I even wanted the Portuguese Manager to take a break like one year from football completely be he is just too stubborn and has his own plans in his head.
It's a deal and when two sides of a deal agree with each other, why do you say Jose is stubborn?

Fenerbahce actually saw things in Jose that can be helpful for their club next season in Champions League. He is welcomed as a hero in Fenerbahce and this means the club, boss and fans are expecting big things from Jose Mourinho.

Quote
Jose Mourinho and his tactics are outdated and I will say it a billion times.

He will definitely win the league for them next season. Champions League Competition? They will definitely thrive.
His tactics is not favorite by people who loves beauty football with many goals but its guarantee success in cups. It's not coincidence or randomness that why he won many cups, Champions League, Europa League, Conference League and domestic cups in his career.

At this age, he knows that he will no longer have many opportunities to manage Portugal national team so the term he requested to add in the contract can be explained.

I see many people getting surprised about Mourinho's signing for a Turkish team lately.  Smiley  Truthfully I'm not that surprised. I mean above all else, Fenerbahçe offered a huge deal for him and his crew for 2 years. Mourinho's cost to Fenerbahçe is expected to be around 46-47 million euros in this time period. It is a quite high sum to offer a manager right?  Grin

However Mourinho isn't just some manager. He has a career with many successes so far. You can find many people who find his game boring - including me  Tongue

I still think he can do nice things with his new team. Maybe a Super League title in the debut season already or even a title in a European competition - except the Champions League.  Grin

I wasn't perplexed same way as you, I knew and also had it in mind that he was never going to get a deal offered to him from any of these top European countries.
That was the only way to attract names. I expected a move to Newcastle United but they never considered it. Eddie Howe is having a bad two first season but low and behold mouths are now shut.

From the above data, it seems that people think Mou will go to Saudi Arabia, and surprisingly, the second choice is Fenerbahce. Is the Special One now a washed-up manager who can only get bad jobs? As a Mourinho believer, I still think he deserves to coach in the Premier League, preferably Newcastle. What do you think?

Because Mourinho already has experience as head coach of big teams in La Liga, Premier League and Serie A, then I hope Mourinho will become head coach for a team playing in the Bundesliga. Therefore,  previously I was quite hopeful that Bayern Munich would make an offer to Mourinho because I was sure Mourinho would also be able to accept it. But unfortunately, based on news circulating,Bayern Munich has also found a new coach for nextseason. But even so, at least there are other teams and I think it would be interesting if Mourinho was in the Bundesliga, because the competition in the Bundesliga also became very interesting after Bayern Munich's dominance was broken by Bayer Leverkusen.
Of all these things that are said, I say that Mou is not outdated or anything like that, he handles his course very well based on the football he played plus the demanding football of today, that is why many can discredit him, but it is difficult, because sometimes it is experience that makes the master, things did not go well for him with Roma, but we do not know how many problems there were there, now what I can say about this is that based on his great career I would like to see him in Newcastle, because it is a team that has all the desire to re-emerge, to be imposing and to make history, now if he goes to Arab football I am sure that it will go very well for him.

[if Martinez get a sack after Euro 2024, Mourinho will probabaly manages Fenerbahce as a coach for only one month. If it happens, it will be so weird!
Yeah, not sure if the clause is real though, since he can always manage a club and a national team at the same time. Plus, he can also leave when it's near the tournament date, like the 2025 WC qualifiers or the 2026 WC.
I remember that Jose Mourinho, probably him, said that he loves doing coach management for clubs, not for national team, because he loves working daily, not very sparsely like with national team.

That term is very strange if it is real because betting that you will lose the coach after working with him only one month and a new season will be at corner of beginning, it will bring chaos in the club at coach position. Fenerbahce took big risk if they accept that term with Jose Mourinho. I don't believe Portugal will have a good Euro this summer.

Its confirmed that Mourinho is set to sign a contract with Fenerbahce until June 2026 and there is a special clause that "he will be free to leave but only if one job opportunity arises".
https://x.com/SkySportsNews/status/1796468809416483048

It seems that he didnt get any offers from big European clubs and decided to accept a contract from Fenerbache.
Looking at how clubs are going for unknown Managers to manage big clubs of late, I honestly don't think Mourinho stood a chance to be called by the so called big European clubs as these guys are difficult to manage Roll Eyes.. & looking at the OP clearly it was either Saudi Arabia or Fenerbache and in the end Fenerbache was his destination which I hope he can bring some trophies for them...

Yes, I also read the latest news about Jose Mourinho, if he is going to the Turkish League and coach a top club there, Fenerbahce, it is known that no one in the major European leagues has made a special offer to Jose Mourinho since he was unemployed after leaving Roma and finally decided to coach the club. Turkish league, at least it is still in Europe and next season Fenerbahce will compete in the Champions League tournament together with Galatasaray. It is known that these two clubs did not qualify for the Champions League from group stage this season but still have the opportunity to compete again in the Champions League next season.

Fenerbahce is starting the new season with an experienced coach who has coached many big clubs. Hopefully, Jose Mourinho can show his skills to this Turkish club in competing in the Champions League next season as well as restore its good name which has been tarnished due to being fired many times by the clubs he was involved in. If he can give a good performance to his new club, it is possible that big European clubs will again look at Jose Mourinho to coach a more famous league like the Italian League Spanish League and English League.

Our president Ali Koç made an unexpected move for Mourinho just before the elections and really made a 2-year signing.  Smiley  This move made me really excited. I was thinking that Mourinho wouldn't be successful. However whoever I talked to, they said he was a trophy hunter. I hope they really turn out to be right about him. Because we couldn't win a Super League title for 10 years. I would like to put an end to this with a winner manager like him.

Mourinho has always been able to make the club he manages win some titles. Fenerbahce would surely win the league if he manages it the full season.
Not what I expected for Mourinho. He's a great manager and it's good that he's continuing his career as a manager but It's sad that he's not on major European league. Turkey do claims to be an European league and Turkish football is one of the genuine and competitive league with promising results in European tournament. It's a much better choice than moving to a league like Saudi one.
I am expected with Jose Mourinho will return to be Premier League team for Manchester United next season but finally Mourinho have reached personal agreement with Fenerbahce for two years contract. Little disappointed with Jose Mourinho decision accept Fenerbahce offer because he was top European manager and interested to see his tactician with top teams such as Premier League, Serie A or La Liga.
But not really bad become Fenerbahce manager for next season and Jose Mourinho has opportunity appearance in Champion League,
but Turkish Super Lig has two spot for Champion League qualifier round and its bit difficult for Jose Mourinho will success winning the qualifier match before setting Champion League group phase?

