If you want some accurate estimation for the recommended fees, check this out: https://coinb.in/#fees

The mempool looks fine so It might take some hours but it will eventually get confirmed. I submitted your TXID to some services I had bookmarked but not sure If they're still working, hope it helps.

Thanks for the help, mate. Smiley

About 7K transaction with size 6.7MB (no idea the size in weight unit), no wonder your transaction is stuck. If you're not patient, just use RBF if the wallet support that feature or look for TX accelerator on Services section (even though i doubt it really works).

Also, it's no surprise about high TX fees and slow confirmation time since SegWit and change to block weight limit isn't enough as scaling solution without sacrifice decentralization.

I've used the Replace By Fee method in order to try to increase the fee if such situation occurs, but accidentally sent the whole amount in urgency due to which I can't even add anything to it ATM. But I believe that it should get confirmed today itself and shouldn't take more than 3-4 hours at the most. This was just a test but sometimes, it proves to be very painful when you try to check something and the experiment goes wrong.

You can see the mempool here - https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#1,4d

Looks like you timed it poorly - the mempool started filling up just an hour or so before you made your transaction. If you had made the transaction an hour earlier, chances are it would have confirmed quickly, as you can see other transactions with very low fees confirming in under 20 minutes: https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/ab844143090e558a2903e9ab69294ed5f9b41425093ad2621cebbc2e77219efc

You can also see on the first link that for the last week or so the mempool has been pretty much emptying overnight, between around midnight and 06.00 UTC. Your fee is very low at only 0.5 sat/B, but should confirm by this evening at the latest.

I guess the days of taking advantage of low fees will be going missing again, soon.

Today some turbulence happened on the market, not sure if it was a bull trap, a pump an dump or something related to Tether.
The result was that everybody's arbitrage bots came into action resulting in tons of transactions. So indeed, right now the fees you need are bigger.
I expect that if nothing special happens again, in a couple of hours - less than a day - the mempool gets back to normal and even your ultra-low fee could go thru.
After all, with minimum fee you can't really expect the transaction always go thru in less than 1h...

Next time check the sites that show the fees before sending, it could make your life easier.

P.S.: If possible, someone please accelerate this transaction and help me get this confirmed asap as I don't want to wait being stuck in a mess I created myself.  Undecided Embarrassed

Acceleration is usually not for free. Even the established accelerators require some 10 sat/byte fee, so you are out of luck.
You will find though sites and individuals claiming they'll accelerate your tx, but they'll actually only re-broadcast it.

The solutions I see are either patience, either CPFP.

Hey miners, what have you been up to?
https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/fb266692b2b43d511be23f6de16c9eeb63af331f9c444b65a07ccf076c89b695

Check this out, a SegWit transaction, fee that was recommended by the wallet itself (GreenBits wallet it is) and Voila! It's now stuck. I can't believe fees are once again playing games as even transactions with fee less than 1 sat/byte used to confirm in the next block but I guess it's not going to be the same anymore. It's almost more than an hour and I'm still waiting, I wanted to see what will happen with the least fee as I'm aware about GreenBits fee structure they use during sending a transaction. I guess the days of taking advantage of low fees will be going missing again, soon.

P.S.: If possible, someone please accelerate this transaction and help me get this confirmed asap as I don't want to wait being stuck in a mess I created myself.  Undecided Embarrassed
