Still I'm wondering why that certain attachment was deleted. Oh well.
Several unwanted features of the forum are literally disabled (in hardcoded way, probably even removed scripts/files) which decreases the potential risk of security vulnerabilities in those unused functionalities. Here some more examples. Attachments feature is also completely disabled, which is why you cannot see it anymore. It has nothing to do with that specific attachment.

What a life story, tnx for posting this. It's always good to read a real life story, i believe there is a lot of people ruined cause of government's so we need to be aware of how easily that can happen to everyone. I hope he will be ok in future and that his fellow man will help him like he helped them.

So he had 371,000 bitcoins and didn't particularly profit from it? I guess it takes hindsight to know anything else.

Is hindsight even a good thing? Isn’t there a reason we don’t know the future?  For me this ups and downs are life, this guy who had 371 000 btc in one moment of his life was one of his ups, he could stay there but life had other plans...

I'm just curious as to what does that page mean, turns out there is a lot more to this man's story. Interesting.  Smiley

371 067 bitcoins? Wow this is incredible if u calculate 371 067 with price of bitcoin now 240 $ its 89 000 000 $ what kind of house he sold? its to much I think do u think this is real? And like guy above me said what if he still have it and hold it for price rise its above imagination...

its back from the days when btc was low i guess. dunno exact date

I think one bitcoin was worth ~37 dollars, read here:

Quote
Entrepreneur Taylor More listed his two-bedroom Alberta bungalow, asking 405,000 Canadian dollars (£261,000; $395,000) - or the equivalent in Bitcoins.

He says the first reaction of his family was that of a shock.

Bitcoins are now a widely used alternative payments system and one Bitcoin is currently worth about £37.

I really hope this bro sells his house for BTC.  It'd be a huge boon for us.  I toats would if I had enough money or had any desire to live in Alberta.

As I was browsing the forums, I came to stumble upon this thread in search of a thread wherein the person sold his house for bitcoins sometime on 2014, and it redirected me to this. The figures fascinated me, so I continued to search for the missing pic attachment. Are there any copies of the attachment in the thread regarding that 300k + bitcoins in archive or is it lost forever just for security reasons? It's not that I'm eager to know, I'm just curious to see that kind of sum in a wallet.

EDIT: Found this on reddit

Still I'm wondering why that certain attachment was deleted. Oh well.
