Yay, I win 1.42421356!

Payment address is 1Nz8tdcuxH4TSSWQWVSGUBYERsDTNZWiza

Sent. Don't spend the 0.01 above what you paid in one place!

Received, thanks!  Psychology lesson: by laying down a large bet to take the small pot I offered roughly 2:1 odds to the next player.  However, the next player would offer the following player 3:1 odds, a better deal than he got.  At this point it becomes about who has the most liquid bitcoins, so nobody wants to play.  It was a bluff, since I don't have enough to back it up, but it worked, and I made roughly 0.7% on my investment.  Probably not my best wager, but I'll take it.

If your payment hits blockexplorer one hour and one second after the prior payment, you are among the losers.

This might be a good reason to include a fee in your transaction.  Smiley

I have sent a satoshi-level approximation of the square root of 2.

By the way, for us non-math nerds, this translates to 1.41421356

I just realized that I would have an unfair advantage in this game, being able to see payments in the wallet before they hit blockexplorer, so I will be participating no more. You're welcome, winner, for the 0.01 donation from me. Smiley

This is a psychology experiment. Let's see if this auction goes anywhere at all.

The rules:

1) Highest bidder at the end of the auction gets all bitcoins in 167gBwPnorxou8mKF2CUr95y7xdfgpfxsd at auction's end.

2) To bid, you must actually send the amount of your bid to 167gBwPnorxou8mKF2CUr95y7xdfgpfxsd (that's right, every bidder pays their bid whether they win or not)*.

3) Immediately after adding it (before the payment makes it to blockexplorer so someone else can claim it), you must post the amount of the payment you made here.

3) Auction ends when no payment has hit blockexplorer exactly 1 hour after a prior payment hits blockexplorer (according to the times listed in blockexplorer for the transaction). If your payment hits blockexplorer one hour and one second after the prior payment, you are among the losers.

4) Within 12 hours of auction end, I will send the entire contents of the wallet to the winner.

*To be clear, the amount you send is not totaled cumulatively. The current high bidder must send that amount in 1 transaction.
