If you mean you want to increase the size of the keypool, that is, pregenerate more addresses to include in backups, you want the "keypool" option. This can either be given on the command line, for example, /path/to/bitcoin-qt -keypool=1000, or added as a line in bitcoin.conf.
Anyone able to direct me to information on increasing the size of available wallet addresses to generate?