Jose Mourinho can proof he still the top manager maybe succes with Fenerbahce help his reputation in the future exactly get top perform in Champion League will make him become interested for top European teams.
It is not a disappointment seeing Jose Mourinho move to the Turkish league. The league might be lowly rated in Europe, but at least they have the opportunity of playing in the Champions League. If they can go through the qualifies successfully, they can make an impact in the Champions League. No Turkish club has ever reached the semi-final, and only Galastatary has reached the quarterfinals. Historically the chances of a Turkish team succeeding in the UCL is slim but nothing is impossible.

Anyway, Roma is playing in the Europa League, so it is a promotion for Jose. We might see the best from Jose because he has taken some time off, and I think he would have come up with a better strategy. When coaches like Zinedane Zidane took a break, he came back and won the Champions League.

At least Jose Mourinho has made Man United, Chelsea, AS Roma achieve brilliant careers in the European football league. The achievements currently felt by European football teams cannot be separated from Mourinho's upbringing, That should be an award for him, even though currently Mourinho is no longer valuable in the eyes of European clubs.

As far as I know, Arab clubs also have the desire to recruit Mourinho, to become their coach, even though Mourinho didn't respond because he still has a desire to have a career in Europe, but that's not a problem for him, even though Europe didn't accept him anymore, but the Turkish club Fenerbahce accepted him well, even though he has never known Turkey well, I'm sure he can prove the best for Fenerbahce in the future.

However, there is interesting news for Mourinho 31/may/2024, the agreement between Mourinho vs. Fenerbahce is final, as mentioned.
Quote
Jose Mourinho has reportedly reached an agreement to coach Turkish club Fenerbahce. Reportedly, a contract for two seasons is being offered.
Reported by the Mirror, this was conveyed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. Romano said that both parties expressed a verbal agreement.

"Fenerbahce reached a verbal agreement with Jose Mourinho. Mourinho said 'yes' and a two-year contract would be offered with an extension option until 2027," he explained.

Meaning: in the next two years, Mourinho will be able to prove to the world that he is capable of being the best coach for Turkey and Europe. He will regret looking at Mourinho with one eye.

I think Fenerbahçe will probably be Mourinho's next stop. A lot has changed since the day this topic was opened. Beşiktaş also had a meeting with Mourinho and received positive signals. Honestly, I wouldn't want Mourinho to come to Beşiktaş. It would be impossible to realize the transfers Mourinho wants when the club's financial situation is in trouble. There is a similar situation with Fenerbahçe, but they can find a way and spend big again. As long as Ali Koç is the president of the club, the club won't have money problems. If Aziz Yıldırım becomes president, he also wants to bring Mourinho. Fenerbahçe, which will play in one of the European cups next season, is a better option for Mourinho's career. I don't think he will go to Saudi Arabia.

I think he is using the Turkish and Arab teams as a bluff. I think he wants to heat up the market to get a better offer from Europe. But I also think that he still hasn't received the offers he wants from Europe. There was news in the press for a while that he was learning German. I think he wants to coach Bayern Munich. But the big European clubs are not interested in him anymore. If Turkish teams and Arab teams don't hurry up, I think we might even see Mourinho reduce his annual salary. No European club will pay him what he is asking for now.

I don't think it's a bluff, he has a declining image in Europe, he needs to prove himself again in a lower quality league to get his career back on track. Fenerbahçe seems to be a suitable team in this respect. I don't think Bayern want Mourinho at all. At Fenerbahçe, he will try to become league champion, while at the same time try to reach at least the quarter finals of the Europa League. I think it would be a great success for Fenerbahçe and a champion Fenerbahçe after 10+ years would create a good image for Mourinho.

It happened just like I said. I hope there were people who bet this way and made easy money. It was obvious that Mourinho would come to Fenerbahçe. It's clear that Mou will make good money but it's not clear if Fenerbahçe will be successful this time. Smiley

It is interesting to know the special term in his contract with Fenerbahce and we also know that he was offered chances to be a coach of Portuguese national team but a first time, Real Madrid President Perez did not allow Mourinho to leave. The second time is when he refused that offer to stay with Roma but that cooperation was not ended well, he was sacked eventually.

Now at his 61, he does not want to miss any chance and with this term, if Martinez get a sack after Euro 2024, Mourinho will probabaly manages Fenerbahce as a coach for only one month. If it happens, it will be so weird!

It's lucky for Fenerbahce to be coached by a coach like Mourinho, at least he made this a challenge in the Turkish League. From Italy stepping into Turkey was a bit of a surprise. Because basically Mourinho still deserves to be in Europe, an agreement until 2026 could be an agreement where Mourinho will end his career there. I'm not sure if after the 2026 season Mourinho will get a better offer.
Fenerbahce performance during this season is not too bad and managed to finish in runner up position, for that reason it should not be too difficult for Mourinho to make a breakthrough if he has to improve this club as champions next season. From Galatasaray alone the difference is only 3 points with 1 defeat.

Jose Mourinho has said yes to the deal being reviewed by Mourinho's team according to Fabrizio Romano in a tweet about 5 hours ago. It would be progress for Fenerbahce if Mourinho became their head coach for several years according to the length of time included in the cooperation contract.

Maybe it's true that Jose Mourinho didn't have much contact with other big European teams so he decided to say yes to Fenerbahce.
Fenerbahce is also a big club so it suits The Special One.

Life, Love and Laughter...
I think guys here should be looking into where Klopp and Naglesmann are going as their next clubs will have league title and UCL trophy implications.
I don't think Klopp is going to manage another club, to be honest. He's going to coach the German national team if he wants to coach again. I remember hearing him that language matters a lot and that learning a new language is probably a bit too much at his age. Mourinho on the other hand comes and goes to another club regularly, so speculating where he goes is a valid option. Besides, he's OP's favorite coach if I read it correctly, so no harm in speculating where he would go.
If you check Oddschecker, the bet on Mourinho is found on five bookies, while Klopp is only found on two bookies. This tells you that Mourinho > Klopp, LMAO.

Yeah that's funny.  But it's prolly because there's way less info on what Klopp might do than what Mourinho might do.  Dunno..  But popularity wise, I think Mourinho is slightly more popular amount the crowd but I still think it's funny that there's way less interest on what the better managers in Klopp and Nagelsmann would do next...

But then again it's also a sign that Klopp might go on a sabbatical and recharge his batteries just like what Guardiola did back in the day.

The news about Jose Mourinho being a Pundit for Champions league final is confirmed. But that doesn't confirm that he has decided to take a retirement from his managing career. The champions league final is a one day event and he might be joining just for that. He's a good manager and becoming a full time football analyst won't suit him.
London is the place he considers home now. He might be getting close with English teams and go through negotiation, there are not much options left but there's talk about him joining Manchester United. Any team in EPL would be better than leaving top European leagues.

I've heard a lot of rumors that Jose Mourinho will not go to Saudi Arabia, and I think he won't. I don't think that man needs money anyway.

