I recently bought two 5970s from a friend and have been trying to set them up last night.

The best settings I have been able to achieve is around 252Kh/s per core (x4) so just around 1MH/s.

From what I've seen I should be able to get at least 350KH/s per core - around 1.4MH/s.

I'm using Xubuntu 12.04 with the latest commit of sgminer + ATI Driver 13.35.5 and SDK 2.9

These are the settings I'm using:
Code:
--lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 8192 -g 1 -I 17 -w 256

Anyone else with these cards care to share your settings? Core clocks, memory clocks and voltage?

Any help is appreciated,

Thanks.

Your driver/SDK are too new. Try going back to the 12.8 driver, and the SDK 2.6.

Also, the LTC hardware wiki says a lot of people are using a TC of 8000, not 8192 or anything. Try that? Also up your -I to I:20.

with engine:790 mem:915 I:18 conc:8196 (works somehow better than 8192) I get stable 370x2 from the cards. I even got more with engine:875 mem:1200 but couldn't stabilize and couldn't find time to work on it. I'm using win7 with 13 beta + sdk 2.9 + sgminer 410. try shutting down all afterburner, trixx etc before running, they effect in one of my rig with 7950's.
