I'm interested in BTC for various reasons like many people, and just saying "hello"! : )

I've actually had a very hard time of it for a few years, had cancer just before college, got sick in college, homeless, isolated, indigent...homeless again (and somehow always working). These days I actually sleep on the floor of a garage--haha (it's not THAT bad actually), and my interest is, eventually, to use these sorts of technologies to lift people out of poverty in economies with liquidity traps because fiat won't move when banks are holding tight despite there still plenty of people willing to do work/pay for it.

Since it is a hello, an "About me" is customary where I come from:

I am working to go into business, though stuck behind making a site right now--struggling with working-out the brains and studying just to do that. I work about $6 under the pay of my last job in order to stay mobile (no other option), and can't marry my sweetheart due to circumstances. Sad Actually, we're fretting as she is on a Visa and may have to return home--there are insidious pressures there for women by families (traditionalist society).

Besides the ugly stuff, some worldly folks keep telling me that should I get the time I need to write a book, one once saying he could put my on Oprah in a week with the title I had. (I don't really like Oprah--fans please forgive me.) Lately the active life has been pretty boring, though thought life very ponderous (in other words, busy), so maybe I'll do just that (just not the Oprah part). The original topic had to do with experience with cancer, but now I think I'll extend the book to include how it is you go from nothing to self-sufficient in under a few years despite hardship, and also the inside-out of some large organizations (I've worked for) and some unique perspectives on stuff babbled incessantly about by the chattering classes without really being understood: I just see too much opportunity in so many things left unsaid in all the talking around problems. So the outlook on life is not all grim! Smiley