He goes to a club where he can achieve success and manages that club. Former Fenerbahçe president Aziz Yıldırım said that if he became president again, he would talk to Jose Mourinho and bring him to Fenerbahçe. They even stated that they had a one-on-one conversation. He said that even if he does not become president, he will give half of the transfer fee for Jose Mourinho to Ali Koç. These are developments only on Fenerbahçe's side. I think Jose Mourinho will go to any club in Europe.

Yeah...  Mourinho is the kind of guy that won't debase himself by going to a Saudi league.  He'll prolly opt to stay in Europe among the top 4 leagues, maybe even Ligue 1?  And if not, he'll prolly choose to manage a top club in Portugal.  But if both of those isn't an option then he'll prolly retire or take some time off then pounce on the next job that's more to his liking.

I think guys here should be looking into where Klopp and Naglesmann are going as their next clubs will have league title and UCL trophy implications.

It's a career option, since José Mourinho, it seems to me, is in complete decline and no longer has a market in the big European teams...

Their performance at ROMA was below 50%, so the natural path for professionals at the end of their career or in decline is to bet on petrodollars... Make a small fortune and finally retire...
Even though the nickname of "The Special One" is no longer with him, I understand that with the decline in his performance after being fired by As Roma, many are doubtful about using him as a coach, there is a big possibility that Jose Morinho will return to Portugal, as his name was raised to the public in when he brought FC Proto to Champions League glory, that might happen if no offers come to him next season, if he steps into retirement, it seems too early for Jose Morinho's class to decide to retire, because in my opinion he is still worthy of managing a big club. What's more, he has never tried out in the German League or the French League, which will definitely have new challenges for him.

This could even be a good alternative for him, being the coach of a big team in Portugal...

If he could at least get a title or even make the team play good football, it would once again open the doors of football's elite to his job...

The coaching profession is quite thankless, because even if he has many titles and a good record throughout his career... his latest results are what weigh most when a club decides whether to hire him or not ...and in the case of José Mourinho this is a "red flag"

The GOAT manager currently has no club. With the decline in his rating, more people are saying that his methods are outdated, and after a recent title-less season in England and Italy, can he still land a big job? Or will he be content with a mediocre team or even a less prestigious job such as in the Saudi league or a national team?

One problem I have got with coach Mourinho is the fact his not changing method of play or tactics , whereas the style of football we had years back has certainly changed and advanced from Jose Mourinho known tactics, Would I say he's finding it difficult to adapt to changing football and patterns of play, However, I see Mourinho as someone that loves or enjoys coaching the English teams especially now that his age has been advanced, But base on his dropping rate, I don't see any notable or top English Premier that will be willing to offer him a job.

As a Mourinho believer, I still think he deserves to coach in the Premier League, preferably Newcastle. What do you think?
I agree with you that, Mourinho is still a top gun for me. He is an experienced manager, just that he hasn't gotten a big club that's willing to back him up with enough money to buy his right players and compete for the titles. Recently Mourinho complained that he wasn't backed up financially by the management of Manchester United, the way they have backed up Eric Ten Hag. Even when he was at Tottenham he also complained that Daniel Levy wasn't willing to bring money to buy players, that made him to leave club. So am still of the opinion that if Mourinho should still handle an ambitious club like Newcastle United, he will perform very well and win titles.
Jose Mourinho no doubt isn't any name when it comes to the football managerial world and every knows his capabilities and what is being discussed now is actually the major issues because as a coach in this current evolutionary period in football, a coach needs all the back up and support he can get financial from the board of the club or the owner if it's owned by a single person. Mourinho has it in his system and if anything he can actually adjust to how the football is going and that's why he has been doing quite well too even though the trophy aren't coming yet, his performance at the recent clubs he managed still shows he still has his flare just that the financial back up isn't just there.

The GOAT manager currently has no club. With the decline in his rating, more people are saying that his methods are outdated, and after a recent title-less season in England and Italy, can he still land a big job? Or will he be content with a mediocre team or even a less prestigious job such as in the Saudi league or a national team?

Here's the odds from oddschecker (only Skybet):
Quote
Any Saudi Pro League side 4/5
Fenerbahce 5/2
Newcastle 5
Chelsea 5
Liverpool 12
Portugal national team 14
Bayern Munich 12
England national team 16
FC Porto 16
Napoli 16
Barcelona 16
Borussia Dortmund 25
Any MLS side 20
Ajax 25
Nottingham Forest 33
Sporting Lisbon 20
West Ham 20
Crystal Palace 33
Inter Milan 50
Man Utd 16
Tottenham 50
Benfica 20

Chance for Jose Mourinho to stay in Europe but manage a big club is very small in this summer.
The future chance is slim, not only this summer. This is because no clubs want their manager to be bigger or more popular than the club itself. You must have heard the phrase "No one is bigger than the club." Mourinho has loyal supporters, stars in multiple ads, and becomes a pundit, etc. He's practically not the "normal" manager.

Saudi interest in Mourinho is not only because of his coaching ability but also because he is a good marketing asset.

It's a career option, since José Mourinho, it seems to me, is in complete decline and no longer has a market in the big European teams...

Their performance at ROMA was below 50%, so the natural path for professionals at the end of their career or in decline is to bet on petrodollars... Make a small fortune and finally retire...
No friends, all coaches will be interested in working in Europe, because there has its own value to show the best with that it will be focused on us which is impressive, Jose is a genius coach, it is impossible for European clubs not to be interested in him, Jose can still went to the Francis League One and the Portugal Liga.

I don't see Jose failing to handle Roma, in my opinion the Roma management doesn't want to deal with him.

Ah so that prolly means he won't learn Spanish, Italian and French.  Lol.  Which could also mean that he won't be managing Real Madrid, Juventus and PSG.  Grin  Sad to hear tho.  Would've loved to see him at Real Madrid.  But maybe he'll go back to where he got famous...  At BVB.  That would prolly be one of the best options for him.  Get those guys out of the rut.

So where will Mourinho go next?  You really think he's going to oiler country?  Cheesy

People's expectations will definitely be very high for Jose Mourinho, it's not surprising because he is a top coach. The start of the new season 2024-2025 will be the deciding factor for Jose Mourinho to decide which club he will coach. There are rumors that Jose Mourinho has received a new offer to coach Fenerbahce for next season. Former Fenerbahce President Aziz Yildirim has put Jose Mourinho at the top of his wish list and has made an approach. But I think he will definitely coach Bayern Munich, because this club is currently experiencing a decline and is looking for a new head coach. Moreover, Thomas Tuchel is rumored to be leaving his position at the end of the season.

It seems that your estimates were not correct because the offers presented to the Portuguese coach became diverse and included clubs from the Saudi League, Al-Ittihad. According to sports journalist Bruno Andrade , the Federal Administration has decided to contract with Mourinho; to succeed Gallardo, at the head of the team's technical leadership.
Mourinho's choice; It came with the approval of most of the technical leaders within Al-Ittihad Club, led by Spanish sports director Ramon Blanes.
The Federalists will find very fierce competition from the Turkish clubs Fenerbahce and Besiktas, which announced official offers to the Portuguese coach during the past few days.

