Your transaction now shows 90+ confirmations so it should be all right now.

I suggest you close this thread since the issue has been resolved and your funds have been sent.

According to your TXID in blockchain the transaction is not yet confirmed have you tried to submit it through viabtc TX accelerator?
The right URL is here https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/

Anyway, I submitted the transaction ID to speed up the transaction and rebroadcast it through https://coinb.in/#broadcast

and let's wait for 30-60 minutes to confirm.

Since I have posted the transaction ID for forum member to check, based on your assumption, do you think the mining fee could have been the reason for the untimely delay
Yes. This fee would usually be enough, but there was a spike of unconfirmed transactions, so many transactions got priorized over yours. Since the recommended fee varies a lot, there are times where, for example, a 5 sat/byte fee would be enough... until a lot of transactions of 8+ sat/byte arrive in the mempool. Making the recommended fee rise to 8-9 sat/byte. The 5 sat/byte would then need to wait until every 8 sat/byte tx gets confirmed.

Thanks.

You don’t have to create a thread for every transaction you make. Sometimes it just takes some time to confirm (due to a suddenly spike of transactions, liwer fee, etc).

There was a spike of transactions the last few hours. But it is catching up for your fee range. http://core.jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#0,24h
