The thing wey dey baffle my mind na how dem fit take kill that kind number of soldiers including very high ranking officers. Shey dem trick them to drop gun abi dem ambush them? Even if them ambush them at least some go still fit do something. Omo the story look somehow and you go hardly hear the real gist on how them take kill them. Or them drop them gun go catch fun.

Well the point be say our security men don dey compromised and that na why dem dey use dem to go threaten people on matters.  I don dey search for the real thing wey happen but all na hearsay. Anyway, RIP for them as dey bury dem today.

If our government are wise this people will not go free for what they just did, imagine the Nigeria army force , those people who have sworn to protect our life in other to make peace, this same people left their families, children, wife ,dad, and others and try to protect us but we pay them back by killing them, this is the end of the world, because I heard that if the end is ending we the humans will become the lions that will be hunting each other, i don’t see anything wrong by this force try to separate fight, they are the people who can settle everything that is happening or related to conflict because that is their duties but see how the unreasonable human being do to them.

I have been hearing about delta state and how they treated the army for us not today, they said they treated the force like they were animals and sometimes the force don’t even like wearing their uniform in the streets because of how they hate them, this delta state have become one of the state that they don’t want to follow the government rules, although we all know that the government system is bad this days but we can’t disobey the rules because of that, they have to do something about this if not it will continue happening.

With all sense of belonging the killing of 16 men of Nigeria Army as a result of communal crisis between two communities called Okuama and Koloba in Ughelli south Local Government Area of Delta State is totally condemable.
When two people are fighting it's certain that the third party will be in the position to make peace so why killing the military officer that were assign to bring peace to the two communities and saved the life of innocent citizens.
Sometimes I wonder what some Nigeria youth gain in taking life and creating havoc instead of being good ambassadors of peace and crave for development that will make them a better
person in the future. In otherwise, if the time and the energy they are using to constitute nuisance can be channel into better things like learning a skill or even venturing into learning the process involve in Bitcoin investment it would have help them become great in life then destroying their future in the alter of foolishness and stupidity
My Brother, delta youth are law abiding..Nigeria military are fond of flexing muscles on the youth.I think something must have triggered the youth to that extend..

See Nigeria is really confused. I don’t know if the confession is from our government or the citizen I don’t know the reason why we will just start cleaning, so just for no reason just because of we are fighting or having a lot of misunderstanding, we don’t really have respect for our government officials because of they don’t have respect for the citizen so any opportunity during crisis we always make of it to attack the government because no one like their attitude

This kind actions by most of our youth is very sad and regrettable because as it stands, na mostly people wey no know anything about it, nai go suffer almost all the repercussions of their actions, just look at how the military enter the community in question come dy  destroy and kill innocent people, because I believe say the main people wey commit that evil act don run which is very bad.

Another thing is how Dem go feel if their brother wey dy for army die just like the way them kill those men, forgetting say them get families wey rely on them, the only thing wey I no ever like for this situation na innocent people wey come dy follow suffer for wetin Dem no know, the perpetrators should not go unpunished abeg.

This kind evil act they condemnable anywhere in the world, soldiers wey be peace keepers, protectors of the nation against external attacks and forces killed in such manner, no Na, Things like this fit cause reprisal from the military on the communities involved If we fit remember far back 1999, how this kind thing being make The then president Obasanjo burn down one village for Bayelsa called Odi, Attack on any military personnel on official duty is not just an attack on the military, it's an attack on our national security, attack on the president, and the good people of Nigeria, in as much as them kill soldiers for that community, make military use wisdom investigate, before them carry out any military action against the community, becos innocent people wey know nothing about the attack still dey the community so them no go suffer from waiting them know nothing about.

I never knew something like this happened, maybe I was too busy to read the news. I'm totally disappointed right now, from what you said it looks they were on a neutral ground on both communities as to bring them into settlement but what a devil like behavior displayed, how has killing of this army men contributed to the resolvement of the ongoing disputes. It is high time we begin to evacuate illetracy from our mindset and adopt literacy, shedding of blood is not compulsorily needed in this kind of communal dispute, I hope they get justice for the deceased family.

It it so sad that our soldiers will meet unfortunate and untimely deaths while trying to bring peace between two communities that are involved in communal crisis, despite the corruption that is going on in the military but yet this people are our defense in times of war and terrorism so why killing people that have vowed to protect us just in an ordinary communal clash, it is very painful and people fail to learn from history because i believe that this kind of act in the past also led to military massacre in Odi region of Bayelsa state. Let us protect our armed forces because they are our backbone in times of war

The issue goes beyond the way it's dispose to the public as many hidden facts is yet to be revail, as much I am concerned South south youth are very peaceful people as they title the move by military peace keeping and having know that there is no war ongoing killing this number of soldiers need thoroughly investigated what leads to that. The problem with this country is that we hardly display the truth to the public but showcases lies to make it suits our political ambitious desire.

