Guys . What do you think about holding KMD long term? Is it already overvalued?
It was not overvalued, the kmd have a good tech and just like another competitor such as monero even zcash, with the solid team and i think that will be interesting thing to see.
the komodo is undervalued right now, as you can see the latest big drop on the crypto and that was giving another chance to buy in the cheap price.

I just take a look the recent announcement, a good platform and long term surely! Right now, per KMD around 52k and possibly going for ATH, though market expect 40k+ BTW! Ahead more big announcement awaiting.

As we can see from the price trends the last few days the market is showing us that Komodo was already overvalued. I'm looking to buy back in if the price reaches around 35000-40000 again. At this price I think it would be good value to hold the coin for a while.

I haven't studdied KMD in a while, but i remember deciding not to invest long term because there was nothing really amazingly outstanding about the project, it's all just a bit average in my opinion. I think there is some better and more original stuff out there to invest in. But like i say, i haven't checked it out in depth in a while... Like, why invest in KMD long term when you could put the money into something much more amazing like Lykke (LKK), or perhaps I/O coin (IOC)

Also, i dont like the countdown clock they added on the KMD website just now, they may as well call it a 'pump clock',  i hate when the devs of a coin are trying to pump things up. It doesn't give me a lot of faith or trust. It's like calling your coin '10X', how rediculous...

i understand what you mean about countdown clocks. however, would you mind to explain what difference you see in the KMD countdown clock that you don't like and the imminent IOC countdown clock to which you have dedicated a whole thread? thanks.

The countdown clock for KMD is some short term thing about some news they know but are holding back from us. whereas the IOC is a countdown to calling the first block of the DIONS project which has been in development for about two and a half years. The IOC clountdown is more about giving a fair launch to their project. So these are a bit different situations. But yea, i can understand how i must have sounded like a hypoctite on the surface.

thanks for explaining. and yes, i think you had a point - i followed the bittrex KMD market on announcement day and it seemed that the price pump and then dump was manipulated just like clockwork...
i believe some aspects of KMD remain interesting tho, and as price keeps lowering this dip will give a good opportunity for re-entering

I hold KMD for the 5% annual return and airdrops. Also I like the idea of decentrilized exchange, Komodo is one of them. Or atleast is suppose to be in some future. And the developer has quite lot of experience. Havent had great success with past projects but sometimes you have to try several times. Also the coins is still relatively cheap. Atleast one of the cheaper ones.

I hope the price will go down after the clock. Then I can buy some more.

Guys . What do you think about holding KMD long term? Is it already overvalued?
ive been holding it since i bought around 33k satoshi and sale it almost 70k satoshi so its already  give me profit  right now and waiting again for the dump and i would buy again. i hear there are a good news comming next week so if you still holding some its better for you to hold and wait for the news i think it will help the price to increase more.
