That seems to be about his bASIC thing that he had going on. There is a whole fiasco about that business. Not to say it might not carry over to the FPGA orders, but from what I have been reading he might still send me my FPGA to regain some face and keep his business. Correct me if I am wrong.

......

I asked you about him. And to answer you just from what it seems like; he is trying to save face over the bASIC fiasico. So do you have any solid evidence that he WONT ship me my FPGA?
You seem to have a lot of information about Tom, especially for someone who doesn't know anything about the product itself, asking the same question about what OS is best supported in 4 different subforums.

....okay

I am just worried that I won't get my FPGA and bitcoin transfers are irreversible so sorry if I am trying to spread the news that i want information.

Speaking of info...do you have any?

Just to relieve my stress, what evidence do you have that he is scamming me and I wont't have an FPGA?

Well I was able to buy one with bitcoin off btcfpga.com ...do you think I got scammed?
Short answer: ya

Long answer: Tom used to be legit, but I don't think so anymore.

CGMiner works quite well with Ubuntu, esp if it's just for FPGA usage.

But besides that, you might have other issues to worry about. I know Tom went off the deep end months ago, but are they even still selling those Modminers?! I'd be surprised if you get it at all.

I just bought a ModMiner QUAD from www.btcfpga.com and was wondering what flavor of linux will be best suited for running this miner?

Any help is appreciated!
