Thank you so much for your replies I appreciated all your suggestions I think I should wait for Black Friday or maybe if I can manage to save some I should by a Nano Ledger S. I think I've read things that I needed to know I will now lock this thread.

mikelsmith2020, I see that KeepKey price is $49+shipping, and with 50% off
I paid $5 on Black Friday, but shipping was about 5 times more. I made several posts about my experience in Yes, the Keepkey is a worthless black bricklet, and the end result is that I put it back in it's box. I don't recommend buying it.

I don't have some extra bitcoin to buy ledger nano X
If you can't afford an expensive hardware wallet, you probably don't need one. I bought the cheapest Ledger (also on Black Friday) and so far it's okay. Here too I don't like the user interface much, but with Electrum it works as expected.

From what I've read (but I haven't tested it), Trezor is better. I may get one on Black Friday too.

This is the first I've heard of him. I do not trust little-known crypto companies, because of too frequent scams and quick closures.
You may not have heard of it but it's one of the hardware wallets that's being suggested by bitcoin.org.

But as they say, I'd recommend and choose Ledger or Trezor than Keepkey. You can save a little bit more for allocating your budget for a trezor or ledger nano s mikel.

who doesn't have enough budget and wanted to invest on a cheap but good hardware wallet it's a good offer for me just wondering if they're good or not.

If you stay on Bitcoin only or at least don't play with many different altcoins, Nano S is just fine and imho Nano X is wasted money.
And if with the current 20% off is still too expensive, wait for better offers.

Meanwhile, especially if you know a bit more about computers, you can use a TailsOS USB stick with Electrum as cold storage (just make sure it never goes online and also make sure you keep your seed written on paper). You may need some reading to do it right and it's not as convenient as a hardware wallet, but it'll be safe.

here's a review from a user i actually trust:

Same user, but I think this shows even better how satisfied he is with the device in question :

mikelsmith2020, I see that KeepKey price is $49+shipping, and with 50% off it is certainly cheaper than Ledger or Trezor, and it's up to you to decide whether to buy this device or some other. Maybe the security of what you’re going to store on it isn’t so questionable, but some other things certainly are. Ledger currently has a 20% off on their wallets, and that discount can go up to 50%, so if you can wait for Black Friday or the Christmas/New Year holidays you could get a Nano S for some $35.

Hello I don't know where to put this topic so i just posted it here, I don't have some extra bitcoin to buy ledger nano X so I do some research to find some alternative hardware wallets that is a bit cheaper and I find Keepkey wallet I also read reviews on youtube and other blogs but I think I should ask the experience of the forum in regards with this wallet.

Does anyone tried this? What could be the pros and cons of this hardware wallet?

IIRC, the keepkey wallet is tightly integrated with shapeshift. If you don't have enough funds to buy a nano X, why don't you buy a nano S or a trezor one?

I found out that they have a 50% off code so I think for someone like me who doesn't have enough budget and wanted to invest on a cheap but good hardware wallet it's a good offer for me just wondering if they're good or not.

Thanks for the link by the way.
