People trying to keep the green exclusive..
It wouldn’t be that big of a deal if people didn’t make it that big of a deal..

It's true that there are a lot of people lurking around for feedback farming; they are mostly in lending section and surprisingly they are successful.
Nevertheless, thanks for the explanation. I have seen this in couple of threads, hence, I asked.

(though for the life of me I can't remember an example, but I'm sure other members could).
With my lending business I face this very often. These days I do not have many clients but when I had my business at the peak, I had few users who took loan and had this expectation that they will get a feedback from me. I do give out feedback but only when I am satisfied after making X number of trade. X is not a constant, X here is a random number until I am sure enough that it's time.

I am very conservative on leaving feedback by the way.

And that X should largely depend on the intention of the opposite party as you said that likewise, someone will only trade with you or anyone who is a DT, but with that tag, a responsibility is also attached to those holding it, not to share it with anyone like a chocolate bar and should understand that their one mistake of giving a wrong positive feedback to someone may let the entire community regret at some point of time because people go blind when they see that green number under a person's trust ratio.

Most of the time (because I'm usually selling bitcoin) I'm the one bearing most of the risk in the transaction anyway, so it's not like the counterparty has demonstrated true trustworthiness.
@The Pharmacist you are correct, users want to trade with DT/reputable users not only to receive whatever is on the other side of the deal, but also the possibility of a positive feedback, I'm sure it makes trading somewhat 'uncomfortable' for users on DT, you'll not want to leave a positive feedback and a user uses it as decoy to scam in the future (and then get a portion of the blame).

Users who trade and aren't on DT should know they can also leave feedbacks for their trade partner (on DT or not) if they consider them trustworthy. Just like you said above, no matter who bears the most risk in a trade, the feedback is always expected from the user on DT, when in most cases it should be the other way round, and should not matter if the feedback appears on the users profile by default or not, that's correct use of the trust system imo.

This prevents the feedback farmers to make unnecessary noise. There are users who will only get interested with The Pharmacist just to get a positive feedback since he is on DT.
That's exactly it.  I'm very conservative when it comes to leaving positive feedback since I'm on DT, and I don't want a bunch of newbies or trust-seekers flooding my inbox with requests to trade because they think I'm going to leave them a positive trust--and that's been a real problem in the past (though for the life of me I can't remember an example, but I'm sure other members could).

Most of the time (because I'm usually selling bitcoin) I'm the one bearing most of the risk in the transaction anyway, so it's not like the counterparty has demonstrated true trustworthiness.  Personally, I'd rather all of my deals be feedback-free but I understand some members do want to build a trade history.  Anyway, that's the reason.

Please notice- It's not an accusation.
No offense taken at all, my man.  It's a legitimate question.

Edit:

By the way, I think my inspiration for including that phrase in all of my Currency Exchange threads is because I got scammed by a green-trusted member in 2016, and he had only one positive feedback from a DT member for a deal that was relatively insignificant.  Believe me, you don't want to give someone a net green trust score unless they really deserve it, because some people just look at the color and think "this person is trusted"--which is exactly what I did when I got scammed.

Although if the trade is good and satisfactory and it happens frequently then with somehow established user, I do not see any problem to leave a feedback.

This is not an accusation against The Pharmacist, nor it objects any kinda drama. I'm just curious why anyone would need to point out that they will get a neutral feedbacm before having trade? I'm quoting The Pharmacist here-
This will be a neutral feedback transaction.
Where's the need of this actually?
Please notice- It's not an accusation. I'm curious about the necessity of using this. No drama please.