Until this moment, it is not possible to predict the future of the Portuguese coach, who is also linked to taking over the leadership of several European clubs such as Fenerbahce and Tottenham. The Portuguese coach previously confirmed while leading Roma that “the idea of training in the Saudi League is on the table, but he does not know the appropriate timing.”

Fabrizio mentioned that he may consider talking to Fenerbahce, a Turkish team that did quite amazing this season and he knows that if he takes over an amazing team that almost won the league and lost on the very last game, and haven't been champions for a decade now, and make them champions, then it would be a good way to climb back up for him as well.

Look at his history, for a long long time he hasn't been managing a team that has the potential to win the league title, or at least expected to win the league title. If he can take over a team that has that potential then it would be very good for him because he would finally be able to go for that title, and then he can get offers from other teams that have the same chance.

Money is certainly not a problem for any clubs from Saudi Arabia to get Mou but I doubt Fenerbache willing to spend a lot of money just to get Mou.
However, even if they offer a big contract - I dont think he will take it, Mou is an ambitious person and Im sure he is still awaiting an offer from big clubs in Europe or National teams.
It looks like he wont refuse if Newcastle or Chelsea make an offer to him.
Chelsea's plan is to get a much younger coach and if that's the case, then mou is definitely out of the equation. I feel that he has done his part as a sports person and should be thinking on slowing down or going to a much more less competitive leagues since it's obvious most of his tactics isn't favourable at this phase.

Saudi pro league for me Is a perfect option to consider. Joining the Saudi pro league will add some top up to his manageral pay and  since the kind of football that's played at Saudi pro league isn't as organized as what you have in the EPL, lailga and bundesliga, it's going to be to his advantage that his tactics would be useful at that place. And again, almost all the big names that are approaching thier retirement are all going to the Saudi league which has gone a long way to making it a popukar league accross tye globe. He should just go there and leave our Chelsea alone.

I think it's not even a question of him having a high salary, it's more a question of the market, the biggest criticism of José Mourinho is that he is outdated, he has had the same ideas for over 15 years...

He hasn't kept up with the evolution of the sport, so I think it's very difficult for him to get offers from an elite team in European football...
This is what makes most of the elite European clubs consider recruiting Jose Mourinho because there are many rumors about this, if his tactics continue to be outdated then the club will not develop well and will be left behind by others. We remember when Jose Mourinho was still coaching Roma. This club continues to lag behind and has difficulty climbing into the top 6 rankings and tends to be in the middle of the table with its inconsistency and even suffers defeats more often and fortunately Roma immediately fired Jose Mourinho in the middle of the season even though they had to take risks but the proof is that it is a new coach who doesn't have much experience. like Jose Mourinho is able to improve Roma's performance better.

And the club that dared to bring in Jose Mourinho with a high salary agreement was only a Saudi Arabian club because Saudi Arabia has good finances so it doesn't matter if they recruit a coach with a lot of experience in Europe, even though the tactics are outdated in Europe but not in Saudi Arabia because of the level of play which is different and it is possible that the techniques that Jose Mourinho has can make Saudi Arabian clubs perform well but cannot yet match the level of football games in Europe. At least Jose Mourinho's popularity can increase the popularity of Saudi clubs.

Recently some teams sacked their manager for this season have filled with new manager for next season from Chelsea, Juventus, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Jurgen Klopp position with Liverpool replaced by Arno Slot. I think left Manchester United as top European teams with potential sack their manager but the management have close with all possibilities for signing Jose Mourinho. I don't sure for next season Jose Mourinho will be manager for any European team but not close possibility if want become Saudi Pro League or MLS League manager team.
With latest activities at big clubs and their coach positions, opportunity for Mourinho to be appointed as a coach of big club becomes smaller. I see only two chances for Jose Mourinho in coming months. First chance, that is biggest one, is moving to Saudi Professional League with some big clubs that are ready to give him good offers. Second chance is waiting for the end of Euro 2024 and performances of Portugal, to find his chance as a national team's head coach.

Chance for Jose Mourinho to stay in Europe but manage a big club is very small in this summer.

I don't think Klopp is going to manage another club, to be honest. He's going to coach the German national team if he wants to coach again. I remember hearing him that language matters a lot and that learning a new language is probably a bit too much at his age.
Klopp said he wants to take one-year break at least and will consider a new job after one year or even longer. Taking a coach position in German national team is a good choice for Klopp because Nagelsman will resign from his position after Euro 2024 according to some news I read.

There are only two big leagues that can be attractive with Klopp, La Liga and Serie A and La Liga looks to more fitted with his attacking philosophy but there is no open coach position there, in this summer. He will only return to coach management next summer 2025 so it's too soon to guess whether any coach position at big clubs next year.

Some teams right now priority with youth manager indeed most of them lack experience such as Bayern Munich appointing Kompany become their manager for next season.

Even though his later career had been rocky, Jose Mourinho still packs the ability to take a team and make them good enough to take up any challenge. There had been different rumors about where he might be heading. Many european teams did wanted him as manager but the rumors suggest he has put on a high price tag that most of the European teams can't afford him. So, the options looks smaller. There are already rumors that Mourinho might join a Saudi football club as a manager as they are spending money like there's no tomorrow. It would also be a good financial boost for Mourinho at his late stage of career. I don't see Saudi football going anywhere but it's good for popular football stars to milk the money till it flows.

To be fair to him I believe it's a complex issue ranging from management, a new generation of players that probably don't suit him, his personality, etc. It's not like he failed to win anything after he went from one club to another. If the result (top 4, top 8, and so on) is what I care about the most hiring him is probably still a better pick since the market is dry of new coaches anyway. CMIIW.

He just coached the golden national of Romania with Hagi being in that team and man , it was a stunning game to see my heroes from where I was a kid playing football one more time and Mourinho was very impressed with most of them and even said that a player like Hagi and Belodedici won't be born any time soon. Other than this , there are some rumors that he already has a massive offer from Saudi Arabia and he might accept it but we all know that he wants to try his luck with a national team so don't be surprised if he picks one until World Cup starts as he has plenty of time.  Cool

Football has evolved greatly, and many club sides are worried about Jose mourinho old school discipline approach; especially his outspoken spirit. Which is why it is difficult to find new jobs.

If Jose can emulate the likes of Ancelloti and allegri as a quiet disciplinarian, he will get top top jobs once again.
Also, what about nagglesman next job ? Or Xavi ? Haha

Even teams like Chelsea are no longer interested in veteran coaches but are out to seek younger coaches for their young team. The fact that Mourinho have had very little successes in recent times makes it harder for top teams to bid for his signature. Maybe if he had much luck with Roma and won the Europa league when he had the chance, maybe we'd be talking about a different story now.

