I looked about the project and it seems to be active on github. It's a mineable coin exclusively a POS through node. Most of the documents are in Chinese so a native Chinese user may tell more about it. It doesn't seem to be listed on any exchanges and probably it's still the testing network. They would need to list it somewhere or airdrop somehow before enabling a POS only scheme.

You can take a look at that link as well.
In my opinion if you should tried to verify such rumour again whether that' true or fake rumour. if kaleido was creating a real partnership with AWS and it doesn't make sense if this coin is not yet listing anywhere.
