You are lucky that you already know that you were phished. I hope you have already changed some passwords and other information you may submit there. I hope it didn't damage you financially. Be careful next time.

Hopefully you didn't suffer any financial loss. It’s a real shame so many people in life do not have a moral compass. Scum bags seemingly everywhere, karma will see that these people do not live a long, healthy, happy life.

... Sorry for your loss dude.

Did you read the post?

It would have been a alarming case if discord has inbuilt crypto wallet, I don't think this is dangerous to wallets that aren't inside discord itself, this looks like taking over your discord account rather than hacking into your crypto wallets, unless you can connect metamask for example with discord? I have never done that before or seen such.

Yes it's discord account phishing + metamask scam attempt too.

So when interacting with the bot and atleast you connect your metamask on those thats where only you got phished? Is that correct? Im asking cause before I got verified by that bot as well but I didnt connect my wallet metamask for any related announcement or page on discord. Also how strong this malicious attempt by the scammers? Sorry for your loss dude.

I'm not really familiar with script, but based on my experience I can connect my Metamask to some sites via mobile. Have you installed Metamask mobile version?

It's unexpected because in discord channel often ask to verify the captcha, this is a new lesson for anyone to not easily believe about captcha. Same as auto download on telegram, someone installed a malware on his phone.

If you feel your wallet isn't safe anymore, better to sweep your private key.

Joined a discord server a week back, was greeted with captcha from captcha bot, completed and forgot about it.

Now, today I see this message from the same channel,

It dawned on me that I was phished... Everything appears to be intact however.

From bit reading, it appears that this used to ask to connect to metamask after you complete captcha. May be its due to that I was on mobile and their script didn't run?

Anyway, to be safe,  changed password (as it resets token and resets you out of all logged in sessions), enabled 2fa and removed apps from 'authorized apps'.