Xavi, I don't know but I assume teams like Chelsea could get him on board. Isn't Julian Nagelsmann the current coach of Germany National team? If Germany performs well this Euro 2024, definitely sure he won't be in the market.

I agree, Arab and Turkish clubs may be using it to increase their offers in Europe, why not? I don't know if Bayern Munich will choose Jose Mourinho after Tuchel. Even though he is a coach with great success in his past, Jose Mourinho could not do exactly what he wanted in Rome, especially in the third season, and he was sent off from the team at half-time.

According to the current news, the most news is about Turkish and Arab teams. It is said that an astronomical amount was offered by an Arab team.

There have been many rumours about Mourinho but all of them without much foundation, some say he will go to Napoli, some say he is waiting for the call from Milan, some say he will return to coach in Portugal. I believe that this man will take a year of reflection this year and then go and be the coach of Portugal, now all he has left is this qualitative leap to embellish his great coaching history
A lot of speculations have been surrounding the future of Jose Mourinho as a football manager and his next possible destination but what have surprising to me about the whole thing is that despite the experience and success of the Portuguese manager, he's still finding difficult to land another job for himself since he was sacked by Roma.
Recently, many top clubs have been mentioned to be interested in signing Jose Mourinho but none of the speculations have actually been officially because none of them came from any of the clubs. Hopefully for Jose Mourinho, he's going to get the job.

Whichever team he coaches next, it will always be good to see his trademark. In Serie A I don't think he will return to coaching, Juventus took Thiago Motta, Milan Paulo Fonseca, Napoli will most likely sign Antonio Conte, so in Italy there remain very few chances for him to get a coveted bench

Mourinho knows what to do when his team faces stronger opponents, he can also exploit the situation well when his team is in an advantageous position. The method used by Mourinho is still very suitable for use in the modern era of football, it is a bit boring if you look at the total defensive strategy or what is often called bus parking tactics, but it is not easy to build a strong defense like when he won several prestigious trophies with Chelsea.

Newcastle is the best choice for Mourinho future, this club has large capital to bring in quality players, he can build a new dynasty with Newcastle after previously being successful with Chelsea. Continuing his career in the EPL will give him more challenges and be able to improve his name again after failing at several other clubs. One of the best choices for him is currently to handle Newcastle because his quality as a coach is still highly regarded, his presence in the EPL will also give a different color when the Big Match occurs.
Every coach has his own strategy and Jose Mourinho is known for his quite good defensive tactics but apart from that I think the most important thing is the end result and Jose Mourinho has been quite impressive in his coaching career even though he has been through difficult times but I think almost everyone The team coached by Jose Mourinho has made good progress.

Newcastle is indeed a team that is developing, but I have not seen any strong rumors about Newcastle management's interest in recruiting Jose Mourinho.
There are new rumors circulating regarding Jose Mourinho's future. The Special One is rumored to be returning to training in the EPL League next season. Even though there are no rumors that he will go to Newcastle, I think he is very suitable to coach Newcastle. There, finances were not a problem and he could buy whoever he wanted. For some reason, I think Mourinho can improve the mentality of his players, and his decisions in choosing players are often right.

Talking about strategy, every coach has their own strategy and in the past when Mourinho coached a team, he didn't think about playing well, what was important was that the end result was winning. So it is not surprising that every team he trains uses a defensive strategy and only relies on fast and successful counterattacks. It could be said that where there is Mourinho, there is a championship. Where Mourinho trains, there the media will highlight him, and Big Match matches will be in the spotlight. The game of thinking and strategy, increasing the market is also on Mourinho's brain. I really want him to return to coaching a team in the EPL league.

Mourinho's name comes up with many clubs and he is still one of the most popular coaches. I am surprised that a club like Bayern Munich has not tried to get him into the team. In the Turkish league, I can only imagine Mourinho at Fenerbahce, because he will definitely want to play in the CL but to be honest, I cannot imagine him working in Turkey.

José Mourinho will definitely find work, now there will be many changes on the bench both in Serie A and in the other leagues and I don't think his current job situation will go unnoticed. I would see him very well as Portugal's coach for the next World Cup, or who knows, maybe he will sign for another top European club. It will be a very long summer for JM, I hope well for him

YES! I'd rather discuss the GOAT than gambling problems Tongue

The odds are tempting because it's difficult to predict where he will go. The odds also will change sharply after some insiders have the info IMO, so keep monitoring the odds fluctuation if you want to play.

Not recently, but the news was there this season several times since the current Newcastle coach is crap.
You know, oil tycoon -> big money club -> Mourinho, just like Chelsea did.

There are some news about Mourinho in the Turkish press. Fenerbahçe's presidential candidate Aziz Yıldırım said that he met with Mourinho and said that if elected he would bring Mourinho to Fenerbahçe. He also said that if he is not elected, he will provide financial support for Mourinho's transfer to whoever is elected. Aziz Yildirim wants to see Mourinho in charge of Fenerbahçe and is ready to do everything for that. Besiktaş, another Turkish team, is also interested in Mourinho. The second president of Besiktaş announced that he met with Mourinho. There is a lot of interest in him from Türkiye. It would not be a surprise if we see him in Türkiye. I think he will work in Türkiye if there is an agreement on financial issues. The biggest rival of the Turkish teams will undoubtedly be the Arab teams. We know that Al-Ittihad is also interested in Mourinho.

There is quite lot of discussion and also news sources that publish reports about Mourinho future, there are various names of teams from several domestic leagues being linked about Mourinho departure next season as the coach who will be brought in.
But I personally see what has actually happened, namely that there are two team from the Turkish Super League who have an interest in getting Mourinho services in the next season, it just not yet clear whether there is an agreement for one of these team or not.
First is Fenerbahce and it can be confirmed that Aziz Yildirim as the presidential candidate for Fenerbahce has met with Mourinho and his party has also spoken about being able to submit an offer to Mourinho.
And secondly, Besiktas, one of the top teams in the Turkish Super League, was also reported to have interest in bringing Mourinho next season.

It just that I personally would be much more interested in Mourinho accepting the offer that will be given to Fenerbahce because next season Fenerbahce also has the potential to compete in other European competitions.

Yes, he is an expensive manager and everyone knows why (he is worth the money). Everyone talks about his failures, but the fact is that he won titles with literally every team except Tottenham, even with Roma.
By the way, if you look at how things are going with the pool of available coaches, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he finds a job in a top league and a top club.
Calling a coach who has won many titles so far from many leagues, Portuguese, Premier League, Serie A, La Liga and Champions League, Europa League, Conference League as a failed coach, it's big joke.

