What can be done "outside" of the cryptocurrency sphere itself is the meaning of true decentralization.

You can run a few daemons at the same address. And you can mine in solo on few different PC at the same address.

You need to run miner as administrator, and start with "--noTest" flag, the .bat file as explained in the above post is the easy way for newbies to start mining.
