So this ICO is now next week for anyone still interested. I'm surprised it's taken two years to come together but better than a last minute bull market style token sale.

 
It's asked username and passwprd when try to get in website.
Didn't hear anything lately.

lost complete interest and trust in this ICO. no information for months. i'll put my money in other more serious ICOs.

I also wait for the ICOs to drop. At least after the settlement between NewZealand amd him

he can now focus on other things. So he twittered 2 days ago:

"Next week: Bitcache and K.im I think you'll be impressed with our offering. Much work and thought went into this. Only the best for you."

But it wouldn´t surprise me if the ICO will be delayed again.

I've also been watching his Twitter for a good while now and got excited when he said "Tuesday" haha.
We are a lot of people waiting for BitCache
I hope it will be announced and even opened today, it's a pity I missed the last BnkToTheFuture Round.

I'm waiting for Kim to speak about Bitcache. I'm glad I'm not the only one waiting for this. He knows how to make money.

I have searched looking for info also about the ico but to no avail i hope someone can keep me posted if he/she get somegimg on it

Also there is still the risk of him getting extradicted to the USA for 750 years of jail.

He seems really busy with Destiny 2. Bitcache Pre-ICO was announced for October 3rd, nothing happened. The ICO was announced for tommorow. Last time he mentioned Bitcache on his Twitter was on October 2nd. Delays are normal in crypto-world, but for the standards of Kim, he has been really quiet regarding Bitcache.
I think this will be the biggest ICO the world has ever seen. People are literally going crazy everytime he is talking about Bitcache. I don't think the product itself will be THAT good, but Kim knows his business and how to generate hype.

It will come once Kim gets bored of playing Destiny 2. (He was first player worldwide to reach light 257).

We can only hope there is no new COD game soon because then he would again be busy playing videogames 24/7, not having time for business.

There are tons of high profile people moaning about being censored on youtube as there are adult stars doing their own thing on video sharing websites significantly inferior to what this promises, and having used it, delivers.

nobody knows this link. now uploader can put it up on kimbles site and add a price like $5.

you want it? pay $5 and you can download it.

the way this is supposed to be is that since kimble this time (unlike megaupload) is not HOSTING the file, but only linking to it, he thinks he wont get in trouble.

he also stupidly seems to think that HBO etc wont mind. LOL.

i guess his problem is that he is playing destiny 2 all day instead of bringing a good product.

I don't trust this guy. It's s shame how he exploited and revealed the hacker scene in Germany in the beginning of his "career".

Why does it looks promising? what are we investing in?

I can see how many young people like Kim. Maybe they used
Megaupload because they lack better alternatives.
Or maybe they like how he went to war with US gov, moviestudios,
I can see how this got a lot of charm for many people.

But he was also convicted of insider trading, has ratted
out his friends and the hacker/phreaker scene back in the
day, plus he plays videogames all day.

Which probably again got charm for many people

But if he got a huge ICO coming yet rather is first to
reach 257? in the destiny videogame you can see where
his focus is.

All his failed projects ever were either based on defrauding
others, or on scamming others for his own personal advantage.

Now for his new project, his new website, its basically a
front-end to hide links behind it. Of course its meant for
warez links. As he is not hosting the links directly, he
hopes that this is a legal loophole.

Now some say its great that legal content creators, like
authors, musicians, film studios could upload their content
and earn money. But what they dont realize is that there is
tons of such platforms already that barely anyone uses.

People want hollywood movies, famous bands/dj music, amazon
kindle books, game of thrones.. and not some students tv show.

So his site will only be able to grow large with piracy as
all his other projects.

But here is the issue. No movie studio in the planet, no artist,
no author will ever put their content on Kimdotcoms site because
they have their own platforms, contracts with regional companies
(so his claim that he can make movies available worldwide will
not work, as there is billions of dollars being paid by
countries to buy movie packages and have the exclusive rights).
If they pay $500m for a movie package to show it exclusively in
uk, they wont like it when everyone can download it for free
suddenly or for cents. None of the involved parties.

Also hollywood is in talks with Apple iTunes & others about
streaming movies only a few weeks after cinema start for heavy
prices like $50. Now if these movies are on Kimdotcoms new site
for $1 or $5 , why would they be happy about it even if they
can claim the illegal proceeding?

No way in hell this is going to work, its like saying: Lets steal
cars and then send the car owners $50 for gas and everyone is happy.

And also from a user perspective side its not working. Porn traffic
is now 99% for free porn. Piracy is heavily available for free,
people wont be likely to pay for downloading piracy when the
movies, music, shows are available everywhere else for $0.

What Kimdotcoms will get tho is a lot of PR i am sure, so that
might be worth it to invest some, but the concept itself, the
product, is pure garbage.

 A very interesting project, if it is really based on Megaupload , I will invest in this ico.

Kim Dotcom got in a lot of trouble a few years back, because the US government illegally spied on him and eventually busted him.

Mr. Dotcom is now starting a new website, K.im ; you can register now to be a part of the Beta. This is a file sharing service, which Meguapload will be a part of. It allows users to post anything, whether it be a forums skin, created beat, or photograph for a price, or no price at all. This makes it so much easier for content creators to share or sell their content for a price they think is fair, without being gouged with service fees.

If you pause that video a 0:41 you will see that Storj is the top option for file sharing with K.im, next to iCloud, Google Drive, Drop Box, and other file sharing services.

On top of this, other websites have rumors that MaidSafe is another option on K.im.

I'm really looking forward to participating in this ICO, Mr. Dotcom Tweeted that the Pre-ICO would be available October 3rd, and the ICO launch will be October 18th.