He can not satisfy all bosses and fans, sometimes he did terrible things and his clubs got very poor results but generally, Mourinho is a successful coach.
~

Envious people love to savor Mourinho's failures; any unbiased observer cannot deny his many successes with different clubs.
I think that almost no one thinks about such an indicator as opportunities/results. It is obvious that becoming a German champion with Bayer is 10 times more difficult than with Bayern. If we take this indicator into account, Mourinho will be at the very top among all coaches.

Since being fired by Roma, Jose Mourinho is still unemployed at the moment and needs a new, more challenging job, but it looks like the club Big clubs are starting to not include Jose Morinho in their list of coaches because, as many people say, the methods he uses are old school.

I probably won't take action to bet a certain amount of money to choose where Jose Mourinho will go because there are too many choices and rumors are not yet clear. The luck factor will be the main thing to win the bet but what is clear from the code is that Jose Mourinho will return to the League. England and I'm not sure Jose Mourinho will go to Saudi Arabia even though the clubs there are interested in him and might make a high offer but in Jose Mourinho's eyes money can't bribe this coach.

José Mourinho, after separating ways with AS Roma, currently without a club. Throughout his outstanding career, he has achieved remarkable success, but recent years have struggled challenges. Some football commentators contend that his tactical approach is outdated. Currently, he has several options on the table, including Turkish clubs like Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş, as well as potential opportunities in the Saudi Arabian league. While the financial offering from Saudi clubs are enticing, Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş may offer him a chance to prove himself in European football once again.

If anything, a washed up, once great football manager like him should prolly retire from club football and start managing a national squad.  Who knows...  With his pragmatic style he could win the Euros and prolly even the World Cup.  It's what brought him two UCL titles.  That still should mean something.

Would love to see him manage the Portuguese national squad or some South American squad.

Personally, Jose Mourinho is the best manager after success winning UEFA Champion League with difference teams from FC Porto until Inter Milan, but last several season he failed win any domestic league trophies since became Manchester United manager season 2016 to 1018, then two season with Tottenham Hotspur from 2019 until 2021 before AS Roma is the last team for him but only winning UEFA Conference League and got sack before end this season.

Talking about his future, currently many teams leave by their manager in this season but the management seems not interested to appoint Jose Mourinho become manager and likely only Saudi Pro League team want to make him as manager next season. I am expected with Jose Mourinho future will not become European teams manager but also he has more interested to be Saudi Arabia club manager.

Jose Morinho is a man that will definitely remain in search of a job,the truth is that he was good in those days, but his tactics and the method he uses in those days,he still wants to use and that is what's making him fail at the different clubs he goes to.He is a man that loves the defensive method of Football. It was this method he used when he was at Chelsea,Inter Milan, and several teams he has gone to,but what is now happening recently in football is not one he will be able to Excell greatly in,if he goes to England, they will still sack him.

Mourinho sometimes said that he loves the air of Premier League and it's his most favorite league to do his coach management. I believe if he receives good offers from Premier League clubs and from competitive clubs, he will seriously consider about these offers and will not refuse any chance to return there.

He is a good coach for short term targets like winning titles within 2 or 3 seasons, not longer as his high ego usually triggers internal conflicts with many people in a club such as the owner, sports director and even star players.

In Premier League now, I see Newcastle United as a most possible destination for Mourinho because it's nearly impossible to see Mourinho returns to Manchester United after bad experience seasons ago. In Chelsea, Pochettino probably gained trust and support from the owner. Only Newcastle United is a club that has good finance and competitiveness as well as ambition to win titles. It will be good cooperation between Newcastle United and Mourinho.
José Mourinho have been a very successful coach across Europe, he's won major trophies in different leagues which makes him worth being called one of the greatest coach of all time. Talking about the Premier league he's been successful in two different clubs and I think there's no doubt for him loving the atmosphere there, but after his experience at Tottenham in 2019, I don't think going back to the EPL would be at option for him, the big clubs are occupied with good coaches and even Manchester United have not yet concluded on terminating Ten Hag's contract, he once made his interest clear that he'll consider coaching United again but I don't think Ineos would take that statement seriously. Talking about Newcastle I've not heard of any news of them being interested in him, it could be possible but I'm not very sure and I think he might move to another European league or definitely end up in the SPL which I think is the most likely destination for him next season.

I feel like he is not going to get top five leagues to be chasing after him. The main reason is that he is not a cheap manager, no matter if he gets offers or not, he is not cheap and he knows that at the worst case he could go to Saudi league but I am sure that after what he said about the league he will probably not go there, but could go to some other rich club somewhere, so he will not make himself cheap.

What could work instead would be some other team in other European leagues, like still go to champions league or europa or conference, a team from maybe Belgium, maybe Scotland, maybe Portugal, maybe Turkey, like a team that is not from top five leagues but still a European team. That may actually work for him, win the league and fight at Europe, would fit him very well.

The point is that if you look from the point of view of a coach, there are few super good options, but if you look from the point of view of clubs, then all the good coaches are busy or do not agree (as is the case with Bayern).

Uh no...  He's not a top manager anymore and the well informed people will def not have high expectations for where he goes next.  So the couple of spots in the betting market is where he's likely going if he chooses to accept it.  Lol.  It has never been the same for Mourinho ever since losing his right hand guy Rui Faria.

I'd like to see him back in the EPL with Newcastle tho.  But that ain't happening...

Should this even be a thread to start? Lol.
We don't get no action from Saudi Arabian Premier League Competition, they lots to do to bring man switching to them channels to see games and even taking Jose Mourinho to that league won't add nothing. Just as you said, he is a washed up manager and his tactics are outdated.

Having said that, The Special one won As Roma their first ever European trophy for them and should have won a trophy for Tottenham Hotspur but the management sacked him few weeks to a cup finals. Back to Fenerbache shows how much declined he's been, because who do you views football played in that league? Lol.

The Special One should take a fucking break from football for now, I've seen Louis Van Gaal and Josep Pep Guardiola as they did so. Football had indeed evolved from his pattern. Take a good look at the coaches and what has won them tittles over the past five years them you will know how outdated Jose Mourinho has been.

Back to Newcastle United? They have money and can fund his bullshit, also Eddie Howe is having a bad second season and the media are blind now? They're in the Conference League Competition, maybe Jose Mourinho has something he can do.

Chelsea was the only English team, where Mourinho was successful as a manager, and that happened many years ago(2005-2007 and 2015).
Mourinho failed as a manager in Manchester United and Tottenham, why would he succeed in Newcastle? Chelsea barely recovered after Mourinho's second period as a manager there. I think that it's over for Mourinho and he shouldn't lead a big club anymore.
I think that it would be a big mistake for any English team, if Mourinho gets hired. Maybe Saudi Arabia and Turkey are the best places for him.

