I think people have a long way to go for news to be like this and BTC's to be the base currency for counting.

This is actually a more profound post than it initially seems. Thinking in terms of bitcoin instead of legacy currencies such as the dollar is an important and powerful psychological leap. International travelers or people who regularly deal with foreign currencies can easily mentally switch the base currency at hand; but automatically defaulting to bitcoin as the reference currency in one's mind is a bigger step we involved in cryptocurrencies ought to encourage. How to start? When you see a dollar figure or a euro figure, simply make the conversion. When dining out, shopping, any time at all, just convert. (Better yet, ask if they accept bitcoin.)

NEW YORK — JPMorgan Chase almost doubled Chairman and CEO Jamie Dimon’s pay for 2013, rewarding the executive for settling probes against the bank.

Dimon will receive total compensation of 22,222 BTC in 2013, consisting of 20,000 BTC in stock options and a base salary of 1,666 BTC, the bank said in a statement Friday (all figures based on the current exchange rate).