The president ordering the military to go and the military destroying the innocent sold and structure don't solve problem all the leaders in that comment including local government chairman down to CDC need to be summon because nothing happened with the knowledge of this people in the community if they go by destroying people that will give them the real information on how to catch the perpetrator that mean they are not solving problem but making it worse. Our security need intelligent than any thing when they are not working together with the people they think they can conquer with the people, this is one of the reasons why insecurities keep rising you can't be killing the innocent and expect to get information from them, killing of military is very bad and condemning but they would have apply higher intelligent buy drawing near to the innocent gather information and catch the perpetrator. In develop country it's human intelligence that make them get result easily but in Nigeria they don't regards human intelligent because if your not showing love to the people how do you expect them to Tell you helpful fact. Their actions is wrong if they are carrying this directly to the victim.

I must condemn this in totality, though we don't know what actually happened but the truth is that this are government personnel and in Nigeria there is no rule of law so anything is expected to happen anytime, the military going further to burn houses and other properties is not part of the game, if there should be resolution in the real sense, things are suppose to done rightly but in Nigeria everyone behaves the way they like and no matter what you do, this will not stop until the government do something about it. We have heard that army recorded high casualties may be that's why they acted the way they did but it is uncalled for.

The most annoying issue about this killing is that the President has ordered the military to go to the community which is wrong, they went there now and killed the innocent people at the village after the incident and burnt their houses which has now made us to recall the Odi incident in 1999.

We are talking about the insecurity in our country in the northern region wisdom need to be applied in situations like these to avoid insecurity in this region because, the East are also having their own insecurity.

It's easy to point accusing fingers on the locals for killing those army officers when you've not been involved in communal crisis and solders are being sent to oppress you. I Condemn the killing of the army officers in it entirety but let's also understand that sometimes politicians make use of this soldiers for their own personal gains and when locals are left with no option than fighting these solders just to defend their mother land and one of the soldiers are killed in the process, it pains them to thier bone and they poor out all thier anger on locals, burning houses and killing innocent citizens that knows nothing about the incident.

I've been involved in a communal crisis where matter regarding boundary  adjustment  lead to the fight and because a particular man felt he was close to the government and can bring soldiers to threaten the rival community, brought in some soldiers in the guess of restoring peace but in the real sense used them to secretly kill is rival in secret. If you're in such position and you have your way, can you allow those military men to go Scott free? The problem is that our society don't want to get things right and the kind of power we give to our military men and politicians is just too much that an average citizen can't stand up to defend his right.

I don't have the details that led to this particular killing but from my little experience and information, an average Nigerian youth knows the ripalcusion that comes with killing a military man and wouldn't want to try it except he has no other option left.

I feel very sad wen I hear dis news, Aldo I no know all di details of why soldiers enter dem town, weda na for peace keeping purpose or some big men carry dem come intimidate di rival town, because dat kind thing de happen, but wetin go make people to get mind kill soldiers no go be small thing. Di repercussions of dem acts now don affect both di innocent and guilty, I hear say soldiers don burn di houses for di town and everybody don run comot, both people wey support di killings and wey no support am. I hope say make dem fish out the killers and make di innocent people go start to rebuild dem lives again from scratch.

You know illiteracy is a very big challenge to every growing nation. People who are actually educated will understand that soldiers people who are peace agents and killing them when they are deployed to a crisis ridden region is like telling the federal government that you are ready to fight them. You and I know that a community cannot withstand the federal government when it comes to combat. I pity the innocent ones and the poor who have nowhere to run to. My only advice for the people living in the warring communities is to vacate the area to another place at the mean time because more innocent people are going to get hurt because this is far from over. While investigation is ongoing, don't remain in that community, stay as far as you can and be getting the update from there.

Investigation should be done properly. This is because when it comes to political affairs and communal crisis. There are people who are in charge to control the youth in the political level. It may be the chief or one title holder. Manipulating the youth, luring them to take actions. What i try to understand is that the youth cannot just go and kill police officers. Someone in high office initiated that plan and used the youth to execute it. What more, we all know he funded them, gave them assurance of peace bla bla bla.

The deed has been done, may their soul rest in peace. It just surprises me because i almost thought all these killings are over, I felt that the main reason for death should be one trying to work hard, or hunger don't know people have the strength to go and kill other persons. It will be very difficult for Nigerians to change.