It's fun to watch at this overview, but I think there might be little to no substance to that....
...I don't know how this list was composed and how the odds were made up.
This is not the first time Mourinho has bet on it, and surprisingly here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/jose-mourinho-next-job-5195894
Tottenham was in the top 6 of the list, so perhaps people's guesses were somewhat accurate?!
IIRC during the last hours of the announcement, the odds were heavily in favor of Tottenham, so I guess people knew the decision even before the announcement.

The GOAT manager currently has no club. With the decline in his rating, more people are saying that his methods are outdated, and after a recent title-less season in England and Italy, can he still land a big job? Or will he be content with a mediocre team or even a less prestigious job such as in the Saudi league or a national team?

Here's the odds from oddschecker (only Skybet):
Quote
Any Saudi Pro League side 4/5
Fenerbahce 5/2
Newcastle 5
Chelsea 5
Liverpool 12
Portugal national team 14
Bayern Munich 12
England national team 16
FC Porto 16
Napoli 16
Barcelona 16
Borussia Dortmund 25
Any MLS side 20
Ajax 25
Nottingham Forest 33
Sporting Lisbon 20
West Ham 20
Crystal Palace 33
Inter Milan 50

It's fun to watch at this overview, but I think there might be little to no substance to that. On the one hand you could think he's done with top jobs in Europe, on the other hand I guess nobody would be shocked if some top club announces Mourinho as the coach for the new season. Things can change within days or hours. Think about it: if you are Mourinho and you think it's over in Europe, and then the phone rings and there is this amazing offer from a great club. He could change his mind immediately. I don't know how this list was composed and how the odds were made up. Saudi Arabia is a realistic option because it would make him many times as rich as he is now perhaps. But he is still the kind of guy who could say yes to an offer from clubs like Juventus Turin or Manchester United.

Jose Mourinho is a manager known for his idiosyncratic behavior. This means that he would prefer to go to a club that offers him an environment where he can do what he wants. Fenerbahçe's interest in Jose Mourinho is rumored to be due to the fact that the former president and the president, who is running for president again in the current elections, want Jose Mourinho.

Jose Mourinho could find the environment he wants in Fenerbahce. Fenerbahce have not been champions for a long time and they are looking for a coach who can give it to the team. I don't think they will have a problem with money and I think Jose Mourinho will prove that he is a top coach again at Fenerbahce.

As for Fenerbahce, I think this one fits the profile as they have some good quality players which means he doesn't need to start from the ground up which is a good destination for the Portuguese, though he should some interest in Manchester who seem to be shaky of late I think going back to manage the Red devils wouldn't be a bad idea .

Jose Mourinho is a big name in the world of football, and truly his rating is declining, especially with what happened in Roma, but still, I do not rate him that way. Roma is a club that has a problem of its own, you will hardly see them winning so many tournaments unless there is good luck working for them at that time. I think Jose Mourinho tried his best, so for me, he is still doing fine and I do not think that a seasoned coach like that is not dynamic to the point that some uninformed people will believe his style is outdated. You should not be surprised, that's people for you, they celebrate the current success and find every reason to talk down on a mere challenging moment. owning to his antecedent, I do not believe that he will be without a club for long, many more would have been contacting him by now.

Notwithstanding, I wouldn't want to rack my brain about Jose Mourinho's next club as it will eventually be done, so why be impatient? Well, much news linking him to clubs and contacts by the clubs are always surfacing on the internet with some believing that he will eventually go to the Saudi Pro League. For the money, this could be so tempting really, but there are others as well as Chelsea where he was spectacular, Bayern Munich, Newcastle etc, he could pick any of them with no serious coach yet.

In fact, nothing terrible happened in Roma, there he managed without scandals or conflicts, it’s just that his working methods did not bring the desired result. It is worth recognizing that his strategy of defensive football is not as relevant now as it was in the old days, even at Atletico it is clear that Semiona recognizes this and is trying to play more attacking football. If you want to be in the ranks, you need to meet the requirements of modern trends. Mourinho is losing his former relevance because he does not want to change, in fact, not many clubs would like to see him as their coach, although look at Bayern, they cannot find a coach...

The GOAT manager currently has no club. With the decline in his rating, more people are saying that his methods are outdated, and after a recent title-less season in England and Italy, can he still land a big job? Or will he be content with a mediocre team or even a less prestigious job such as in the Saudi league or a national team?
From the above data, it seems that people think Mou will go to Saudi Arabia, and surprisingly, the second choice is Fenerbahce. Is the Special One now a washed-up manager who can only get bad jobs? As a Mourinho believer, I still think he deserves to coach in the Premier League, preferably Newcastle. What do you think?

He still wants to work in Europe at highest level and I believe he aims at the national coach position of Portugal after Euro 2024.

If he stays in Europe, he will not choose Fenerbahce as he will receive better offers from bigger clubs than Fenerbahce and the Turkish league will not be interesting with Mourinho.

I consider chance for him to move to Saudi Arabia is bigger than move to Turkey for his next club.

Newcastle United looks a promising destination for Mourinho as Premier League has a better position in his heart than Serie A.

Bayern Munich is another possible destination for him if Nagelsman will not return to Bayern, Tuchel leaves, Mourinho is not bad choice for Bayern Munich when they want to get short term success after buying Harry Kane.

Money shouldn't be a problem for any club in Saudi Arabia if they are interested in acquiring Mourinho (Mou). With his good reputation and remarkable successes in Europe, it's only natural that he aims to continue his career at top-tier clubs. If Newcastle or Chelsea were to make an offer, it would definitely catch his attention. Both clubs have great potential and adequate resources that can help fulfill Mou's aspirations. Newcastle, with its large project and strong financial support, could pose an interesting challenge for Mourinho while a return to Chelsea, where he has previously tasted success, holds strategic value for both parties. Even when presented with a significant offer from clubs like Fenerbahce, I believe Mourinho is more inclined to wait for a prestigious opportunity in European or international football that offers more challenges. His ambition and drive to excel at the highest level makes him very selective about his next destination, as he waits for the right fit that will allow him to continue showcasing his capabilities at optimal levels.

Imo, Mourinho's premier league days are over. He's currently better off going to clubs in the Saudi league and just make money. Imagine Mourinho at Al Nassr coaching Christiano Ronaldo, Mane, etc? That would be glorious. Most EPL clubs will want to skip Mourinho for more up and performing managers - for instance, how Liverpool was working hard to get Alonso's signature rather than get an OG like Mourinho? That's why, I maintain my stance that Mourinho should just see off the rest of his career there. He has achieved everything as a manager and can just make more money instead before calling it quits.

I'd rather see Mourinho in English League Championship or Primeira Liga Portugal than on any non-European League. He has the experience and working strategies for European football, he have taken and rose different clubs to unlikely spotlight.
I'd personally love Mourinho to manage Chelsea again, it's where I started loving both the Mourinho and Chelsea as a team. There are not the same players in Chelsea as they used to be when they won the league under Mourinho but Mourinho has time and again claimed Chelsea to be his home club. He do have a home in Chelsea. I think working for what you love is more important than making money. Chelsea do need a good manager and Mourinho may provide a discounted service for his home club.

