Who cares. I think this foundation could end up doing more harm than good, especially if the wrong people get in.
Agreed. Not to mention some of their baseless claims that "Bitcoin relies on the foundation" pfft

Yes, the Bitcoin Foundation is built on an unjustified grab for power. They pretend to represent the Bitcoin community while in fact have no legitimacy to do so. Any person involved with them should be viewed as potentially harmful, because of the political motives behind the Foundation (i.e. accepting "regulation").

Even if it would be pro-liberty, the Bitcoin Foundation is still a centralized organization that adds a central access gate for political pressure on the further development of the Bitcoin protocol.

ya.ya.yo!

I agree. Most fair woudl be if members will be added with representative of Chines communist party, KGB and CIA officer and special ambassador of Dalai Lama.

He could be leavign to start a different bitcoin related project that would conflict with his duties as the current exec. director.  He said "more soon" so it sounds positive!
