i just wanted to add, i have 4+ different wallets so its hard to memorize all these passwords and 2fa + 2nd passwords to send

but yeah, luckily even if i did get permanently locked, that particular wallet only had 5% of my total btc's.

i would be so pissed and stressed if it was one of my main wallets

So, just want to warn you guys. REMEMBER your passwords, WRITE IT DOWN and PUT IT IN A SAFE JUST IN CASE, ESPECIALLY FOR FAMILY OR IF YOU DIE

I have access to my MAIN password, but i rarely SPEND on it. Well today I wanted to do a test and just realized I forgot I had set a 2nd password to send money, well I spent the last 2 hours trying to figure it out and just about gave up.

I NEVER recovered the 2nd password, however, here is a lesson to be learned:

1) BACK up your wallets, have at least ONE non encrypted wallet in case you forget your 2nd password so you can still recover it.

but it works both ways, someone might be able to steal your unencrypted wallet and steal your funds even though you have your new wallet encrypted so in that case

1) DELETE ANY OLD UNENCRYPTED WALLETS, just because your wallet is now encrypted, you can easily lose it or have it stolen if someone for example accesses your e-mail with your OLD unencrypted wallet.

TLDR: i forgot my 2nd password, spent 2 hours, i never figured it out. i was able to recover it by finding an old unencrypted wallet and recovering it. remember your passwords or at least hide 1 unencrypted wallet in a safe. the opposite holds true, destroy any unencrypted wallets or they can steal your funds even if it is encrypted now.
