Congrats on ranking up to Jr. Member mate now the struggle to rank up begins here in order to get merit, you must post very constructive and must be helpful or agreeable to get merit but remember quality posts must not be very constructive and also, there are merit giveaways scattered in services and meta section i suggest that you should participate in that giveaways.

hey guys . I have just been J.r Member . I dont know how to get merit to be member. what is the best thing for me to do to get merit ?

I've sent you a merit for effort. Try to write meaningful comments and ask questions that are really worth asking about cryptoworld.
Hey OP, well, lucky you. Looks like you received your first Merit. But what a shame, your first Merit reward was given to one of your shitposts. I'm sorry but a thread like this will never deserve a Merit. Even monkeys will refuse to Merit such a post like this.
I really don't know what came to Mr. OrcaTech's mind that he decided to gave you a Merit. Instead of encouraging you to improve your post, looks like he just gave you another tips to spread spams here in the Forum. Because as far as I know, "meaningful" is really too different to "improve". You can write meaningful post but not all meaningful posts are constructive or quality posts.

All I can say is, try to Improve your post. Make it more constructive and informative. Stop posting threads like this in the future, because it is totally unpleasant. No one will enjoy reading threads like these (except to those/other shitposters). Also try to read other threads around, you know why? Because there are already billions of threads created with the same topic as yours. Sometimes, we really need to use the combination of our brain and eyes just to learn. Why don't you try, it will work, I promise.
It's not too late buddy, you can still save your account from spam posts.

First is to learn how RESEARCH or BROWSE! This was already answered, try going thru some topics in the meta section that talks about the new system or simply look for the pinned post by theymos regards merits. Don't be too dependent on others, Most of your questions are already answered here just took some effort and time to look for it. Please don't make it being spoonfed a habit, how will you grow if you can't stand on your own.

but please use your merit wisely.
Don't be fools right? if we give a merit for someone just like effort reason, it's like you help someone in real life and after that the people arround you will kill you because you help felon person and you know that.

Merit is a system will make this forum still alive. Will make a people in this forum have a critical thinking, and will make a big source for someone who research about cryptocurrency world.

hey guys . I have just been J.r Member . I dont know how to get merit to be member. what is the best thing for me to do to get merit ?
Hey bro! most of your posts in the previous are one liner, aside from that you are participants of twitter bounty campaign so rests of your posts are link. I suggest to posts in different sections of bitcointalk, give some participants advise how they can improve their quality of their posts. In addition, you need to have a posts that very helpful, with sense and something topics who can get the attention of the others. For me this is the best ways to earn merit, hoping that I can help you.

Giving merits for OP like that will encourage other to make this kind of posts. People are free to spend their merits as they like. But then we'll have every 2nd post of how to earn merits. Everybody knows how, but it would take devoting serious time and hard-work. Something what most people clearly lack as they continuously looking for easy shortcuts.
You are right, more lower ranks will encourage to makes nonsense topic and in worst they were possibly evolve as spammers in the future.

Lot of accounts now are not moving with their rank. The only thing to gain merit is by your high quality and it's your effort now to make quality post. Some advice to me is.
1. Avoid single a phase post, make it more technical.
2.  Don't post a post that already posted like just you are rephrasing it.

Something like giving merits away to friends. I don't see any reasonable stuff to merit the OP. It should be consider as suspicious behaviours.
There are lots of available topics and threads about the same issue before the guy created the OP, so at somewhat extent, we can call this one as spamming topic. Consequently, it is really non-deserved-merit topic.

You could have just suggest him/her your suggestion without giving him/her merit because this post does not count as a meritorious post. Giving a merit to posts like this can lead to a bad thing such as encouraging shitpost to be happen more. I am not saying lower ranked member does not deserve to rank up, but please use your merit wisely.

That's it, help the shitposting idiot who can't read to rank up.  Good job.

OP is on ignore.  He is the kind of person this system was designed to impede the progress of--shitposters who are only here because they get paid and who have no interest in reading or otherwise constructively contributing to bitcointalk.  You got your answer, OP.  Lock the thread before every single shitposter in existence stops by to give the same fucking answer.

Don't worry about your ranking. Read, learn and be a part of the community.  In time you'll get merits. Your value to the community is your participation - not your ranking.

Before you think merit as a newly jr.member in this forum you have to make sure that your opinion posted in one project is related on the topic you have commented if that happened then  people who are in the forum will give you merit without asking on it.

As a Jr. Member you can also join in signature campaign in bounties, you can still have stakes but not that many unlike with other. And there are some bounties who doesn't include Jr. Member to their campaigns.
All of us who is Jr. Member do our best to gain merits to have a higher rank.
Goodluck to us.

Like others said "you should probably try your best to improve your posts rather than thinking about merits," and you will be really amazed to see that you might get some merits from some generous members of this forum within a week or even in less time than that.

Merits are only worthy if you know what you are doing to have them, and the only and most important thing to do in this regard is "Information." if you inform the members of this forum about something really amazing by creating your own threads, and replying to all the comments of your thread then you chances of getting merits will be very higher. Other than this thing there is no other way for legitimately acquiring merits here.

Seems like the best thing to do is just post in the meta section, looking at a statistics thread previously I found that around 50% of all merits are distributed to posts in that section.

However, having had a browse through your post history, it looks more likely that you'll be negged eventually, rather than receiving merit. Work on posting higher quality material, original content and useful guides to help other newbies/jr members out.

Not to ask about it in Altcoin discussion part of forum.    Why you think themes about forum are should be part of altcoin discussions?   Why you don't post in Gambling sections or Chinese speaking part of forum?

Here or

here

is for sure a lot written about merit.
