I received mine two weeks ago. I purchased it back in Dec 2013 as part of the first public batch.

I am having all kinds of difficulty with KnC. I think they are having internal problems. My guess is cash flow problems. I have seen companies that behave the way they are and it isn't a good sign.

They told us, in their sales data, they would offer hashing for us in their cloud if they missed their delivery dead line. I figured that was a good selling point. Then months later they told us that we would get a second miner, since we paid $13,000 for the miner and later batches paid less and the mining difficulty had risen so much. It was to help with ROI. It was very magnanimous on their part.

Well they missed their deadline and offered the cloud mining on our behalf. The fine print said we were taking this in trade for the extra miner. REALLY???! So you end up getting a couple of coins and lose the extra miner. What stinks is that they promised the cloud mining long before the extra miner. How could we be expected to know that we would lose the extra miner when we use an option promised long before the extra miner was promised? It does not make sense but there it was in the fine print. It was probably legal but not very ethical.

I did received my miner shortly after that. I think it was so that I could not ask for a refund at that point. Their purchase agreement states you cannot get a refund once the miner has shipped.

When I got my miner, it did not come with any set up instructions. I looked on KnC's web site but didn't find anything specific to the Titan. It didn't seem that difficult on what to do to set things up. I hooked up only one cube for testing. Nothing worked.

I sent support an email about needing a manual so I could be sure I was setting things up correctly. I got a prompt reply, next day since we are 9 hours apart, with a pdf manual. I checked my set up against their instructions and it was good.

I sent another email to explain my difficulties. I got a reply the next day telling me to test each cube, one at a time. I did so and found that two of the cables were bad and one of the cubes was not functioning either. I sent another email explaining this. They sent me an RMA with paid shipping. I sent the unit back that day (Friday). They received it on Monday, tested it, said it worked, and shipped it back immediately. I got it back on Wednesday and tried it again but it still did not work.

I have tried all kinds of combinations of swapping this defective part with all of the other working parts and the defective part never functions, no matter where it is put. I sent Kurt another email explaining this. There has been no reply at this point. I have read other threads on KnC where this has happened to others and this is the point there I will probably get kicked under the bus.

Like I said before, I think these guys are in trouble. Anyone who starts out making such kind offers to take care of their customers and then does this kind of behaviour is in some kind of trouble or they are just erratic. Either way, it makes them dangerous to do business with, especially with such expensive equipment.

We live and learn. I have learned a lot from this. I hope others can learn from this post as well.

I think the people running KnC better hope this does not flop on them. They will have problems getting any start up funding for future endeavours. Any smart investor that does his due diligence will see the trail left by these guys and will think twice about investing with them.

These people will have the actions of KnCMiner tied to their names for a LONG TIME:

Hi all .
I placed my order back on April 14th for a KNCminer Neptune batch 2 & Kncminer received my funds within 4 business days so that makes it April 18th, 2014.  I have not received anything as of yet except for the following upon my request for information:

Hi,

Neptune miners are continually being shipped each day. You will receive a UPS notification with tracking number when your order has been dispatched.

Kind regards,

Greetings Kurt or to whom this may concern;
Any information you can shed on my order at this point would be a surprise as well as welcome. Anything.
What is the status of my Neptune Batch 2 miner? At this point I don't know what to say except to reiterate that we're now in the 3rd quarter of the year 2014 & the promised by end of 2nd quarter Neptune second batch miner I ordered is still not in my possession. What is a first time client to do short of starting legal proceedings?
I really do hope that at the end of all this waiting since March that no one asks me if I would ever recommend KNCminers as a viable solution for providing any type of mining hardware. It would take a miracle at this point for me to give a difference of opinion if I were asked.

I hope you can deliver my prepaid miner as well as the promised additional Titan or Neptune batch 2 miners to me soon.I'm losing bitcoin & time.I'm already a disappoint customer.

Thank you for your time?

Regards,
Order # XXX=xxxx-XXXXXX.

Has anyone received their order?  I tried the refund process but then after they gave me the schpiel that it will take 10-15 business days by the 30th day I was pissed!!!!  Angry
Then I get the e-mail to keep waiting & opt for the free 2nd miner.  I'd be a fool not to take, right?
But what good does it do for me if the wait is now extended into, now, mid to late July?
The freaking diff. level is even more ridiculous than ever that at this point on needs a 10TH machine to break even in 120 days or less. No?

Anybody have anything to share?