Even if his recent work has not been so "glorious", José Mourinho's dismissal since January does not mean that he is "dismissed", quite the opposite... it seems that there is no shortage of interested parties in his services.

I believe that Al-Qadsiah, recently promoted to Saudi Arabia's top league, intends to make José Mourinho the club's next manager. Although the achievements have been achieved, it is very likely that Al-Qadsiah wants to raise its technical level by hiring one of the most titled coaches today.

About Fenerbahçe... I don't think so, as they haven't won the Turkish championship in 10 years, and wanting to take José Mourinho to Turkey is something very "outside the norm" for this coach.

My bet is that he will continue in Europe or go to Al-Qadsiah.

Not sure Fenerbahçe can pay his salary though... But the league is better than Saudi (IMO) so the possibility is still there.

I was also surprised when I first heard about this news. However one of the candidates Aziz Yıldırım looks really confident about paying Mourinho and his crew's salary. Besides there are even news such as Aziz Yıldırım is going to have an enormous budget like 300 million euros. In this case it shouldn't be too difficult for him to finance Mourinho transfer.  Smiley  By the way I think Mourinho would already leave for Saudi Arabia if he really wanted to work there.

There is a presidential election at Fenerbahçe. It is said that both president candidates have talked to Mourinho. Fenerbahçe can't manage to become champions for 10 years and the fans don't have any patience left.As a Fenerbahçe fan I would like to see Mourinho managing the team. However I have serious worries that this might cause the team to be in a difficult condition financially.

I dont think Fenerbache can afford to hire Mou and buy some players that Mou needs to compete with Galatasaray and other clubs in the Champions League later.
I think maybe Fenerbache will be the last choice for Mou if no other club wants to hire him for the next season.

There is still the opportunity for him to become manager of Manutd, Bayern or Newcastle, even though he is not the main option, his name must be on the list of that clubs.

Jose Mourinho didn't have a trophy-less season in Italy. He led Giallorossi to the first-ever UEFA Conference League title and also slightly missed the Europa League finals when they lost in the finals. He has been criticized by some fans and sports pundits about his defensive football style which has produced less entertaining football. I think he improved in his style Roma and should have been given more time.
Well, if he's happy with a 3rd Tier trophy then he's already a washed-up manager Grin
I thought Mou could bring Roma to the Champions League, but a PPM of 1.70 is bad, and it's even worse than Spurs (1.77 PPM). Compared to Pep's lowest PPM of 2.34, Mou's last two clubs were crap.

I personally want to see him as a pundit. I'm not a believer of his coaching method in this modern time, but he sure makes a lot of memorable speeches so I would like to see more of him on the media even if he no longer coaches.
Yeah, I watched him a lot and he's a great pundit/media personality. But it's a waste since football is more interesting with Mou's antics.
I don't think he'll coach in Saudi though, it's bad if he coaches in the "farmer league." It hurts his ego!

With Jose Mourinho's popularity and fame no wonder people's trust could praise him for his journey in handling his team. Many people had great expectations for this season that they could beat the top competition on the Premier League, and the advantages is already there if your based their track records on history. Gambling odds was all dependent on this story, so let's take this as a 100% basis.

I would definitely be very happy if Mourinho returned to coach a club in the Premier League, regardless of whether it is Newcastle or any other team. Mourinho is still one of the best coaches of my choice, but the success he achieves really depends on which team he coaches. Mouriho failed at Roma and failed at Manchester United before, but I hope he can still successfully win the title and provide tough competition in other domestic leagues next season.

I really hope he can take his place as the new coach in the Premier League next season even though he has been considered a failure in Serie A, I think Mourinho is still the best one to find a good club. Newcastle would certainly be good for him, but I don't know if the owners are that interested in giving him the job or keeping Eddie Howe as coach.

Mourinho is a good coach, but he hasn't been lucky in the teams he's been in, he's been unlucky to be in teams that don't want to spend money on signing players. At Roma he had difficulty getting a budget to sign players, most of Roma's players came as free agents or on loan. Mourinho put together a good squad at Roma and a good defensive scheme for Roma, but he made mistakes in the attack, he made Roma If they only played to end up with a draw, as long as Roma didn't lose, that was fine with him. The problem with that is that it causes the team to lose a lot of points. I believe that Mourinho in Roma couldn't make the team play as he wanted precisely because of this financial barrier that I mentioned
If you mean buying players who had made social and physical Influential records to their football carriers is what would bring winning to the club I would doubt it.
A coach can also ruin a good players carrier. Although I am not saying that Mourinho has not been a good coach.

Just saying that if the coach can utilize his players with formations to standout for winning, there would always be that approach to win even though if they can not secure all that chances.

So, Mourinho hard times to win could be that he doesn't have the ability to study his team so that he would know how to handle them with the pitch formations.
However, winning in football is not exemptional like when we say gambling is a game of luck.
Sometimes the coach would need some long time to draft the logics to standout but a psycho manager would always want to act superior over the players and we should know that can be depressing and the players may team to even ruin your carrier by playing to loose those chances to win while the manager takes the blame from the club and the fans.

He still has the strength and ability to remain in any competitive league in Europe. He might have some offers from clubs in the Premiership by the end of the season. There is also a high chance of him moving to Turkey to take over Fenerbahce but nothing is certain yet. But he would have an instant offer if he decides to move to the Saudi Arabia Professional League.

If that failed though, I don't really want to see him coach another Premier League team since the media will repeat the same jargon every time he loses a match. Going to Saudi or other leagues would be better IMO. Earning a ton of money with the possibility of winning something (with little to no pressure) is always good.

I see nothing wrong about Mourinho, his far much better than most current premier league coaches, i would not like to mention names but it's a fact, him moving to Saudi is more like gifting him the trophies. This might not be an issue but Mourinho did coached Manchester United, I do not think he would be the perfect option for Chelsea rather Newcastle will be best and I see they already have the quality of players to help them win titles.

If Mourinho managed to return to the Premier League, and it was in a team with a good budget, something like Manchester United again, I believe he would be able to restructure Manchester United and make the team play well. he needs to coach a big team that is in difficulties, so that if he recovers this team, then his reputation would rise again, if he went to the Arab league, I highly doubt he would achieve great results, because it is a complicated league in which to be successful you need to be part of a good team

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
I honestly want Mourinho to compete in the premier league again next season but we still can't see the latest news about him going there maybe there is no offer from the club while Howe is still likely to stay.

Jose Mourinho is a coach who often experiences controversy either with management or players but I will still consider him a great coach even though some say his tactics are outdated, but he has long experience to be able to win trophies with his former club.
