If ETH would be the first coin while still using the characteristics of the current bitcoin then ETH would be at the same place as BTC is today.

interesting wishful thinking. when the price of bitcoin goes down as if you blame bitcoin and replace it with another that has a good price on the market. all of that has its time, remember that crypto is fluctuating where prices can change significantly over time. what needs to be done at this time is to only support and be sure of the coins that you currently have. Actually your thought is an illusion, I don't see any coin fit for Bitcoin's position. I'm talking about decentralized architecture. Ethereum might not have scales through probably if it was the first, just saying. Yes, I'm a big fan of ETH but the fact remains that even many new projects claiming to have more robust architectures and high TPS do not still compare to BTC, imagine the number of users of BTC, check the market cap and yet transactions still go through although with some network clogs.
Bitcoin being the forest, is enjoying that special grace, so if ethereum has been the first, it will also enjoy it.

Then it would be the number one. If the current features of ethereum is the main function of it assuming it is the first coin, then it would be great for a lot of users since it offers features that are not included with bitcoin. It will just as popular as bitcoin right now.
I think that these functions are not included in Bitcoin just now. In the future, Bitcoin will have the same options and ETH will not be needed at that time.

I am not sure that we have anyone that is better than bitcoin till date, even when they all come out to claim they have a better system to that of bitcoin. So name is not what matters alone, if the function of Ethereum can tally with that of bitcoin, then it will definitely be the highest valued coin that will be in the market till date, and maybe we might never have known bitcoin.

I guess ethereum is already quite big, it was created by different people but has so much potential and so many use cases that it became the second (and sometimes third) biggest coin, plus ripple was created very early on as well and it has been on the second spot as well (mostly on third) even though I hate them.
So, long story short if ethereum or ripple were created by satoshi himself and were the first coins I am pretty sure they would become this big as well, maybe the whole market would change and prices would change and so forth but in the long run they would be on the top that is for sure, even if that means less marketcap and not improving crypto world. Being the first one always has privileges, bitcoin is clearly not the best coin in technical sense but it is the most expensive one because its the first one.

I have never thought that far before, because bitcoin is always synonymous with satoshi nakamoto and Ethereum with Vitalik buterin. For now I just imagine if ethereum the price is not much different from bitcoin. Of course it will look interesting, meaning that there is a fairly tight competition.

And if it happens it would not be the same when it comes to the value that you assume of ethereum because the total supply is far different from one another and we knew clearly that supply of any goods even with digital currency has tremendous effect on its value. Can't really imagine that this will happen.

It's much harder for Ethereum to reach $11,000 because of it's much higher supply(currently more than 6 times of BTC's supply). But yeah, essentially if it did reach that price, it would be a bullrun driver, as many tokens are built on Ethereum.
It won't happen as you think, if ethereum will more than 100M of supply then the value wouldn't be more than $11,000.

No. This is just a wishful thinking. Some people still do not understand how value enters into a product, IEO put an end to Ether prices because there is simply no demand for it, just look at the rate how most of the ERC 20 tokens are migrating to Binance change in search of value. Ethereum was built on a sloppy ground and is telling on the network now

Yeah if that would have been the case Eth would have easily been the king of all the coins but still i think eth is number one choice of serious investors and holders and pitential upside for eth is still huge.

No. The first coin would have been still (a) Bitcoin, but it would have had smart contracts.
What would have happened then? Well, the code would have been cleaner and better maintained, some things would have been thought better so certain token hacks would have not been happening, no ETH/ETC split also... all in all possibly the coin price would have been bigger. But Bitcoin also deserves a much higher price and still doesn't have it.
I can't imagine people playing the kitty game on main net though
