  and you just pick up a few every year?

who kept cool after that dramatic hours/days and kept cool not joining the panic SODL Train?

iam a long term trader who is keeping 95% of the the coins since 2013! i love turbulent flights, thats why i love also bitcoin!

who is also keeping the coins no matter what is coming?

You holding your bitcoins since 2013 ? For real ? What a dedication there, Your profit must be big there if you still hold many bitcoins since 2013. To be honest i also holding my bitcoins but when the bitcoin price hit $3,500, i lose my mind and panicked and just sell all my bitcoins directly before its to late.

so what you sold in $3500 level and right now the price is nearby $330 level so still you are in profit and if you want you can buy back your sold btc if you feel that you should hold the bitcoins

I am one like you then ! I believe in BTC, and whenever it has some decrease in it's value, I keep holding it because I think bitcoin will rebound back and maybe more powerful than before. Also I don't have much, and am not afraid to lose it's value, so have no problem in holding it !
