But I think they actually do not care about crypto, they have so much money without that.
Like what I'm thinking of.

As long as they get the money and promote it with a simple tweet but advertising bitcoin, no one will ever pay her for that.

Seems like the most known name in the world and influencer didn't play any big role in popularization of bitcoin.
We may or not need an actual influencer that just promotes for money, we need the one that has knowledge and understands what bitcoin really is. Anyway, even without them bitcoin will thrive and will eventually get the recognition that it needs through adoption.

Crap. Everyone know that Kardashians promote only those things they get payments for. Her Twitter post was a
simple showing off, like "look i am so trandy, i know what bitcoin is". But I think they actually do not care about crypto, they have so much money without that.
Crypto is also a money, and I don't think these girls are not smart enough to research more about bitcoin. They will simply say the words what has been told to her!

The short publicity was enough. I'm sure any other celeb could have provided it but still, publicity is publicity. People can always dig that Tweet later to point out that this "celeb" at least own some BTC.

more 'stupid' money in this space will only make the markets more volatile. doubt anyone with more than half a brain follows this balloon goon.

Well in case that happens, we'll just need to deal with it. If they panic and sell off for example, then we take advantage and buy. Their loss. Could definitely make for a more exciting ride.

Anyone who thinks this was not a big win for crypto is not seeing the facts straight. Fact, Kim has a zillion Instagram followers and even just mentioning it briefly in a couple posts did some real good in terms of adoption. Millions of people will ( and do ) blindly listen to the Kardashian’s and want to do what they do.

The kialara bar ( cold storage ) was given to her by Matthew Rozsak who’s notorious for handing out loaded Kialaras to big time celebs such as Kim, Steve Wozniak, and Bill Clinton, among others.

When I first saw this I texted Kialara who was actually unaware at the time. Created tremendous buzz for bitcoin and Kialara ( which were selling like hot cakes on eBay and for big premiums because of Kim).

Don’t forget Kanye is a crypto enthusiast who actually tried starting a coin of his own (which I don’t believe was ever created ).   Note : I can’t say all this without sharing my disgust for the Kardashian’s and Kanye. However I’ll take the publicity!

Ah, the Kartrashians. Famous for being famous.  Roll Eyes

I think the main reason is what many have already said - there's no money to be made endorsing bitcoins. I can see them endorsing some shitcoins that they have a large share of but not BTC, not even ETH.

Rather have it this way. Imagine the people that actually idolize this family. Now imagine them joining the community in droves, fleeing at the slightest dip and bad-mouthing BTC on Twitter.

Have you seen any celebrity promoting the dollar? "Y'all, this currency is great, it's what they call like, um "reserve"... like that shit or somethin. Go get em [insert minions' collective term]! Love yah!"

Yeah that. I can see them promoting some other shitcoin but not bitcoin since there's no owner to coordinate with.

Because no one will for pay her to promote stuffs,so she didn't take any effort to make bitcoin more popular among her followers.

This. That is how they basically make their money. Which is funny coz, what are they really? They're not actresses. How these people are relevant baffles me.
Show cleavage and attract more people but basically these promotions will not attract the real customers.Thank God bitcoin don't need such kind of pornography advertisers.

In circus of followers it's known that Kim got her first bitcoin on a poker tournament like a year and half ago. It was even on her Twitter. But what next? Seems like the most known name in the world and influencer didn't play any big role in popularization of bitcoin.
-snip-

I will tell you why it didn't help. She poses like a rich person. Having 1 physical bitcoin it's a rich detail; this way it won't help to make bitcoin more popular, it's like the right thing to have in her case.

How can you be rich and have no bitcoin? I heard that from some local stars where I live and I find it usual.

We need to promote more the crypto and the usage of it but stop promoting the bitcoin

Some people it is best they don't feature in your mind when you think Bitcoin. Increased speed of awareness could balance out the pain. No matter. I think they store some. Their finance invest advisers will maybe percentage in cryptos. Accumulating before influence others. This best way for them.

I don't think she advertise for free and that may be the reason at the same time, she might not be lover and holder of crypto currency this could be another reason why she's not promoting Bitcoin and crypto currency in general.

I believe currently the biggest celebrity pushing Bitcoin and Crypto is Spencer Dinwiddie https://twitter.com/SDinwiddie_25/status/1215640393204871168   He will tokenize his contract on Monday. and he promised to give bitcoins to all his teamates if he gets in All Star in February.

Bitcoin will find its own way when people starts to use their own brains rather than what celebrities promoting or saying.
