If that hack is fake and customers dont get funds back the 7k stolen could be bullish due to people buying back coins.  Depends if the "hackers" dump the 7k though.

it's not strange ... it's a non-ANSI langage ... (ru, chn, jap, kor, ukr) ... and with the "darkcoin" sign (but it's forum glitch, i think ...).

It's weird tho

How far can these 7k coins be tracked?
We can see all the transactions so far but if the hacker wanted to cash out then I'm guessing the coins would be sent to 1 of the mixing services available then onto an exchange.
I don't know alot about mixing because never had to use this service but will a coin mixer even take coins they know are from a hack?

I did see a lot of transactions marked 'bitstamp hack' not long ago but not yet from this hack.
The entire point of using a mixer is to keep them hidden from people who track them. Mixers don't care where they come from and don't require any personal info. Worthwhile ones anyway.

With four exchanges shut down or ripped off in the last two weeks, there are some crooks out there trying to unload a lot of Bitcoins.

Crashes after hacked exchanges are so 2014...
Yeah and now Monday has to tell us a story of its own after the fact. LTC/BTC is ok as of now which is inverse of what BTC/
USD has offered in the same timeframe. Let's see what how the table looks after we spin it.

I don't think that 7k has made it into the open market just yet. It could be some psychological selling in reaction to the news event.

The 7000 BTC has been split into 7 1000 BTCs and are staying there. This reduction may be caused by panic but certainly not due to any dump by the hacker.

Came here to say that!

Here were the 7170 BTC https://blockchain.info/address/18ywz63JuUjsQ9kWyKs48dnRd2w1Hix7FY
then here are
1000BTC https://blockchain.info/address/1KPNHv8mfMPNivHptAiwwytUVZmzovVF8f
1000BTC https://blockchain.info/address/1AFbZuU5PufViRhNCChw8br6beo6K78r2H
1000BTC https://blockchain.info/address/1MgM7WMAVteJ3k4PqfyB9AKdaBnHvdxvdG
1000BTC https://blockchain.info/address/14kgEXiKWCN46BEHVNwYjyuohFN83Uc5Jt
1000BTC https://blockchain.info/address/1J4TJQKgh1phPMcsV8cbRkAhV2Q6V8wW25
1000BTC https://blockchain.info/address/1Q2MxBc9Zbe6A35mTcD5jyU8PMr4K6oqGC
1000BTC https://blockchain.info/address/1Muse5NL7nDPPHVreF2Gkq5wv5XLbC2Qtz

and the 170BTC were distributed to a few addresses here https://blockchain.info/address/1812GWjALf17QPvn4pRRkpSJ3Qt6kx7w2e

What all those 7 addresses with 1000BTC each have in common is this transaction

Should wear off in two days as in 2 days over 7k  BTC is easily minted

We don't know yet if the dump was that 7K or was it people scared of that and dumping their coins

7K doesn't seem like enough to cause such a price drop. I expect there are other reasons that have nothing to do with the hack.

It may be a psychological effect of the news, causing people to exchange back to fiat, but I don't think this is anything to do with 7K BTC.
