If you do get into bitcoin, get in for the long long term, otherwise you'll only find disappointment.

Your best bet is sell your services, here in the marketplace section for example. If you can code, there is always work to do.
Sig campaings and faucets pay, but not a lot, its just a small nice extra while you post normally.

Bitcoin is very volatile due its experimental and early nature.

Bitcoin, if its a success, should be here in the next 10 years with a huge marketcap.

Using faucets is a good start to familiarize yourself on how does every transactions work in the bitcoin ecosystem. It is also a nice way for you to experience holding some coins as a start of your journey here.

Anyways, welcome to the world of bitcoin, and cryptocurrency as well! Smiley

So I've recently gotten into BTCitcoins and was wondering how to get my feet wet in this wonderful cryptocurrency.
It seems like registering here would of been a good way to start. My series of questions include:

  • Are faucets worth using to start off?
  • What would be the best ways to earn any crypto without purchasing?
  • Is BTCitcoin "just a fad that will die soon"?
  • How come the price of BTCitcoin fluctuates so much?
Hello!
You could visit our faucet every 60 minutes and get 100-1000 satoshi!
With our referral system you can get 101% more!

Welcome to cryptos!

Not really unless you like getting a few cents for a bit of work. Nice to get your first few coins but still not worth the effort. PrimeDice has a free faucet but you need to gamble it to be able to withdraw it but that takes up a lot of time but at least its fun in the process.[/list]

No. You will likely get just a few pennies an hour.
Provide a service for bitcoin, such as programming and advertising.
No. It is a great technology.

Are faucets worth using to start off?

100% no and 100% waste of time.

Earn them. It seems you can earn small amounts from signature campaigns though you need to be a Member or Full Member to earn a decent amount.

It could be a fad but  only time will tell. I think it's got a few years in it at least.

Supply and demand and people panic selling/buying.

    • No they are not, you'll end up wasting a lot of your time for nothing
    • Offer goods or services which can be exchanged for Crypto
    • No, who told you that?
    • It depends on Buy/Sell demand.

PS: You chose the right time to get in and the best way to get your feet wet is buy while it's low.

Well to start faucets wont earn you much at all unless you garner a lot of referrals that stay active, as for earning crypto there are ptc or task sites but they usually dont pay much and have a payout requirement.

Now that is very good in my opinion the signature campaign, but for a beginner is now very rare Smiley

Are faucets worth using to start off? - Faucets aren't worth it, you gotta be collecting for few days just to cover the fees.
What would be the best ways to earn any crypto without purchasing? Mining altcoins with low diff and selling them for btc for example or join some of the signature campaigns
Is BTCitcoin "just a fad that will die soon"? No that's bullshit be the people that sold and now are sad, it will rise for sure.
How come the price of BTCitcoin fluctuates so much? It's about offer and demand, miners dump all their coins as they want to cover their costs and i also belive there is some manipulation going on here.

Are faucets worth using to start off?

Not worth at all. If you want to earn some quick Bitcoin from faucet, try freebitco.in or weekendbitcoin.com. Just focus on one or two faucet(s) will do. Spending too much time on faucets will not make you a rich person - unless Bitcoin price raised to 10,000 suddenly..

What would be the best ways to earn any crypto without purchasing?

Signature campaign. Look at my signature. I have been earning a decent amount of Bitcoin for the past few week. I earn roughly four dollars per week. - better than faucet.

Is BTCitcoin "just a fad that will die soon"?

No, Bitcoin started in 2009 and now it is 2015. What do you think?

How come the price of BTCitcoin fluctuates so much?

Well.. Bitcoin is one of the hottest investment and so.. I do hope Bitcoin rate will be stable soon..

faucet is not worth, but if you start build a faucet that's worth for you.
the best way earn crypto without purchasing for me is sig campaign, join the contest, sell service.
i think bitcoin not die soon, still have bitcoin distribution periode.
the price fluctuates so much because supply/demand, especially "whales" who can manipulation market.

    • Are faucets worth using to start off?

    No.

    • What would be the best ways to earn any crypto without purchasing?

Crypto (espectially bitcoin) is money, it just isn't your local government issued money.  It isn't any more complicated than that.  Here, let me re-phrase your question for you.

"What would be the best ways to earn any foreign currency without  exchanging my local currency?"

    TANSTAAFL
You can provide a product or service desired by others in exchange for payment in bitcoin.
You can exchange your local government issued currency for bitcoin.
You can beg for people to give you their hard earned money out of the generosity of their hearts.
You can steal it or scam for it.

    • Is BTCitcoin "just a fad that will die soon"?

Some people think so.  Some people disagree.

Bitcoin is a highly volatile, risky, experiment in the decentralization of electronic value transfer.  Many think this is as revolutionary today as the internet was in the early 1980's. It is impossible to predict the future.

    • How come the price of BTCitcoin fluctuates so much?

Understanding that price is determined by the market forces of supply and demand:

The release of new supply is on a predictable and reliable schedule. Therefore, price is very sensitive to changes in demand.  It is still quite young, and being discovered by people that have never heard of it previously.  Enthusiasm and euphoria about the future prospects (as well as market manipulation by those with access to enough money to have a significant effect on demand) can create a demand bubble that drives the price up to unsustainable heights.  Dissapointment and depression (as well as market manipulation by those with access to enough money to have a significant effect on demand) can suppress demand driving the price down to unsustainable lows.  Over time, as the number of entities (individuals, businesses, goverments, etc) involved grows, the available bitcoins will be spread out thinner providing small groups of individuals and localized demand variations less influence on the market.  Perhaps the market may settle into a commonly accepted value.
