Is this a fucking joke? Conservativism is being trampled to death, and libertarianism has been dead for hundreds of years.

I like the sound of that.

It's always darkest before dawn.

Bitcoin is a true game changer in the battle against central banking and other forms of authoritarianism.

Agreed.  Unfortunately I'm afraid we are looking at total craziness, something like...

1.  soros/other evil entities funding jerk off Santorum to run as a false flag op
2.  another false flag op running Rubio
3.  back room republicans backing Chris Christie, in a push to keep things unchanged in DC
4.  meanwhile the little guy's only hope which would be yea, Cruz or Rand

Remember the way that Romney kept in there while the other guys were bailing?  It was his solid finances.

Yes, this seems to be what to expect when government is left in the hands of the few; a focus of power is a focus of self-interest.

I do believe a fine cross of liberal conservatism is needed. A good mix of left and right wing approach is what the United States needs.

I'm down with that, so long as it's a libertarian left and right.

Rand Paul is a top tier candidate for 2016.  That tells you which faction is gaining ground.

The other one, Ted Cruz, agrees with him on most issues important to both conservatives and libertarians (end the war, stop the drones, stop the spying, stop printing money, limit then reduce the size and scope of the Fed Gov).

rofl no. i mean it may be possible that libertarian rhetoric is beginning to supplant traditional conservative rhetoric but libertarianism is built on principals and the republican party has no principals, it only has rhetoric.

After Economics: Learning is just the first step.
I'm not sure I agree, what do you think? Are the neocons winning the Republican war or are the libertarian conservatives taking charge?
